Several days after the mid-term exam.
Everything looks completely normal. The students seem to enjoy their vacation.

"Yo, I'Boom"
A male student calls him out while Boom's on his phone. So he just turned and replied 'what?'.
"Did you go to eat moo kratha with Lifa on Friday?"
"Who told you that?"
"I heard it from class 4/8"
"Son of a bitch…"
What a surprise. Boom knows for sure he'll get asked because he chose to eat at a restaurant that's popular with students. Now, all that's left is whether this guy will ask about table number 7 or not.
"So, Did you go to that place or not?"
"I did it, what about it?"
"Goddamn, Lucky bastard"
The male student slammed his elbow into Boom's shoulder. He knows how lucky he is but he doesn't know which part is considered lucky.
The part where he's alone with a magnate's daughter or the part where he gets to eat free food.
"What happened next?"
"What? I just went home after finished eating"
Boom gave him a funny answer on purpose.
"No, you idiot! I meant after that!"
"What after what!?"
"Did you 2 become lovers or not!?"
The shout drew the attention of the entire class to Boom. He needed to do something with this situation because the person who always saved his life and his sweetheart were dating outside.
And the method he'll use is…
"The hell you up to? Why in the world should I be her boyfriend?"
"Didn't you guys sit at table number 7?"
"I don't know, I didn't see the table number. Also, even if I did sit at that table, why would I have to be her boyfriend?"
Act stupid.
Don't know what the other is thinking. But this method is the best for him, but not every time. He needs to think before he uses this trick every single time.
"Wait wait wait, Do you know about the legend of table number 7?"
"What legend?"
As he expected that this guy would talk about that legend of table number 7. To be fair, Boom did not think about any of that when he eat because he was enjoying the food. But when he returned to his home, Beam began to spam her question to the point where Boom had to run away.
"You seriously don't know or you just act stupid?"
"I legit don't know"
"Whatever"
He gave up and walked away. All the classmates have lost interest in him. Boom let out a long sigh of relief.
At first, Boom was a little nervous when he spoke because he didn't know if Lifa was secretly listening or not. But when he looked around he felt relieved again because he didn't find Lifa.
It's not anything special. Boom was just afraid to hurt Lifa's feelings.
During lunch break, Boom and Tar went out to buy food and came back to eat in the school.
"I heard that you got questioned about yesterday?"
Tar asked while he's eating a watermelon in such a weird way that it made Boom choke on the fried dumpling.
"Y- Yeah"
"You ok? Can you handle it on your own?"
"Yeah I can you shithead, I'm more proud than getting a first place in exam"
"Damn boi"
While they were talking, Beam and Chompoo arrived with fried meatballs in their hands.
Both of them looked at Boom and then turned back quickly.
"…What's the matter?"
" "Nothing" "
'The hell did you do?' Tar asked but Boom too had no idea what he did. When I tried to ask, the girls just scolded him.
"The fuck is wrong with you two? What the hell did I do?"
"Should we tell him, Sis?"
"Yeah, Just tell him"
At this point, Boom still had no idea what they're talking about until the girls decided to tell the truth.
"The truth is… we followed you to the restaurant"
"And?"
"We saw all of your action"
That word from Chompoo made Boom sweat. That meant they must've seen when Lifa cried and when he gave her a head pat.
Staying silent is the best option for now.
"Bro, Did you make her cry?"
God fucking dammit.
"I'Boom?" Even Tar is looking at him with a suspicious expression.
"I did not do that, She cried because of herself"
"Really? Then, Why would she even cry in the first place?"
Boom hesitate for a second before answering.
"I don't know about the detail but apparently she have a problem with her parent"
"So, she uses you as a place to vent her anger?" Chompoo asked.
"Barely, Good thing she can control her emotion or else there'll be a problem"

Since Beam is staring this much, Boom had no choice other than answer the truth. Because as far as he can remember, during that time Lifa almost entered a mental breakdown phase, But good thing Boom managed to stop it.
"So…Why did she invite you?"
"She just wanted to thanks me for saving her cat"

The 3 of them spoke in unison, so Boom had to quickly explain how important Nelly was to Lifa. Or else they would be accused of doing more than necessary.
"In conclusion, there ain't shit?"
"Yeah, Why the hell are you supposed to date a person I've known for less than half a year?"
"You said it without considerate the couple that sit next to us"
He meant Tar and Chompoo, because these two became lovers after talking with each other for only a month.
Till this day, Boom still had no idea how the hell they did that. They might already hooked up with each other.

There are 2 ways to view this, Either by looking at the boards posted in the hallways in the school building or by looking at the school website.

"Are they here to buy the concert ticket or something?"
At the front of the teacher's room at building 1, many of the students are waiting to retake the exam with seriousness. Boom and Tar, who were walking by, saw it and couldn't hide their shock.
The funny thing is the teachers are always missing in this kind of situation, it's like a curse or something. And especially if it was a final exam, even a janitor is missing too.
Boom and Tar continue to walk back to their class.
"How's your score, I'Boom?"

