Third POV
"And so it begins.." Sho mused to himself as he waited in the training ground for his instructor.
It had been a four days since he had arrived in Vatican, days which were spent with him being taught about the basic of Christianity.
And today was the day, his training as a exorcist was supposed to begin.
Training which would involve learning Exorcist skill such as Holy Magic, purification arts and in his case his Sacred Gear.
While Sho didn't have an idea fro how Exorcist skill could be, he had an idea for how he could use his Sacred Gear.
The fighting style of one Shirou Emiya and Gilgamesh could be a base templates for using his Sacred Gear within his fighting style.
For upclose he could try an replicate Shirou style with Blade Blacksmith, and he could replicate the King of Heroes to keep distance.
And depending on the limits of his Holy Sword Creation, he could tray a whole plethora of ideas from Fate and other works.
'In time I may be able to do so-' Sho's thoughts were interrupted as he felt a hand patting his head.
" And what might you be thinking with such a serious face, young man?"
Sho immediately turned towards the person, to see a middle-aged man with Black hair dressed in a cassock and a rosary around his neck.
"Ah, my apologies." Sho retreated backwards as the priest removed his hand from his head. "I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Ewald Cristaldi. Your instructor."
Sho eyes the man, who simply gave him a gentle smile, before introducing himself.
" I am Sho Saji or Saji Sho, however fells more comfortable to you."
"Young Sho it is then." The priest straightened himself as he looked as his newest apprentice. " From today onwards I will be responsible for teaching you the basic skill to be a exorcist till you get your assigned Guardian."
"Guardian?" Sho just tilted his head in confusion, not understanding what the priest meant. " Guardian as in my parents?"
"Well not exactly. Firstly, I will be teaching you the the basics of Exorcism and make sure you are are capable. And then you will be assigned to another exorcist, who will be like your partner till they think you can perform as an Exorcist on your own."
"Like school then. You teach me and this "Guardian" is my Exam for approval."
"You can term it like that." Ewald was impressed by Sho, for Sho was taking in the information he said better than most.
'Atleast he seems to have a good head, better than the rest.' Ewald recalled as his other apprentice asked half a dozen questions just for something like this.
"Well then before we begin, could you create a Holy Sword, a simple one."
Sho nodded his head, and started focusing to create the Holy Sword. Tugging on the same thing he felt when he had that panic attack.
Golden particle gathered around Sho hand taking the form of a simple sword.
All while Ewald watched in fascination, he had seen a few Blade Blacksmith user before he met Sho, but it never failed to fascinate him.

"May I?" Ewald asked as he extended his hand.
"Sure."
Taking the sword in his hand, Ewald swung the blade a few times.
'It certainly is better than the previous one's.' The Cardinal Deacon looked at the young man before recalling another user of Blade Blacksmith. 'And both of them are blondes.'
Sho looked at the Cardinal Deacon, swinging the blade as he chuckled to him.
" Tell me you haven't done any training or anything, have you?" Sho shook his head, he hadn't joined any of the Kendo or martial arts classes that were available.
"Well then, the side of the should be around one twenty five metres and one lap should be five hundred metres." Ewald muttered to himself, something that Sho didn't like. "Six laps should suffice."
A moment of silence ensued between the two, before the priest spoke.
"What are you waiting for? Get on with it six laps around the field." Ewald told the young man, looking straight into his eyes. " You told his Eminence that you had made your mind didn't you, get on with the training then."
'Maybe I made the wrong choice.'

"*Huff* No *Huff* More." Sho muttered with laboured breaths, as he lied on the ground.
Too tired from the hell, Ewald had put him through.
' I suppose it would make sense, all this training to become an Exorcist , but that doesn't mean my body likes it.' For a human to fight against supernatural, this sort of training should be required.
'And everything that he did today was just physical tort-, I mean training. Things like holy magic and else are still left.'
'The next few year are gonna be pa-'
"Cardinal Ewald put you through the ringer, didn't he?" A voice called out as he felt his cheeks being poked.
"Not again." Sho muttered as he looked at the person.
A handsome young man with blond hair, green eyes, and dressed in priest clothes.
'Wait don't tell me, he will be teaching holy magic and sacraments now?' Sho started to sweat as he denied that possibility.
"Don't worry I am not going to have you train more." The person said, causing Sho to feel relieved.
'Wait can he re read my mind?'
"Maybe." The priest? Said before bursting out in laughter. " *Pfttt* I am just kidding, I can't read your mind."
'Who is this guy?'
"My name is Dulio Gesualdo, an Exorcist, you can call me big brother Dulio." He introduced himself, chuckling as he looked at my expression. "What's yours?"
"Sho Saji."
"So you are the one from Japan, just like Seiko." He said as he placed his finger on his chin.
"Seiko? Wh-" Before he could complete his sentence, something sweet was placed in his mouth.
"Don't worry, it's just candy." Dulio gave him a smile as he explained what just happened.

An: The whole having a guardian thing is my head canon, though with some foundation to stand on. Most of the young exorcist that we know of have had a "Guardian" when a rookie.
Freed with David, Xenovia with Griselda, and maybe Irina with Touji.
And strictly speaking for humans to fight in the supernatural world where their main enemy is 5-10x stronger on average, this makes sense.
As for his teacher being Ewald, well every notable exorcist is supposed to have passed through him one point or the another, so a holy sword user is guaranteed to be one of his students.
