Elena's POV
Today will be the day that Harper will be resuming work here. I was excited and even baked some cookies for her. I was hoping she will make good friends with Rosalyn too.
Ryan has left to work while Rosalyn and I are still working from home. Zach has been sending me my tasks online and I've been able to do them. He is the new head of the accounts department and we have been working pretty well together.
I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in."
The door was pushed open and it was Harper that stepped in. Her face was mostly covered as expected.
"Good morning, Ma'am." She said with an empty tone. I feel like she is hurting, I heard about the accident and how it affected her badly.
I gave her a radiant smile. "I'm not Ma'am. That makes me sound like an old woman. Call me Elena."
"I can't, maybe Miss Elena will work better?"
"Fine, that's better. So what do you have for me today?" I asked, clapping my hands together.
"Follow you around?" She answered uncertainly.
