"Say, Rahu, are we really going to listen to that bitch? I'm sure there are more ways to condense a Vital Soul Core."
"Of course, we have no choice. I want to condense a Vital Soul Core, and besides a core disciple of the Divine Sword Sect, who else is qualified?" Rahu replied as he stored the scythe away. Lying down on the training grounds, he stretched his arms and relaxed.
"Y-you! Rahu, I'm saying this is too dangerous. What if that woman attacks?" Vivianne still didn't look convinced.
"And how are you going to convince her!? Heck, how are you even planning to meet her!? Do you even know how strong her parents are?!" Vivianne shot a series of questions at Rahu.
…
A few hours earlier
At the Essence Cauldron Peak…
"I will give my reply in a few days, and who is this female cultivator we are talking about?" Rahu asked.
"Her name is Azaria Ravencar, the sole daughter of Rahevira Ravencar. She is the only one who possesses the Celestial Frost Maiden Physique!" Seris said with a calm voice.
"D-daughter of Rhaevira Ravencar o-of the House Ravencar in the East!?" Vivianne visibly gulped; even her throat was straining to swallow the spit.
"You really put me in a tough spot here, Seris." Rahu shook his head and sighed. There was a difference between daring and foolishness. He wouldn't even know how he'd be severed before he attempts to go after her.
"...I know what I'm asking, but I really need that blood," Seris sighed. Rahu closed his eyes, weighing the pros and cons.
"...Do they have high detection techniques?" Rahu asked after a moment of thought.
"They do…but not advanced enough. As long as you don't leave your Mana signature, they would have difficulty in tracking you," Seris replied, her eyes shining a bit. His tone meant that she wasn't outright rejected!
"Alright, I will do it, but there are three conditions of mine alongside your promise of the condensation Vital Soul Core," Rahu smirked. No way he was going to miss this opportunity.
"...What are your conditions?" she asked, already having a bad feeling about this.
"First one, you prepare me pills, which I'll give you a list, and the amount will be 500 pills per month." Rahu smiled.
"W-what! Why don't you just rob me instead!?" Seris almost coughed up her essence blood, hearing the first condition.
"Hmph, I don't believe a Grade-3 alchemist couldn't refine that much. You can save that act for your best friend over there?" Rahu snorted in disdain, earning glares from the two women.
Paying them no mind, he raised his hand, "Second condition, teach me alchemy for the next four months—just the two of us, you can handle all the paperwork required."
Seris nodded. Though it would be a bit of a hassle, the task wasn't too difficult, and as for the paperwork? Who would dare confront her for teaching a disciple? Now that the two conditions were set, she suddenly felt nervous about the third condition.
The shameless bastard had already ripped off from her more than enough; the two conditions were more than enough a reward for that job. Including the materials and labour cost was...all from her pocket!
"So, what's the third condition?" she asked nervously, hearing that. A big grin spread across his across; it was unnatural and demonic.
Seeing that smile, Vivianne shook her head. The smile was more than enough to tell what this bastard had planned.
"You."
He said, pointing a finger at her sexy figure.
"W-what!? You bastard, do you even know what you're asking!?" Seris hissed, her face contorting in a rare moment of anger.
"Well? It's up to you, you know I am not forcing anyone here." Rahu shrugged, his smirk widening as he watched her struggle. One last push, and she would be his.
"But you already have Vivianne! Why do you need more?!" Seris said, her voice a bit loud and…shaky?
Hearing her words, a tremor ran through him. Did this bitch just say more? MORE!? ME? Her words struck a chord in Rahu. It felt like his locked physique buzzing in his brain.
His otherworldly violet orbs began to swirl, not a peaceful or loving one. But filled with an ancient, primordial intent. It froze both Vivianne and Seris.
He stood up, towering over Seris. He moved slowly, grabbed her neck, and pitched it. He looked down.
"Listen here, Seris, I am a greedy man…So greedy that everything born from The Infinity and everything that meets its end at The Nothingness. ALL OF IT will belong to me, you understand?"
The two stayed like that for a few seconds, and when he felt a small, quiet nod from Seris, he let go.
His eyes slowly returned to normal, but Seris was shaken—not frightened; this feeling was something else entirely. Vivianne was no exception; she was shaking a bit and moved to hug him.
Even Rahu didn't understand where that sudden overwhelming pride and arrogance had come so suddenly, but he didn't push her away.
Taking a deep breath, he regained his calm demeanor. It seemed he still had a long way to go for his physique…it seems there's something more to it than just [Dimensional Energy].
"I take your silence as a yes, and don't worry, you'll get that Virgin Yin blood in a few days."
Saying that he walked away hand in hand with Vivianne, Seris, still shaken, slowly regained her clarity.
Looking at Rahu's back, she muttered,
"Just…what was that?"
The thought of refusing his request didn't even cross her mind; she just…accepted.
…
Present,
Rahu went to his room and sat in a chair, seemingly lost in thought. Vivianne sat quietly beside him. That incident was still fresh in her mind, but seeing his face now, all her worries washed away.
"Vivianne, there's no time for brooding over our decisions. I have a plan, listen."
He opened his eyes and looked at Vivianne, who was still staring at his face. Hearing his words, she nodded.
"Go to Seris and ask for these things." Taking a pen and paper, he wrote a few items and handed them to Vivianne.
"And also, send Zira and Karma here." After a few more orders and exchanges of advice, Vivianne left her residence and went to look for Seris at the Essence Peak Cauldron. Again.
"Heh, A beauty with a physique? Just my taste," Rahu smirked as he heard the footsteps of Zira and Karma.
