Chapter 215 - Resuming The Production Of Sibia Green Grape Wine

Seeing this, Sengoku nodded with satisfaction and laughed: "Clever kid!"

Then he picked up the freshly produced wine on the desk, inspecting it seriously.

But after a glance, he noticed something, and a hint of surprise crossed his face. "Why is the packaging different? Well, whatever. Let's taste it first!"

Not bad, the wine was quite good, though overpriced on the black market, making it less cost-effective.

Without hesitation, Sengoku took out his exquisite wine glass. He glanced at the door. Seeing that Garp hadn't arrived, he finally relaxed.

Leisurely, he opened the wine, poured a full glass, set down the bottle, swirled the glass, and elegantly took a sip.

However, after one sip, Sengoku furrowed his brow. Looking at the glass in his hand, he pondered for a moment, then raised it again with curiosity and took another sip.

This time, he didn't swallow immediately. He savored it in his mouth, and after a short while, he looked at the wine again, puzzled. "Something's off! It's not as refreshing as last time. Could the informants have bought a fake wine on the black market?"

Meanwhile, in the East Blue.

In the Foosha Village of the Kingdom of Goa.

Bang!

A sudden loud explosion erupted in the quiet village, causing the surrounding area to tremble.

The villagers, who had been strolling around, all turned in panic toward the source of the sound.

Even the tavern owner, Makino, who also heard the noise and felt something, ran out in alarm.

"What's going on? Are pirates attacking?"

"Pirates, pirates are here!"

"Pirates, you big-headed fool, it just seems like something fell nearby."

The chaos didn't last long. When the dust settled, and they saw the dozen or so wooden crates that had suddenly appeared, the villagers were stunned, curious, and confused.

"What is this?"

Just as the villagers were getting curious…

"The village chief is here!!"

No one knew who shouted, but upon hearing that the village chief had arrived, the villagers calmed down a bit.

"What's going on?"

Foosha Village's village chief, Woop Slap, looked at the wooden crates in front of him in confusion. "Wooden crates? Where did they come from?"

"I don't know, Village Chief Woop Slap, but it seems like these fell from the sky."

"That's right, it scared me to death at the time!"

"Fell from the sky?"

Hearing the villagers, Woop Slap seemed to understand something.

Although he was somewhat worried about what frightening things might be inside the crates, as the village chief, he restrained his concern and walked toward the crates.

As he got closer, he seemed to notice something, and a trace of surprise appeared on his face.

On the top it was written…

"For Mr. Garp, please sign. Also, remember to transfer the payment to this account!"

"Garp? That old fellow, what is he up to this time?"

...

Meanwhile, in Cocoyasi Village.

"Nojiko, has Nami recovered yet?"

"Not yet."

Nojiko, busy in the orchard, looked at Genzo walking over and said with a helpless tone while smiling: "After all, this loss was so great for her, she can't recover that quickly, but I believe in a while she will come to terms with it."

She glanced at Nami lying in the front yard of the wooden house.

Previously, to show gratitude to that marine, they had taken all their savings to purchase the wine from him.

At that time, Nami had gritted her teeth in anger and even threatened to report embezzlement to Marine Headquarters.

Of course, it was just a joke.

Everyone was very grateful to the marine who saved the Conomi Islands.

At first, they had thought they might lose money on the wine, and since Nami had become the East Blue agent for that brand, they had stocked up a large batch.

Everyone worried about how to sell it, especially since it was West Blue's wine, who knew if it would sell in the East Blue?

After trying to promote it, the results were just as they feared. Few people near the Conomi Islands had heard of this wine. Even merchants buying oranges said they hadn't heard of it. So very few bought it, and those who did were only curious to taste it.

Just as everyone was distressed, unexpectedly... The West Blue's Green Grape Wine suddenly became popular, and its price multiplied several times.

The wine, which they had thought unsellable, instantly became a sought-after item, with countless merchants buying out all the stock, boosting the sales of Cocoyasi Village's oranges as well.

This scene brought great joy to everyone, especially Nami, who felt even more confident in her previous decision.

Although the wine profits were shared between the purchased goods from the marine and the stock Nami represented, so they didn't earn much from that, the profits from the oranges brought them a big gain.

Therefore, Nami immediately declared she would make Cocoyasi Village prosper, gaining everyone's approval.

But just as everyone rolled up their sleeves to get to work, suddenly, news came that the West Blue's Green Grape Wine would no longer be produced. The previously cheap wine, which had increased in price several times, left Nami feeling disheartened, making her lose all motivation.

In fact, not only Nami, but even the villagers who had wanted to work hard were equally disappointed. Although disappointed, no one was angry at Nami, and she alone still looked gloomy.

Nojiko shook her head but smiled at Genzo and said, "It's fine that it's gone. Being able to live quietly like this is enough for everyone. Since the Arlong Pirates are gone, I hope Nami can start a new life, pursue her dreams, and not remain obsessed with money."

Genzo was momentarily stunned, then seemed to recall something; he nodded with a nostalgic and emotional smile and was about to say something.

"Nojiko, you're right. I can't remain lazy anymore."

At some point, Nami had arrived with a freshly picked orange, eating it as she spoke seriously: "That wine isn't worth selling. I should pursue my dreams!"

Just as she had told Bellemere back then, she wanted to become the greatest navigator!

As for money... Money is important!

But she couldn't just go out to sea as a petty thief!

As soon as she finished speaking, seeing Nami regain her spirit, Nojiko and Genzo both smiled in relief.

At that moment, they felt that this child had finally grown up.
