Summer had no intention of continuing the act.
"It's time he knows the truth," she said firmly. "How long do you plan to keep this from him? When he finds out you hid it, he'll be furious. He'll feel betrayed. Can you handle that disappointment in his eyes?"
"Y-you…" Georgea bristled, her face tightening.
"His memory could return at any moment," Summer interrupted calmly. "In a month. In a week. Even tomorrow. When that happens, are you ready to face his wrath?"
Georgea fell silent. The thought had never crossed her mind. She had only wanted to protect Adrian, to prevent anything from worsening his fragile state. But in doing so, she hadn't considered that she was misleading him.
"What if the truth agitates him?" she asked uneasily.