Logged into the school website and went to the academic result page.
"Uh…Thai,English,Science,Religion,P.E,Health education and Home economics. I passed! I only failed math and Chinese"

*swap* Tar carefully read all of Boom's results and couldn't believe his eyes.
"Shit! I failed Science and English"

"I doubt he'll know, It's different teacher after all"

While they're arguing, Lifa approaches them and greets them politely.
"Hi, Lifa"
"Sup, How's your score?"
"Here"
Lifa showed her result without any hesitation.
"….You passed, And got a lot of perfect score"
"Goddamn, you're good"
"That's nothing much"
She says with a neutral expression like it's nothing to her. That's definitely not the type of reaction you would get from a person who got a perfect score.
"How much energy drink did you drink?" Asked Tar
"Huh? Uh…none"
"Buying your own product, You gotta be kidding me right now" Boom reply
"What about you guys?" Now Lifa's turn to ask
"I failed Math and Chinese"
"Science and English for me"
"How the heck did you pass it, Tar? That test is fucking hard"
"I have no idea"
"Well…Sorry to hear that"
Yeah, Boom answered shortly before asking for every teacher phone number from Lifa. Because she's literally asked every single teacher for their phone number, she is a great help in this kind of emergency.
15:30p.m, After receiving all the work, Boom and Tar went home separately.
Looks like Beam went back home before him. Now Boom will be able to fully have fun with his bike.

On the way, He accidently ran into Lifa again.
"You're going home?"
"Yeah, I'm leaving"
They often ran into each other when they started to get used to it.
"So, What will you get"
"? Say again?"
"Do you get anything from passing this exam?"
Boom said it casually. But when he looked at Lifa's face. She instead had a sad expression on her face before saying 'No' and walked away.

Boom now realizes that he must have said something bad.

Boom headed to the parking lot, started its engine and drove off. While driving, Lifa's car passed in front of him.
The word 'No' probably meant that Lifa didn't receive any rewards for being on top of the exam like this. So, Boom thought that he might give her a little surprise.
Because he believes that people who put in this much effort should be rewarded after all.
So he stopped by the mall to find something good.
A high school boy walking into a doll shop alone would be a big no-no, So Boom tried to avoid it as much as he could.

Next shop is a nearby souvenir shop. But it seems like it doesn't have anything interesting so he decided to leave.

Boom keeps wandering around in the mall but still can't find anything good, until suddenly he comes up with something.

After deciding Boom went to buy it and took a quick ride to Lifa's house(Which was like going home itself).
When he arrived at her home, Boom stood nervously for a few minutes before ringing a bell.

Not long after, a man in his mid-50's dressed as a butler, walked out to greet him at the gate.
"Mr.Neighbor, How may I help you?"
His words were definitely those of someone who had worked as a butler for all of his life. It makes Boom even more nervous.
"Uh…Is Lifa in the house, sir?"
"As of now, Miss is currently studying in her house. Do you have any business with her?"
"oh uh, I have a gift for her, sir"
"Is that so? Then, Please come inside"
"…Yes sir"
The butler led Boom into the spacious living room. Now he had the feeling of being in a castle of a royal family in a fairytale .
If he remembers correctly, Lifa told Boom that she had around 2-3 maids in her house.
"Boom?"
He heard a familiar voice, but this time he turned without saying a thing.
What he sees is Lifa in a short-sleeved pink-t-shirt. A knee-length pants give off a comfortable feeling, but Boom is now seriously uncomfortable.
"…Hi"
"What's wrong? Why did you come here?"

Lifa took a seat and poured tea for Boom. When Boom drinks it, he feels a little relaxed before handing the paper bag next to him.
"This is?"
"You didn't get any rewards for doing well on the exam, right?"

Her pink eyes blinked. Boom then told her to open it.
When she opened as Boom said. She found a rectangle-shaped box with a good wrap.
Lifa opened it and found that it was a box with 12 chocolates inside.
"For me..?"
"Yeah, You can eat it if you want"
"Not now…..?"
While about to get up, she noticed something at the bottom of the box.
"I bought that for Nelly, she might love it"
Boom said, covering his blushing face with hands. But when he glanced at Lifa. He saw her hugging them tightly.
"Thank you…"
She say with sobs.
"No problem, You like it?"
"Yeah…Really like it"
Lifa say with sobs again, then reached out to give Boom a pat.
"Hey…"
"We're even now"
It probably means when Boom gave her a pat when they went to eat moo kratha together. He secretly smiled.
"This is a really special gift to me"
That bombing word with a smile like that almost gave Boom a heart attack. So he asked to leave.
"See you"
"…Yeah, See ya"
