Jia walked into a restaurant, looking extremely beautiful in her off-the-shoulder, red laced-trim, floral mini dress that reached her knees. With a golden belt around her belly. Her hair was tied in a right-parted ponytail, in length passing her scapula. With a one-side bang. Her black heels clanking on the floor. She looked breathtaking.
Her eyes wandered around in search for whom she was meeting with. Shin woo had his gaze steady on her, with his hand which held a glass, up in air.
Why is she so beautiful? This isn't the first time he had been lost her beauty. She really is gorgeous.
"Hey, Oh Jia" he called
Jia turned her eyes. With a smile, she walked to where he sat.
"Sorry, I'm late" she said, taking a seat opposite him.
"It's okay, I just got here " Shin woo said with a smile.
"Alright " she said, looking at the empty table "You haven't ordered yet?"
"How can I when you're yet to come." He said "Even if it would take forever, I would wait."
"Are you sure about that?"
"Maybe" he said and she chuckled .
"Waiter" Shin woo called and the waiter came by with menu in hand.
"We would like to have today's special" he said.
"Okay" the waiter said and left.
They went back to discussing. Laughing as they did so. It was like they've known themselves for many years. Their bonding was quite fast.

Ryan stood at the top of a building, with a sword in hand that sparkled in golden flames. Gold was always his demon colour due to his genetic makeup. He had been jumping roofs of hundreds of buildings, following the direction the pain his heart led him. Now here he is, standing beside a man's corpse which looked like one of those mommies.
Today, he was late. How could he not have been faster in his pace? No matter how fast he glided through the wind, he still came late.
He felt someone's presence behind him, but didn't turn to see who it was. Cold air coursing through his flesh.
"Hello, demon hunter " he heard a cold, somehow scary voice said. But that wasn't enough to scare him. "It's been a long while"
Demon hunter? Ryan smiled, turning around. And in front of him stood a demon in black, with red eyes. His hair was long up to his shoulder, and he somehow looked ancient though very young.
"That's quite a nice name to call me" Ryan said.
"Of course it is. Much more better than.... 'half breed', don't you think?"
"I like it." Ryan replied "Makes me feel cool"
"That's great. I'm glad you do" the demon said.
"Why did you take his soul?" Ryan went straight to the point, after a moment of silence.
"What makes you think I did that?" he asked
"Your skin glows. Making you look much younger....and stronger" Ryan said, not liking why he said it. He literally just praised him.
"I like the compliment. Thank you" he smirked.
Ryan gave a sly smile "If I were you, I would have taken souls of murderers, criminals or burglars. Why an innocent man?" He clenched his jaws "Even so I wouldn't let you"
"You know, it really doesn't matter. Innocent or guilty, it doesn't matter at all." He took a few steps to the edge.
"Taking humans' soul is quite a hobby. Besides we need it to fortify ourselves. Looks like the blood moon might be arriving soon."
Ryan clenched his teeth and the grip on the hilt of his sword tightened. More humans would die. He thought.
"Nice sword you've got there" the demon said with a smile.
"Why don't we get this over with?" Ryan said.
"An even fight would be nice" he smirked. Stretching his hand, his sword came flying and he caught it. It sparkled in red flames, just to tell Ryan he's not the only one having a glowing sword.
"Wow!" Ryan exclaimed in a low tone "I'm impressed" he said lazily.
"You should be. Because right here and now, I'll kill you and hang your head in front of your father's palace. He'll definitely die of the pain of loosing you. Then your half brother and sister would die as well. After their death, we could finally get the humans. It would a dream come true for me. I don't know about the others" he smirked "Waited so long for an opportunity like this to kill the almighty half breed with my own hands. I won't let it pass now."
Ryan on the other hand was fuming with rage with his fists clenched at the mention of his family. How badly he wanted to chop off this man's tongue for talking about how his family would die because of him. No one has the right to do that! What gave him the audacity to spout such nonsense?
With his teeth clenched, and his grip on the hilt tightened, Ryan attacked first, swinging his sword at him, and he defended every strike. The pressure in which Ryan flung his sword was so intense, it could knock a person off. But the demon was able to defend himself at ease. Their swords clanking continuously in air.
They fought for minutes, to half an hour, still none could defeat the other. Every movement was unpredictable. But during those times, the demon was able to detect and study Ryan's movements. Waiting for the perfect time to strike.
Now, the demon's sword was between his neck and Ryan sword. Ryan pushed harder on his sword, making the demon bend backwards on his waist. As he couldn't bare it anymore, he kicked Ryan's knee and pushed him with the pressure on his sword. Ryan staggered backwards and the demon attacked, his sword cutting through Ryan's chest at a single strike.
"Arrghh!" He groaned in pain, staggering backwards. The demon attacked again and Ryan tried to defend himself from every strike. Again, after much strikes, the sword cut through Ryan's arm. Blood wetting his clothes and dripping to the floor.
With heavy breaths, Ryan tried to attack him, but was kicked in his chest at that very cut. With the hilt of his sword, the demon struck him against his face, breaking his temple.
