Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: Pipi appears in large numbers!

Pokémon players are all people of broad love.

As the saying goes, everyone is my wing.

Whether it's the common Caterpie, the rare Garchomp, or the sexy Jynx, someone will like them.

Not to mention legendary Pokémon.

Although Kawaki is currently running a Breeding House and doesn't have many powerful Pokémon by his side, some things are better done sooner rather than later.

Having knowledge of Latias in advance means that once he grows stronger, he can prepare early to personally witness the "Mythical Pokémon" at the top of this world's ecosystem.

Kawaki turned around, retrieved some Pokémon treats from his house, and fed them to the Taillow in front of him.

The Taillow looked at him with satisfaction, then lowered its head and began to enjoy the meal.

While it was eating, Kawaki checked the Taillow's specific information.

[Pokémon: Taillow]

[Gender: Male]

[Ability: Scrappy]

[Moves: Growl, Peck, Focus Energy, Quick Attack, Wing Attack]

[Status: Healthy]

[Mood: 😄😄😄 Joyful]

[Joyfulness Value: 50]

[Friendship: 20 (Another free poop scooper)]

[Description: It's so comfortable not having to forage for food myself! It would be even better if there were those sweet, square candies. —Taillow.]

Kawaki: "…"

Sure enough, this Taillow was too lazy to forage for itself, so it deliberately came over to scrounge for food, right?

"Another"?

Could it be that this Taillow had been fed by others before?

No wonder it's so experienced…

It's just that this Taillow is indeed not satisfied with the food he provided, right?

Sweet, square candies—Kawaki's mind instantly thought of Energy Cubes.

They are very delicious treats for Pokémon; not only do they taste good, but they can also enhance their beauty, making their fur even shinier and smoother.

It's just that Kawaki doesn't know how to make them yet, but he must learn how to do so when he has time later.

But eating is eating, and fooling around is fooling around, the Taillow's gifts to him certainly didn't lessen.

After the Taillow finished eating, a line of information reappeared before Kawaki's eyes.

[Taillow's mood improved, Joyfulness Value +20, received Taillow's gift: "New Information".]

[Taillow revealed a new piece of information to you: Two days ago, a super-large "star" fell from the sky and landed in Meteor Falls, and a large group of pink Pokémon came out of it. The star seemed to be their spaceship.]

With its belly full, the Taillow flapped its wings and flew away, much like a scummy bird that doesn't recognize anyone once it gets what it wants.

Kawaki looked at the information before him with some astonishment.

It's not information about Latias and Latios anymore?

A star fell from the sky into Meteor Falls.

Star, pink Pokémon, alien spaceship…

Could it be referring to Pokémon like Clefairy?

Clefairy, a Fairy-type Pokémon, are communal Pokémon with a social structure similar to humans, and they hold rituals to worship the moon.

There are rumors that they do not actually belong to this planet, but arrived on this planet long, long ago, traveling by spaceship.

If the Taillow's information is correct, this means that two days ago, a spaceship full of Clefairy landed near Meteor Falls!

Clefairy are very rare Pokémon, but they are gentle and very reliable. In some areas, Clefable, evolved from Clefairy, are even used as assistants by Joy at Pokémon Centers.

Kawaki kept this information in mind. The Breeding House was not far from Meteor Falls, so he could go investigate later after closing to see if he could catch some Clefairy to help out at the Breeding House.

Just then, the sound of Bewear suddenly came from behind him.

"Goo!"

Kawaki turned to look and saw Bewear approaching with a golden-haired girl.

A customer!

Kawaki immediately perked up. He returned to the main hall and introduced himself, "Hello, this is Kawaki Breeding House. I am the owner, Kawaki. How may I help you?"

The golden-haired girl looked around curiously.

"I remember there wasn't a Breeding House here before," she said.

"We just opened a few days ago," Kawaki replied with a smile.

"I see." The golden-haired girl took out two Poké Balls from her pocket and said simply and directly, "I'd like to board these two Pokémon here for a while."

Boarding Pokémon? Kawaki raised an eyebrow, then promoted, "Do you need to breed? This Breeding House has a very special hatching method that allows offspring Pokémon to learn moves they normally couldn't, though the price will be a bit higher."

Hearing this, the girl was slightly stunned.

Allowing offspring Pokémon to learn moves they normally couldn't? Does that refer to inherited moves on the offspring?

Kawaki saw what the girl was thinking. He smiled and said, "That's right, but it's not just inherited moves. It also includes our family's self-created secret techniques, which allow Pokémon to learn moves that would normally be absolutely impossible to learn through breeding inheritance."

The girl couldn't help but fall into thought: "For example?"

Kawaki smiled, then began to give examples: "Then, do you think a Pokémon like Growlithe can learn Tackle?"

"Of course!" the girl said. Not only could it, but it was also very easy.

"What about Outrage?"

The girl thought for a moment and said, "That's also possible."

Although it was somewhat difficult, for Growlithe, it wasn't impossible; it just wasn't as easy as learning Tackle.

Kawaki looked at the girl's expression and continued to ask, "Then what about Sleep Powder?"

At these words, it was as if a thunderclap had struck from a clear sky.

"Sleep Powder?" The girl's face showed astonishment.

The move Sleep Powder has absolutely no relation to Growlithe; their compatibility is almost zero.

Among all types of Pokémon, only Bug-type and Grass-type Pokémon are very proficient in this move, but a Fire-type Growlithe…

Impossible, absolutely impossible!

Kawaki, however, smiled. He whistled, and soon, an orange-red figure ran down the stairs.

It was, astonishingly, a Growlithe that hadn't fully grown yet.

"Growlithe, show this guest your skill," Kawaki said with a smile.

"Woof woof!"

Growlithe wagged its tail happily. It looked at the girl in front of it, then suddenly sneezed.

The next second, countless sparkling powdery light particles flew out from its sneeze, spreading around.

That move…

It was, astonishingly, the Grass-type Sleep Powder!

The girl's pupils contracted, and she was completely stunned.

A Growlithe that can use Sleep Powder…

This, this, this…

This isn't scientific!
