Rosalie's chest went up and down in anger "I'll make sure you're dealt with, Arianna" she said and walked away in a fit of rage.
Arianna heaved a sigh as her eyes lowered to the floor.
"Anna...." Jia called, walking up to her "Are you okay?"
Arianna just looked at her, not knowing what to say.
"Come let's go to your room" she led her to her room and closed the door, making her sit on the bed.
"Where did you go last? You got me so worried" Jia queried
"I'm sorry " Arianna said
"What is this on your lip?" Jia asked "How did you bruise your lip?"
"Ah... I...I got kidnapped last night, after you called" Arianna replied
"You were what?!" she stood on her feet in shock.
"Lee Yoo Na ordered for my kidnap. She wanted to get the money mother left for me"
"What?! Haven't they done enough?!" She yelled "How could she?!"
"Calm down, Jia. See, I'm not hurt" Arianna said to calm her down.
"I'm calling the police" Jia said and searched her bag for her phone
"No no, it's not necessary" Arianna grabbed her bag.
"What do mean it's not necessary?! She needs to be punished!"
"I know but... I don't think it's necessary anymore" Arianna said
"She's quite lucky I didn't meet her here or I would've done something she wouldn't like."

Jia looked at her friend. She know she's deeply hurt. She sat on the bed, taking Arianna's hand in hers, she cupped her cheek.
"Anna...." She called "You don't need to feel bad about everything that has happened. It wasn't your fault. None of this is...."
Tears brewed in Arianna's eyes again, ready to roll down. Her already puffy eyes were starting to get tired.
"That moron might have abandoned you, but aunt Amaya never did. I didn't, and mum didn't as well. So I don't want you to think you're alone. I want you to be strong. I want focus on your dreams and fight head-on. Show them what you're made of. I'm with you, always. Alright?"
Arianna nodded, tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Come here" Jia drew her close, envelope her in a hug. She rubbed her back and patted her head. Then her eyes fell on something. Arianna's suitcase. She pulled away, standing up, she walked to it.
"What is this?" She asked, A frown settled between her brows.
"I...I decided to leave and go to CEO Han's" Arianna replied.
Jia stared at her for a while "Goodness Anna, what is wrong with you?! How could you think of this?!" She yelled
"I don't want to leave here anymore " Arianna said with lowered eyes.
"Then come live with us. Everyone would be happy." Jia said
"No" Arianna declined "I don't want to be a burden to you"
"Who said you will?" She walked to her "Going to live there...is clearly accepting defeat"
"No it's not. I could work for him and earn some money"
"Anna, there a many ways to earn money. And this...is not an option."
"Jia please. I have to do this. And all I need is your support."
"No...no." Jia shook her head vigorously "There's no way I'm letting you go there"
"Jia please, it's just a matter of time, I'll get through this"

There was silence for a while before Jia broke it.
"Would you be okay?" She asked. She was finding it difficult to let Arianna go there. What if she gets hurt?
"I will. You don't have to worry." Arianna replied.
Jia let out a heavy sigh "Alright, you can go" she said "But! You have to be safe. Do not do anything that would anger him, you hear me?" Arianna nodded "Always have your meals, and always call. Do not ghost me"
"I wouldn't dare"Arianna grinned.
"I would miss you, cute bunny" Jia caressed her cheek.
"Me too" Arianna pouted her lips.
Both were at the verge of crying. They engaged in a hug, not wanting to let go of each other.
After a moment of silence.... "Did I tell you that I met him again?" Jia said out of the blue and they pulled away.
"Who?" Arianna asked.
"That cutie at the restaurant" she whispered.
"Really?" Arianna asked, surprised and Jia gave a nod. "How?"
Jia told her how it happened, looking into empty with a grin, she drooled.
"So why haven't you called him yet?" Arianna asked.
"I was so worried about you. I'll call him when I get home" she said and checked her bag. "Here's your phone" she handed it over.
"Oh, thank you. I thought I lost it" Arianna smiled.
"So tell me, how did you escape from the kidnappers?" Jia asked. She was so curious right now.
"Remember that time I told you I met Yohan and someone saved me?"
"Uh-huh, you mean a man?"
"Yes. A man. He saved me again"Arianna said.
"Wow.... that's heroic " Jia gave a tiny smile.
"Yeah.... he's mysterious. Somehow I thought he had golden eyes but they were black. And...the way he fought those men was..... breathtaking. I wasn't even able to detect his movements. And all of a sudden he was right in front me. And I still couldn't tell how that happened." She gave all the details while Jia listened carefully. "He's so.... strange and....cool" she smiled.
"He saved you twice, so I'm guessing he's your angel" Jia concluded.
"He said he was no angel."
Oh, she did say that to him.
"He said he was something far from that"
"If he's not an angel then... he's a demon" Jia blurted.
"A demon? Why would a demon save me?" Arianna exclaimed.
"Things happens" Jia shrugged
"He can't be a demon. I done agree with you. He's too handsome to be one." Arianna said as she smiled.
"Oh, he's handsome now?"
"You needed to see him"
"Alright then. Have you eaten? I'm starving." She pushed the topic aside.
"I haven't eaten yet. Let's go have lunch."
