Serena gape in wonderment at the very man that has been disrupting her dreams, but this time around it was almost as if she was seeing him for the first time.
Standing before her was an extremely good looking man, the mere word handsome was a great understatement, as his appearance appear to be otherworldly handsome it was the same man she met at the bar.
His skin appear to be porcelain-like complexion with a subtle sheen, maybe it was because of the light of the day Serena thought to herself.
His features were almost too perfect to her, as if crafted by the hands of the gods, he was an unsettling beauty, he had thick, raven black locks that cascade down to cover his eyes, his hair looked so soft that she wanted to run her hands through them, when she saw him at the bar the other day, he appeared like any ordinary man, maybe it was because of the dim light of the bar, Serena thought, but looking at him now he could easily pass as the most handsome man that has ever walked on planet earth.
He was so handsome she could not believe he was human, no mortal man has been able to impress Serena with their looks but this man was otherworldly,
He moves with the very grace of a mystical hero, commanding attention without seeking it, his eyes was so bright almost piercing directly to her as he watched her every move like a predator watching its prey, he was not an ordinary man Serena thought to herself.
"We meet again." Eiravyn said amusedly with a slight lift of his mouth waking her from her trance.
~Few Hours Ago~
Contrary to his words yesterday night Eiravyn followed Serena around the next day, he woke up early in the morning and packed his car very close to her house, he waited for her to come out, he made sure she was not aware that she was being followed, Eiravyn blames his actions on the so called pull of the mate bond that keep directing his thoughts back to her.
Eiravyn followed Serena to the children shelter, he saw her enter the building with another girl by her side, he heard everything that was being said in the shelter due to his sharp vampire hearing. When she made her way to the hospital he had followed her, when he saw her entering the hospital Eiravyn had ordered Caspian to follow her inside and find out everything that she was doing there.
Caspian could not refuse as he thought his king was acting strange and something did not feel right, Caspian had his doubts but he still fulfilled his duties, he find out about Abigail's case and the woman that had given birth, he went back to his king to report everything he had discovered.
"She had visited one Mrs. Maria and after that she went to see a doctor concerning a little girl called Abigail, the child stays at the shelter where she volunteered, apparently the little girl has lung scarring but the doctor claimed that it was not serious." Caspian reported dutifully as soon as he sat down beside his king as he observed his king reactions to the news.
"A little girl?" Eiravyn asked as he brought his hands up to his smooth jaw, he stroke his invisible beards before he turned back to Caspian.
"Do you think this little girl means a lot to her?" He asked Caspian as he seemed to be in deep thoughts.
"From their conversation it seems she considered the girl as her daughter, as she had personally asked the doctor to use her lungs for the transplants."
"Hmmm… is she her daughter then? but she does not look married, I did not see any ring on her finger."
"I want you to look into her, find out everything about her, from her family down to what she does for a living I want to know everything." Eiravyn commanded Caspian again when he saw Serena coming out of the hospital.
Caspian looked at Eiravyn, this was the very first time he saw him behave in this manner and over a girl for that matter, could she be the mate he had been looking for? But if yes why is he going through all this trouble when he can just claim her as his. The Eiravyn he knows would not go through all this trouble but will claim her at first glance, Caspian wondered why he was doing all this. Was she the reason we had left the bar early yesterday?
Caspian groaned, he could not understand what was really going on, "what about what you said yesterday night, you said we would leave this realm and return to the Vampire kingdom first thing tomorrow morning, what are we still doing here?" Caspian reminded Eiravyn because it seemed like he had forgotten and if at all it was really because of that girl, he wanted him to tell him the truth and stop playing games.
"That will have to hold on for now." Eiravyn said straightaway not giving him room for argument, he told Caspian to go over to his car, they had brought separate cars today as he did not want him to interfere with his plans, Eiravyn saw Serena leaving, he quickly asked his chauffeur to follow the car slowly, when she had driven to a distance, Eiravyn instructed his chauffeur to cause a small accident and make it look like it was her fault, he just wanted to see her up close again, he had been yearning for her ever since yesterday, he wanted to come in close contacts with her.
