Regina's POV
A beeping sound entered my ears. A splitting headache made me groan out loud.
"Babe? You're awake, finally." My man's soothing voice called me down.
I tried multiple times and finally opened my eyes. "Where are we?" I asked without looking around.
"We are at the hospital, you fainted." He said with a clip tone. His eyes held so much fear. Sam, who is a strong and tough man, looked worn out.
"Are you okay?" I placed my palm on his cheek.
"I'm better now that you're up. I almost ran crazy when you were not moving in my arms."
"I'm sorry, what even happened?"
He just clears his throat and doesn't answer me. Like a movie everything came to me. My brother, Tiny, is gone.
I choked on a sob and the headache just got worse.
"Babe, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. Please don't be too hard on yourself."
"I can't help it. I caused this."
"No, stop, you had no choice or he would have died."
"Then I should have been much more careful. He saw what he shouldn't have."
