The second and final day of the exam.
The atmosphere is still similar to the first day. Plus, Some students already have a plan after the exam.
The Sutimat's sibling is with Chompoo as usual.
"Wanna hang out after the exam?"
Chompoo asked. Beam told her she'll go with her classmate, As for Boom he said he might just stay home.
"Why not go with P'Tar?"
"Nah, I don't want to interrupt I'Poo"
"Good for you, buddy"
Chompoo and Boom walk to their line. But they accidently met up with Lifa.
"Hey there, Lifa"
"Hey"
"Why don't you go to the line?"
"I can't find it, There's a lot of people here"
Lifa spoke while turning to look at the army of a thousand students. Even a long-timer can easily get lost if they aren't focused for a bit.
"Follow me"
"O…K"
"How can you possibly find our line?"
"I'm not that forgetful, you idiot. I can now remember all of our classmate"
"Holy shit, that's dope"
Boom led the way, followed by Chompoo and Lifa. The 3 of them walked through the crowd. Boom had a funny thought that if someone threw a bomb here, He would get a lot of kills.
Jokes aside, Now the 3 of them have arrived at line of class 4/7.
After the ceremony, It's time for an exam.
Luckily there's still some time left to prepare. Most of the students bring out their book to read one final time before the exam. Including Lifa.
"What're you reading?" Asked Boom.
"Science, I'm not so good at this subject so I need to read it a lot"
"You aiming to be a top dog?"
Boom joking around while bringing out a manga to read. But Lifa made a dull expression and replied 'Not just aiming, But I'll definitely be there'.
Although he is still wondering why Lifa makes that kind of expression. But Boom doesn't want to dig too deep into that. So he chose to remain silent.
When it's time for an exam, Everyone starts walking into the examination room in unison.
First subject is Science. Which is really hard but Boom did his best.
The next subject is Music/Art/Dance. These 3 subjects were combined to be done in the same session.
"O…K"
During lunch break, Boom along Tar and Chompoo go outside to find something to eat because there were too many people in the school cafeteria.
The 3 of them stop at the Egg Noodle stall. While they eat comfortably. Boom phone is ringing.
When he checked it, it was Beam who texted him.
'What?' Boom reply.
'P'Lifa asked me if you want to go anywhere. If you finished the exam' Beam answered.
'No, I'll go home. Why?'
'She said she want to treat you a Moo kratha***'
***Thai barbeque buffet
'For real?'
'Yeah, At uncle Tom place'.
At first, Boom didn't want to go. But as soon as he heard a word treat, He immediately agreed to go.
'Can I'Tar and I'Poo come too?'
'She said she want you to come alone'
Huh? Alone? That mean Lifa wants to eat moo kratha with him? Although he was secretly worried. But Boom didn't have moo kratha for a while. It won't hurt to go for a bit.
"What's wrong, I'Boom?"
"Nothing. The game server just go under maintenance"
Boom answered while slurping his soup. The reason he's lying is because he doesn't want to get bullied by Tar.
After lunch, It's now time for an afternoon exam.
Everything seems to be normal. Although the exam gave everyone a little bit of headaches, overall it was not a problem.
Boom walked out from the examination room to get some fresh air. Outside, there's a lot of students who are celebrating and those who admit their defeat on the test.
"Boom"
The sudden calls from Lifa made everyone around him whether boys or girls turn and look at him with piercing eyes.
"What?" Boom, try to act calm as much as possible.
"See you at a restaurant"
That word made gossip erupted. Then Lifa just walked away. Tar rushed to help Boom who are not good at dealing with this type of situation.
Both of them head to a garden behind a school nurse office for Boom to catch a breath.
"What in the actual fuck just happen? What did Lifa say to you?"
"Nothing…"
"Nothing, My ass. If not, then why do the people around you just start gossiping?"
Tar put a pressure on Boom to make him spill the beans. Tar know that if Boom continues to be like this, he would be in trouble.
"Lifa just invited me to eat moo kratha with her, that's it"
"…Which restaurant?"
"Uncle Tom restaurant"
"Holy shit! That's a fucking big deal!"
"Why?"
Boom tilted his head out of curiosity. Tar then proceeds to grab both of his shoulders and stare him right into the eyes.
"Have you heard about the legend of that place?"
"No…"
"Damn it…There's a legend that if someone of the opposite sex invites you to that restaurant alone in the evening and go sit at table number 7…"
"What a long story"
"Both of them will end up as a couple!"
"…..What?"
"What, My ass! Maybe the daughter of Mr.Dome is in love with you!"
'Oh shit oh shit' Tar is very exciting. But Boom seems to really care that much other than free food.
Boom did not believe in that kind of stuff to begin with. Plus, he just knows Lifa for a short time. She definitely wouldn't do something like that.
"But you seem to believe in luck while summoning on a gacha banner. It's the same thing!"
When he gets that attitude from Tar. That just left Boom speechless.
"Whatever, I'm leaving"
"Do your best there buddy"

