Arianna didn't know what she was feeling at the moment. Was she scared or was she happy? She couldn't tell. She could feel the cold, intimidating aura emanating from this man which happened to be her saviour. Who is he that his voice alone scares people?
"Are you okay?" Ryan asked, pulling her away from her thoughts. He tried to sound worried and concerned but his voice was still cold.
"Yes, I'm okay" Arianna replied, feeling chills down her spine. Why is she scared?
"You should get that treated" Ryan said, pointing towards her broken lips.
"I will" Arianna said. Somehow her heart raced, and she couldn't tell the main reason why.
Ryan on the other hand kept staring at her. She looked a bit like someone. Someone who.... Ah, he couldn't tell.
"Okay" he said and turned to leave.
He saved her right? She should at least say 'thank you'.
"Wait" she said and Ryan stopped in his tracks. He turned around slowly, his hand buried in his pockets. "Thank you for saving me" she said and smiled warmly. This scene looks familiar. Something like this had happened. Especially with that face. And that smile....why is it so warm? He could keep staring at that smile for ages without moving his eyes for a split second. For a moment his heart began to race slowly. Something that has never happened to him. All because of this girl's smile.
He moved his eyes away to avoid staring further. He walked away without a word. Arianna watched his retreating back which felt so strong even when she hadn't touched it. Somehow, somewhere in her heart, she wished she would see him again.

Arianna was walking home when her phone rang. It was dark already as she had been roaming the streets. She checked the caller ID and immediately picked the call.
"Hello?" She said
"Anna, what happened? Mum said you took the rest of the day off" Jia asked immediately.
"Yeah, I did. I needed space to think" she replied.
"Are you okay?" Jia asked
"Mm.... I'm fine" But her voice said otherwise.
"You don't sound okay, Anna" Jia noticed "Did something happen?"
Arianna stayed quite for a moment "I met Yohan and his crew today, Jia" she finally spoke.
"Wait, which Yohan? The bully?"
"Yes" Arianna replied with pouted lips. Jia gasped. She wondered what her friend would look like now. Swollen face? Broken lips with blood dripping from it?.... Oh no!
"Did they hurt you?" Jia was totally worried.
"Yeah, at least I got some slaps and punches from them before someone came to save me." Arianna said. Her lips stretching into a tiny smile at the thought of her saviour.
"Someone? Who is this person?" She became curious.
"I don't know him"
Him?! It's a man?! She really love this cases.
"But... he's so strong" Arianna said "And I feel like...I don't know....I feel like I'm connected to him" she smiled.
Connected?!
"Hmm.... that's quite interesting" Arianna reached home already, she saw Rosalie standing by the door, with her hands crossed over her chest and a cold grin on her chin. Arianna slowed down in her steps. Why is she waiting by the door?
"Uh.... Jia, let me call you back. Looks like I might get in another shit" she said. Jia felt bad. Anna is always in trouble, but she still managed to smile sometimes.
"Alright. Be safe okay?"
"Mm..." She said and hung up. Taking a deep breath, she walked towards the house.
"Someone's late today" Rosalie spoke curtly.
"Have you suddenly become the doorkeeper?" Arianna asked.
"No. Mum asked me to watch if you're coming." Rosalie replied "Looks like a meeting would be held in your name. Hmmph." She turned and walked inside, slamming the door behind her.
Arianna rolled her eyes. This baby is really rude. Does she realise she's older? She took a breather and walked inside. Everyone was sitting in the living room.
"I'm home" she said. Not minding what Rosalie had said, she made attempts to walk away.
"Arianna" Do-hyun stopped her. Arianna stopped on her tracks. She took a deep breath before turning to them.
"Yes?"
"Come and sit" he said without sparing her a glance. Arianna looked at each one of their faces. What really do they want? She walked to the couch and sat down.
"So what's this about?" she asked. Yoo Na felt irked at her words, but she tried to keep calm. Putting on a grin, she said
"Arianna, you see your uncle here just started growing his new company...."
"I know" Arianna cut her off, which was really bad.
"So....we need funds to grow the company into a bigger one...."
"So what has that got to do with me?" She asked calmly yet curtly. Her face was blank, devoid of any expression.
"Would you just shut up and listen?!" Rosalie yelled, irked to the peak.
"Don't you dare! I'm not your baby sister " Arianna yelled as well.
"Oh yeah?! Then you can as well leave this house. Isn't it clear that no one wants you here?"
"Shut up, Sally" Yoo Na snapped. Why is she trying to spoil everything?
Sally glared at Arianna. She was so pissed she could start a fight.
"Don't mind her Arianna" Yoo Na said.
Arianna scoffed. Why is she being nice? Looks like they want something.
Yoo Na was annoyed too. In fact the whole house was annoyed, including Do-hyun who just sat quiet.
"Arianna...." Yoo Na said, coming to sir with her, she took her hand in hers. Arianna was stunned. What is going on? Is she dreaming right now? Because these set of people have never spoken as nicely as Yoo Na is right now.
"...we need that money to grow the company" Yoo Na completed. Arianna jerked off her hand immediately.
"Wait, what money?" She asked, almost in a chuckle.
"The insurance money your mother left behind" Do-hyun spoke.
