One Week later—
Wu Suo Wei stood in front of the mirror, adjusting his black suit for the hundredth time.
The wedding was small—just Chi Cheng's most trusted people and a few of Wu Suo Wei's friends (who were terrified but supportive).
No big ceremony, no public display...
Guo Cheng Yu walked in, looking sharp in his own suit. "Ready?"
"Nervous."
"Don't be. Chi Cheng looks like he's about to combust with impatience out there."
Guo Cheng Yu smirked. "Man's been possessive before, but this? This is a whole new level."
"Is that supposed to make me feel better?"
"It should. He loves you. More than anything.
& more than his own life." Guo Cheng Yu's expression turned serious. "I've known Chi Cheng for fifteen years. I've never seen him like this. You've changed him. Made him want more than just survival."
Wu Suo Wei felt his eyes sting. "He's changed me too."
"Good. You're good for each other." Guo Cheng Yu squeezed his shoulder. "Now come on. If we make him wait any longer, he might storm in here and drag you to the altar himself."
The ceremony was held in the mansion's main hall, decorated simply but elegantly in black and silver.
But Wu Suo Wei only had eyes for Chi Cheng.
His soon-to-be-husband stood at the front, looking devastating in a black suit that emphasized his dangerous elegance.
His eyes locked onto Wu Suo Wei the moment he appeared, and the intensity in them made Wu Suo Wei's breath catch.
As Wu Suo Wei walked down the aisle, Chi Cheng's expression was pure possession—
When Wu Suo Wei reached him, Chi Cheng immediately grabbed his hand, pulling him close.
"You look beautiful," Chi Cheng murmured.
"And you're about to be legally mine."
"Possessive until the end," Wu Suo Wei whispered back.
"Actually I'm only for you babe."
The ceremony was brief. Wu Suo Wei barely heard the officiant's words, too focused on Chi Cheng's burning gaze.
When it came time for vows, Chi Cheng went first.
"Wu Suo Wei," Chi Cheng's voice was rough with emotion. You saved my life, and then you gave it meaning. Before you, I existed. Survived & Fought. But I didn't live. You taught me what living feels like. What love feels like.
What having something worth protecting feels like.
He slid the wedding band onto Wu Suo Wei's finger, next to the engagement ring.
"I vow to protect you. To love you. To give you everything I have and everything I am. You're mine, and I'm yours. No matter what comes, no matter who tries to tear us apart—I'm yours. Completely."
Wu Suo Wei's voice shook as he spoke his own vows.
"Chi Cheng... you terrified me at first. Your intensity, your possessiveness, your world. But you also showed me what it means to be loved, To be someone's entire world."
He slid the wedding band onto Chi Cheng's finger.
"I vow to love you. To stand by you. To be your partner in this beautiful life we've built, and I'm yours only. ."
"You may—"
Chi Cheng didn't wait. He pulled Wu Suo Wei into a kiss that was rough,
Wu Suo Wei melted into it, not caring about their audience.
When they finally broke apart, Chi Cheng's eyes were blazing.
he growled. "My husband."
Wu Suo Wei breathed. "Your husband."
The small crowd erupted in applause, but Wu Suo Wei barely heard it.
All he could focus on was Chi Cheng—his husband—and the dark promise in his eyes.
He knows Tonight was going to be intense...
Wu suo wei feared... Looking at chi cheng's eyes....