Boom walked away while replying to Tar's words.
The moo kratha restaurant is not that far from school if you travel via a vehicle. But you still can go by foot, it just feels a little far away.
After parking his bike. Boom stood and waited in front of the restaurant because he's not brave enough to go alone.
"Boom"
A voice of a familiar girl calls him. When he turned to look, he saw Lifa in a school uniform that when he looked closely, it matched her very well. It also attracts the eyes of those around very well.
"Won't you go in?"
"…I was waiting for you"
"Well then, Let's just get in"
Both of them walk into the restaurant, And somehow the waiter has led them to table number 7.

He looks at Lifa, She's still calm. Looks like she doesn't know anything about the legend at all. Boom himself didn't want to think too much about it, So he just let it pass.
The people are staring at them with curiosity. But Lifa didn't seem to care but Boom isn't good with this type of situation.
"So…Why did you invite me?"
After sitting down, Boom immediately ask the point of this meeting.
"Nothing…Just want to thanks you for saving Nelly"
Nelly? Oh, That cat. It's been some time since it happened. Boom thinks there's no need to go this far just to thank him. But he didn't say any of that because he just wanted to get free food.
"That's Ok, It just a single cat"
"….Yeah"
Lifa answered shortly. Boom immediately realized that he accidentally said something that should not have been said.
"That…It's not just a cat, right?"
"Maybe"
She answered and walked over to the buffet. Boom still curious about that Lifa was talking about just now, So he decided to light the grill and wait for her to comeback.
Not long after, Lifa returned with a sliced pork and some vegetables. She put it down and spread the pork lard on the stove.
"Boom, Can I ask you something?"
"Go ahead"
"What do you think of Nelly as a cat?"
What the heck was that question? Boom wanted to know why she asked. But he needed to answer her question first.
"Well…She's a good cat. Can easily get along with strangers. She may be on guard when I'm wearing my helmet. But when I removed it, She just act normally"
"Um…She keeps asking for you"
"For real? You should let her visit me sometimes"
"The problem is she didn't like to go outside"
"….So I have to pay her a visit-"
Suddenly, Boom realized something.
If Nelly hates to go outside, Then why was she in the forest in the rain that day?
"What happened in your house that day?"

Lifa lowered her head and placed a hand on her forehead. As if she still suffered from a painful memory.

He heard a soft sobbing sound from her. Boom tries his best to calm her down even though it's not something he's good at.
"Sorry"
She said with tears, and picked up a glass of water and drank it.
"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. Just don't forced yourself"
Boom said while gently patting her head. Lifa slowly regained her consciousness and used her delicate hands to hold Boom's hand.
"I'm not forcing myself. I just don't know how to tell you"
"C'mon, it's ok. If you have something you're uncomfortable with, Just tell me"
Those gentle words caused a smile to appear on her face.
"Thank you, I'll definitely tell you someday"
"Until that time, I'll try my best to squeeze it out from you"
Finished talking, Boom patted Lifa's head lightly twice before getting up and getting more food.
"….The hell just happened?"
5 tables away from them. Beam and Chompoo, who secretly followed, muttered like that. They both could clearly see their movement and expressions. But the only problem is the sound can't be heard clearly because it is far away, plus there is other noise interfering.
"Did she get rejected?" Beam asked.
"I don't think so. If she really got rejected, She wouldn't happily smile like that"
"You're right. Damn, I forgot to put a listening device on him"
"You don't have to go that far, Y'know?"
2 girls continue their spying while eating their moo kratha for the sake of blending.
A while has passed. Boom returned with a fruit plate and plate full of seafood.
"You like watermelon right?"
"huh?...How did you know?"
"I saw you buy this everyday, that's it"
"…..Stalker"
"Stalker, my ass. Do you want it or not?"
"I want it"
Lifa quickly grabs a watermelon plate and eats it gratefully.
And both of them continue to eat their moo kratha. Boom, eat it with joy because it's a free gift from Lifa.
