She was both tired and hungry. After delivering the items to Stellan Sutton's room, she returned to her own room to take a shower.
After showering, she found her phone intending to order takeout to fill her stomach, when suddenly a WeChat message popped up.
"How have you been lately?"
Starry sky avatar, no note.
The previous message had been sent by her to that person.
"How bizarre is this person, taking several days to reply to a single message, and it's so random..."
Eve Sherman muttered in annoyance but still replied politely: May I ask who this is?
After waiting for a while, there was no further reply from the other side.
She felt a bit irritated, thinking about blocking him.
But then she thought, her personal number is never randomly added by strangers, could it really be someone she knows?
Just teasing her?
Really boring.
She shook her head helplessly, closed the chat window, and suddenly the doorbell rang.
Getting up to see, there was an attendant standing at the door with food, "Hello, this is room service sent by President Sutton."
Eve Sherman invited them in, dazed, looking at the steaming steak and red date porridge, she couldn't help but marvel at Stellan Sutton's keen observation.
He noticed she was hungry.
This kind of meticulous person doesn't even know his wife's clothing size.
Is that reasonable?
Could it be he's still angry about the last date, doing it deliberately?
Thinking of this, Eve Sherman suddenly lost her appetite.
She ate a bit randomly and slouched on the sofa video chatting with Zoe Sawyer and Wyatt Crawford.
"Eve, I'm complaining to you, this Sawyer says not to get close to men, but secretly finds a man!"
Zoe Sawyer nudged Wyatt Crawford, "I told you, it's just for fun, no need to take responsibility, no need to give anything!"
Wyatt Crawford shouted louder, "Then you just sleep with them without confirming any relationship, aren't you a player, a female scoundrel?! You, take care of your body!"
"I'm not sleeping with anyone, don't talk nonsense!"
Watching them squabble, Eve Sherman sighed helplessly, "Sawyer, anyway, take care of yourself, I think Wyatt Crawford isn't wrong."
They joked around for a while, and Eve Sherman felt a bit tired, said goodnight to them, freshened up briefly, and then lay down to sleep.
Before sleeping, she took out her phone to glance at the message from the stranger again, unable to recall who it was, she finally gave up.
The next morning, she got up, checked her luggage, and then returned to Ardane with Stellan Sutton.
Lucas waited outside the airport, "President Sutton, how was the business trip? Our Special Assistant Sherman accompanied you for the first time, did she perform well?"

Eve Sherman heard this, her heart skipped a beat, instinctively glanced at Stellan Sutton.
He couldn't drink, it was noted in Joshua Crawford's notebook before, but only marked as white wine. Yesterday at the drink table were red wines, hearing Stellan say it, she just withdrew without paying much attention.
No wonder he seemed to be in such discomfort later.
Stellan Sutton didn't say much more, leaned back in the car seat with closed eyes as Lucas quietly drove, not asking anything else.
Today, Stellan Sutton rested for the day, after dropping him off at his residence, Eve Sherman finally exhaled deeply.
"Tired, aren't you?" Lucas smiled at her knowingly, "Did you drink yesterday? President Sutton has too many social engagements lately, you better be prepared!"
Eve Sherman didn't mention she hadn't touched a drop of alcohol, feeling quite unsettled inside.
While Stellan Sutton is resting, she cannot; she needs to return to the company and organize Stellan Sutton's schedule. Just as she stepped into the office, she heard Liam Langdon in the secretary department speaking with a mocking tone, "See, wasn't I right? Eve Sherman barely started and she's already able to accompany President Sutton on a solo business trip!"
He emphasized the word 'solo', implying something unsaid.
Eve Sherman instinctively rushed over to argue with Liam Langdon but was stopped by Lucas.
"No worries, President Sutton will handle them, your position now isn't suited for fights. They're jealous of you becoming a special assistant, no matter what you do, they will always gossip."
Hearing this, Eve Sherman bit her lip and returned to the President's office amidst their snide comments.
