Seeing the disaster that had hit the city face-to-face—the burning buildings, the crashed cars stained with bloody handprints, and even the blood on the streets without what was supposed to be a corpse—Rei finally came to understand what it meant for something to end.
As for Nach, he finally understood how soft Rei's breasts were as they pressed against his back while the two of them rode the motorcycle.
While indulging in the soft sensation—which, of course, was making him hard—Nach continued navigating through the fictional city of Tokonosu.
Nach, of course, wouldn't know where to go. The Reader's Viewpoint only allowed him to see what was happening to the main cast and the side characters, and only those he wanted to save. That was at least helpful for checking if they were still alive, but it didn't have any sort of GPS-tracking map that told him exactly where they were or where he needed to be next.
Which was why Nach was relying on Rei for directions toward the Onibetsu Bridge, near Shizuka's house—where the main cast would arrive next after ditching Shido's group.
As the two of them were indulged in their own concerns, just like the beginning of Act.4 in the original story, a fighter jet flew right over them.
Nach was forced to stop the motorcycle—clutching and stepping on the brakes—not only causing Rei to cling tighter to him and press her ample, soft breasts harder against his back, but also to keep them from stumbling due to the wind draft caused by the fighter jet.
"They were flying low just now, so why didn't they help us!?" Rei shouted angrily, looking at the fighter jet until it disappeared from her view.
"It's a fighter jet, Rei. I doubt it's one of those that can park on the side of the road and let us hop in," Nach said, unable to hide the teasing grin on his face.
"Of course I know that! And that's not what I meant, so stop teasing me, Sensei!"
While Rei was lashing out at Nach, hitting his back with weak punches, Nach finally noticed the cue in the story.
So everything is still happening as in the original plot, Nach thought as he looked at the almost empty fuel gauge of the motorcycle.
Despite the changes he'd caused—saving side characters and students who were supposed to die at the beginning, staying at the school for the night, sharing intimacy with Kyoko, accidentally ruining Takashi's character development, and leaving the school in the morning instead of the afternoon—the events that were supposed to follow were still happening.
That realization made Nach concerned for the safety of Kyoko and the other side characters, but it also made him feel at ease, knowing his knowledge of the plot would still be useful to him.
"We're running out of fuel, so can you lead us to a gas station first?" Nach said, prompting Rei to stop her tantrum.
"I think there's a gas station after another couple of traffic lights."
Following Rei's directions, the two of them encountered another event that Nach was really hoping not to miss.
"Sensei, look! The right side of the intersection!" Rei exclaimed, excitedly pointing toward the police car parked at the corner of a building.
What Rei hadn't realized was that knowing what it means for something to end was only the beginning.
As for Nach, what he realized was that Rei's breasts were much softer now that she was pressing them against his nape without his jacket and shirt interfering.
And of course, it would be much softer on bare skin, Nach thought as he drove toward the police car to confirm what he was expecting:
A truck had crashed into the back of the police car, killing the two officers right in their seats.
"Be careful, Rei. The car's gasoline is leaking," he said as soon as Rei got off the motorcycle, rushing toward the police officers to salvage anything useful she could find.
Rei found a handcuff, a retractable police baton, and two five-shot revolver handguns.
It was only supposed to be one revolver in the original plot, since Takashi didn't help Rei take the second revolver from the dead police officer's hand. But with Nach's help, they were able to acquire the second revolver.
"Do you know how to use it?" Rei asked, looking at Nach holding the revolver.
"Of course I know how to use a gun," Nach replied as he tucked the revolver behind his waist and placed the handcuffs along with the keys into the pocket of his jacket. "And I actually have good aim."
"And why do you know how to use a gun? You're just a teacher, right?" Rei added, curious.
I learned it as part of my survival training… But it wasn't something Nach could say. Regardless, he already had an answer prepared for this exact situation.
"I learned it so I can protect my students if I have to," he said, picking up the other revolver and handing it to Rei. Then he asked her the same question she had asked him.
"What about you, Rei? Do you know how to use it?"
"My dad always carries one, so he showed it to me. But I've never fired one before."
Rei hesitated to take the revolver until Nach pulled her closer—as if embracing her—feeling her ample, soft breasts pressing against his body, while making Rei feel his body and the massive bulge pressing against her.
"E-Ekk~!… What are you doing, Sensei?"
Rei shrieked and panicked, her face flushing as she felt something hard poking her belly. But she didn't push Nach away, allowing him to do what he intended.
Nach lifted Rei's blouse slightly, then tucked the revolver behind her waist before letting her go.
"Just don't hesitate when you pull the trigger. That's all you need to remember when firing a gun."
"But I don't think I could shoot someone…"
"Not even Shido?"
Rei's flustered expression immediately shifted into hatred, though Nach could tell she still wasn't at the point where she could shoot Shido. Regardless, that was enough for now.
"You don't have to kill them. Just shoot them in the arm or leg, and that'll be enough to defend yourself."
What Nach said was a bit questionable, but Rei decided to keep the revolver and the baton. She then hopped onto the motorcycle behind Nach before asking what to do with the baseball bat and the makeshift spear she was still holding.
"Should we throw these away?"
"We'll find something better to replace them later, but let's keep them for now," Nach said, then turned the key and started the motorcycle, driving toward the gas station.
