The forest shook as Ryosen and Aegis finally reached the edge of the Haven.Smoke from new chimneys rose lazily into the sky. Tools clanged.
For once…
It felt like home.
Ryosen sighed with relief. "They're okay… thank god."
But Aegis didn't relax.His armor hummed restlessly.
"Typhon is still out there. He's not done."
Far North
Typhon stood on a frozen cliff, the wind roaring around him. His body still crackled with leftover power from his confrontation with Ryosen and Aegis.
He clenched his fists.
"I almost lost control… over pests."
Black lightning crawled across the sky.
"I need more power."
A circle of runes glowed beneath his feet.
A dark ritual.
A dangerous one.
Because Typhon knew the truth:
Bellerophon was slowly taking over.
And if Typhon didn't act now…
He would disappear.
Forever.
He snarled.
"I won't be somebody's weapon."
He slammed his hand onto the runes,
And the ground split apart.
The Haven of Six
"KETSUKI! SHICHIRO! WE'RE BACK!" Ryosen shouted.
Ketsuki immediately tackled him. "BIG BROOO!! I MISSED YOU, ALSO I CAN TURN INTO A BAT NOW WATCH"
Aegis shrieked, "NO, NOT RIGHT NOW."
Ryosen laughed. "At least someone's excited."
Katsu looked up from a half-built wall. "Took you two long enough."
Shichiro nodded. "Typhon trouble?"
Aegis hesitated."…Yeah."
Before anyone could ask more.
The ground pulsed.
Once.Twice.
Then a violent shockwave tore open the sky, a column of twisted black lightning exploding in the far north.
Ryosen's eyes widened."That's Typhon's energy. But… corrupted."
Aegis's armor flared."He's doing something desperate."
Katsu frowned. "Should we go?"
Shichiro shook his head."No. We defend home first."
Ketsuki tugged on Ryosen's sleeve."Something's coming…"
Everyone turned north.
And then.
Typhon crashed into the ground like a meteor.But this time… something was wrong.
He wasn't flickering.
He wasn't unstable.
He was decaying.
His flesh crumbled into black dust.His veins glowed like cracked magma lines.
Ryosen took a step forward. "Typhon…?"
Typhon looked up.
There was no arrogance.No smirk.Just… desperation.
"Give me… your Hearts," he rasped.
Aegis raised his shield. "No."
Typhon stumbled forward, claws forming from black lightning."If I don't take them… I will disappear…"
The boys spread out.
Shichiro: "So you came here to steal them? After everything?"
Typhon didn't deny it.
"I must survive. I must. I MUST"
Black lightning exploded from his body as he lunged.
Typhon blasted forward.
ROOOOAAAR!
Two dragons Rokuro's Ice Dragon and Shichiro's Fire Dragon burst into existence and spiraled around each other.
Blue and orange flames twined together, forming a single gigantic vortex dragon.
"Twin Element!" Shichiro shouted.
"FROSTFIRE WYVERNS! yey yahoo new move yey" Rokuro finished.
The dual dragon slammed into Typhon, sending him rolling across the ground, smoking and frozen at the same time.
Typhon roared and launched a beam of black lightning at Katsu.
Katsu froze. Not in fear, but because time around him began to distort as his Heart activated.
But before he needed to rewind,
Kentarō leaped in front of him.
"NOT. HIM."
He punched forward, fist glowing with pure physical force.
The beam shattered.
The shockwave blasted the ground into a crater.
Katsu blinked. "…You just..."
Kentarō wiped his knuckles. "Yeah, yeah. I'm built different."
Typhon teleported behind Aegis.
Claws aimed at his spine.
Aegis didn't have time to block.
Katsu raised two fingers.

Time reversed one second.
Typhon reappeared behind Aegis, but this time Aegis whirled and smashed Typhon with his shield.
Katsu exhaled.
"Second Verse."
Typhon fell to one knee.
His body was collapsing.
But his eyes burned.
"If I take even ONE of your Hearts… I live…"
He lunged toward Ryosen.
"NO!" Ketsuki screamed.
Aegis blocked.
Shichiro burned him.
Rokuro froze him.
Kentarō kicked him through a tree.
But Typhon crawled forward, screaming,
"GIVE ME YOUR HEARTS!!"
He grabbed Ryosen's chest. His hand phasing, trying to dig into his Heart.
Ryosen screamed. Golden light flickering violently
Aegis roared:"RYOSEN!!"
Katsu: "GET OFF HIM!"
Rokuro: "HE'S TRYING TO STEAL IT!!"
Shichiro: "PULL HIM OFF!"
But Typhon held on like a rabid beast.
"YOUR HEART IS MINE!!!"
Ryosen's eyes snapped open.
And his entire body ignited.
"GET… OFF… ME!"
BOOOOM!!
A golden shockwave annihilated the area around him.
Typhon was thrown into the air. Skin peeling. Lightning collapsing. Heart shattering
But that wasn't enough for Katsu.
Timestopped.
Katsu leaped above typhon,
"you were always a weapon for Bellerophon."
He hit typhon in the chest, cracking Typhon's heart.
Time now continues.
The group approached slowly.
Typhon's body was turning into black dust.His voice was barely a breath.
"I… only wanted… to exist…"
Ryosen clenched his jaw.
"I know."
Typhon looked at him with something almost like peace.
"Bellerophon… is coming…"
Cracks ran up his arms, chest, face.
"Prepare yourselves…"
And then.
Typhon crumbled into dust.
The wind blew him away.
The Haven stood in silence
Katsu looked at his fingers, still faintly glowing from the rewind. "This arc… was insane. Thanks author."
Shichiro nodded. "Next one will be worse."
Rokuro smirked. "We'll be stronger."
Kentarō spun his daggers "bring i- WAIT WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO WHO THE HELL IS THE AUTHOR"
Ketsuki raised her hand.
"Can I turn into a bat now?"
Everyone shouted
"NO!!"
