Monday, a new day, a day that all Hogwarts students look forward to.
Today was Professor Jack's second combat magic lesson, and everyone had been looking forward to it for a long time.
After all the students arrived, they discovered that none of the professors in the front row had come.
Last time, everyone came, but this time not a single one showed up, as if it had been pre-arranged.
Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle were discussing how to show off their superiority during Thursday's flying lesson and how to properly humiliate Harry Potter and his bumbling friend Ron.
Just then, out of the corner of his eye, Malfoy noticed an extra person on the podium. Upon closer inspection, he recognized Jack.
He quickly shut his mouth and nudged Crabbe and Gore with his arm. The two of them also noticed Jack and shut their mouths.
Soon, the entire hall fell silent.
Jack's sudden appearance surprised all the students, who had no idea that the professor had arrived.
Jack appeared but did not speak; he simply watched them quietly.
This made the students' hearts sink. Could it be that they had angered Professor Jack by talking too much?
A minute had passed, and Jack still hadn't spoken, only staring down below.
Suddenly, the hall doors opened, and a group of people filed in.
The person leading the group was Headmaster Dumbledore, whom all the students knew, while the people next to him looked somewhat familiar.
He was short and stout, with a head of messy gray hair.
He wore a pinstripe suit, a bright red tie, a long black cloak, purple pointed boots, and a dark green top hat.
He is none other than the current Minister of Magic, Fudge!
Headmaster Dumbledore was followed by Hogwarts professors, while Fudge was followed by high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Magic.
Eden and Gadli were among them!
"My God, it's the Minister of Magic!"
An older student recognized Fudge and exclaimed in surprise.
The classroom immediately erupted into chaos as everyone began to discuss the matter.
"What?! He's the Minister of Magic?!"
"A top figure in the magical world! I never thought I'd see him at school one day!"
"Why is the Minister of Magic here? Is he also here to listen to Professor Jack's lecture?"
"Is Professor Jack really that amazing? Even the Minister of Magic has to learn from him!"
All the students looked at Jack with intense fervor. Even the Minister of Magic had to learn this, and now he was teaching them.
Doesn't this further prove how powerful Jack's combat magic is?
All the students secretly resolved that they could skip learning other magic, but they were determined to learn combat magic!
Jack looked at the group from the Ministry of Magic, raised an eyebrow, and had a feeling that they were up to no good.
Dumbledore had told him in the morning that the Ministry of Magic was coming to observe his lectures. Jack didn't want to pay attention to them; if they wanted to listen, they could come, it didn't matter.
However, Dumbledore wanted to wait until everyone from the Ministry of Magic arrived before starting the lesson, and out of respect for Dumbledore, Jack agreed.
But he hadn't expected so many people to show up! Had the entire Ministry of Magic been mobilized?
Fudge sized up the young man in front of him. He was even younger than he had expected, and it was hard to imagine that he had invented the battle magic.
Whether Jack truly possesses this ability or someone else has pushed him forward remains to be seen.
He glanced discreetly at Dumbledore and led his men to sit in the front row.
Fudge sat next to Eden, who was even more curious about Jack's existence than Fudge.
As a professional who studies spells, he knows how difficult it is to invent spells, which is why he repeatedly questions Jack.
Even his suggestion to attend this lecture came at his suggestion.
He had only planned to bring a few subordinates with him, but Fudge actually brought most of the high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Magic.
Why does it feel like Fudge values this matter more than I do?
Eden looked at Jack, arms crossed, and said, "I want to see if your combat magic is real or fake."
Seeing everyone take their seats, Jack ignored the higher-ups in the Ministry of Magic and began today's lesson directly.
"Before we begin, let me ask you all: are you all familiar with the twelve hand gestures?"
All the students said in unison, "We've got it!"
Jack nodded. "Very good. I'll randomly select a few students to test. If they perform well, they can add one point to their college! Conversely, if they perform poorly, they will lose one point!"
Jack scanned the entire hall. Some people looked up and met his gaze, as if to say, "Hurry up and choose me."
Some people, however, avoided eye contact, afraid of being called upon.
Some people even lowered their heads and acted like quails, practically muttering, "Don't call me."
Jack first looked at Gryffindor. Hermione looked eager to try, Harry held his head high with confidence, while Ron's eyes were somewhat evasive.
Ron noticed Jack's gaze and became somewhat flustered.
"Ron! You'll have to demonstrate the results of your studies in place of Gryffindor!"
