Chapter 68 - [68] - I Want To Go

"Grandpa Luke, Grandma Sansa, we've come to see you!"

As soon as the car door opened, Nia ran out like the wind and threw herself into Luke's arms.

"Long time no see, Nia. How have you been since school started?"

"Not good, school is so boring," Nia pouted, complaining. "I want to go to Hogwarts for school."

"Nia isn't old enough yet, you still have to wait two more years," Luke said comfortingly, then looked up at Herb and Daisy. "Let's talk inside."

Sansa looked at her granddaughter and asked, "Nia, have you missed me?"

"Grandma Sansa, I've missed you so much." Nia threw herself into the old woman's arms, making Sansa giggle.

"Albert sent things back by owl, I think…" Herb began, but Luke cut him short.

Luke looked up, scanned his surroundings, and then looked back at Herb and Daisy, reminding them, "Whatever it is, let's talk about it inside."

"Albert also sent us some things by owl, we were just looking at them!" After entering the house, Sansa smiled and said to Herb and Daisy, "I never thought the drinks wizards drink would taste so strange."

"Don't leave your cat in the car," Luke turned and reminded Herb.

"I have him," Daisy said, carrying the cat carrier into the house and closing the door behind her.

In the living room, Shera was resting on the table, eating owl nuts Albert had left in a box.

Tom, just released from his cage, jumped onto the table and glared at the owl, both poised as if ready for a fight.

"Stop that, Tom," Daisy reached out, picked him up, and placed him on her lap.

"These are also things Albert sent back," Herb said, placing the large box on the table, his gaze falling on the open box beside it.

"You still don't know your son," Daisy glanced at Herb. "Even if you forget, he won't."

Albert had always been Daisy's pride.

What, other people's children are good? Nonsense—who said that? How could other people's children be as good as one's own?

"But where did Albert buy these things? Didn't he go to that Hogwarts school?" Sansa was puzzled; the school certainly wouldn't sell these things.

"He probably used owl post order," Herb explained. He knew how capable Albert was; it wasn't his first time shopping through owl post from Diagon Alley in London.

"Can I open the package now?" Nia asked impatiently.

"Of course," Herb said with a smile.

The package had only arrived that morning. However, after discussing it with his family, Herb decided to share this joy with his parents, so the family hurried over by car.

Inside the package was a rolled-up parchment tied with a red ribbon, and beside it a paper bag labeled "Photos." Beneath them were several bottles of drinks and some snacks.

Nia picked up the paper bag, opened it, and found it filled with photos Albert had taken, with numbered labels on the back of each.

The first photo was of the red Hogwarts Express.

"Parchment and photos, we have them here too," Sansa said, handing the stack of photos to Daisy. She picked up the parchment and explained, "Albert said this is the Hogwarts Express, used to take children to Hogwarts for school."

"I never thought wizards would take a steam train to school?" Daisy picked up a photo and examined it carefully, then couldn't help but complain, "You probably can't find such an old antique anywhere in Britain anymore."

Saying that, Daisy handed the photo to her husband and took a bottle of pumpkin juice out of the box.

"It looks like it should be a drink." She opened the pumpkin-shaped lid on the glass bottle, poured some into a cup, and took a small sip.

"How is it?" Herb asked.

"The taste is a bit strange." Daisy poured the remaining pumpkin juice into other cups, distributing it to the family.

Nia took her cup, sipped, and wrinkled her little face. "This juice tastes so strange, it doesn't feel as good as the juice sold outside."

After Herb finished drinking, he blinked and said, "It's not bad, but the taste is indeed very strange."

"I almost forgot this taste." Luke's eyes showed a nostalgic look, and he sighed softly.

Nia finished her pumpkin juice, pointed to the butterbeer in the box, and said, "I want to drink this!"

"But this seems to be… beer." Daisy looked at the word "butterbeer" on the label, conflicted; she didn't want her daughter drinking at this age.

"It's okay, we just drank this. It's not like beer and doesn't have much alcohol, it's more like a drink—otherwise Albert wouldn't have sent it back." Luke gently reassured her. "It tastes a bit like a less greasy butterscotch candy."

Luke poured some of the freshly opened butterbeer for Herb and Daisy, letting them taste it first to decide whether to give it to Nia.

"It really has a strong buttery aroma," Daisy sniffed, took a small sip, and found the texture smooth.

"It says here that butterbeer is very popular in the wizarding world, like soda here. While it's not bad, it also tastes a bit strange."

"Why do wizards like to drink this stuff?" Nia pouted, taking another sip.

"Drink less, there's still a trace amount of alcohol in it," Daisy reminded her.

"At least let me finish the butterbeer in my cup." After Nia drank the rest, her interest in wizarding drinks greatly diminished.

"There's only a trace amount of alcohol in it. As long as you don't drink too much, even minors can drink it without any problem," Herb reassured, but after being glared at by his wife, he obediently shut up. He knew Daisy cared deeply about her children's education.

The other items in the box were also taken out and placed on the table; the rest were snacks bought for Nia.

Nia opened a chocolate frog, took a bite, and seemed to be deep in thought.

Daisy untied the ribbon and handed the rolled-up parchment to Herb, asking him to read the letter.

This letter provided a very detailed introduction to Hogwarts Castle.

From the first-year students crossing the lake to passing through the oak doors of Hogwarts Castle, entering the Great Hall for the Sorting Ceremony, the letter gradually unveiled Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to them.

The enchanted ceiling, the entrance to the kitchen below the Great Hall (surprisingly hidden behind a fruit painting), talking portraits in the corridors, and the moving staircases.

The castle also had various magical secret passages, mischievous staircases, ghosts residing in the castle, suits of armor that walked, classrooms for lessons, long corridors, and the Fat Lady, guardian of the Gryffindor common room.

Entering the Gryffindor common room, reaching their dormitories via the stairs, and meeting his three roommates.

This six-foot-long letter meticulously introduced Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to the Anderson family, combined with the map and photographs, making it feel as if they had personally visited Hogwarts Castle.

Nia leaned on Daisy's shoulder and mumbled, "I want to go too!"
