Fifteen minutes after Kyle opened Arcane's phone, Julian suddenly arrived at the pub to look for him. As soon as he entered, he saw his husband asleep with his head resting on the table.
Not only that man, but the other teachers were also passed out from drunkenness.
"It turns out that at school the teachers seem good, but behind the scenes they're pretty crazy too. No offense, but there's nothing wrong with relaxing," he muttered, then tried to wake Arcane up.
"Hey! Wake up! It's time to go home!" Julian patted Arcane's cheeks, but he was already fast asleep.
That left him with no choice but to help him home by guiding him along. At first, Julian was confused. Where was Kyle, the man who had sent a message earlier to pick up Arcane?
"Did he go home first? But if that's the case, it's fine. At least he helped me bring this man home."
He pulled Arcane's right arm onto his shoulder and helped him stand up. They left the pub and got into a taxi that was waiting.
They returned home in the same taxi that had brought Julian there. The distance wasn't too far from the school where Arcane taught. But for Julian, walking there with Arcane would be exhausting and time consuming. Plus, it was almost 10:13 PM.
Upon arriving home, he struggled to lay his husband's body on the bed. He helped him take off his shoes and socks.
"Come to think of it, I'm really like a husband who takes care of my husband when he comes home drunk from work and carries him to bed," he muttered with a sigh.
He noticed that Arcane seemed to be feeling hot, especially when she forcibly unbuttoned several buttons on his shirt.
"Hey, take it easy! You'll ruin the buttons on your shirt if you pull them like that!" said Julian, who still had time to scold him.
Seeing this, the green haired man immediately pushed Arcane's hand away and helped him take off his shirt. Even though his face turned red from seeing Arcane's body up close like that.
This wasn't the first time for him, but he had never been this close to him. Moreover, Julian sometimes liked to stare at Arcane's abs.
As soon as he saw those abs, he touched them gently, thinking that Arcane wouldn't notice or remember it.
"Did he really work out to get those? But unfortunately, they're so thin. Not like the ones on TV—Wait... Why am I—"
Reflexively, he pulled his hand away, his face growing even redder. He realized what he had done and said about the man. He knew he had said something that made him seem very interested in the muscular man.
"Enough! I'd better go to my room and sleep. Today has been strange enough with the doorbell ringing when no one was there, and now I have to carry this annoying man to his bed!"
At that moment, he was still bent over at the edge of Arcane's bed. Both of his hands were used to support his body. When he tried to get up and leave, Arcane's hand suddenly grabbed his wrist and pulled him down onto his body.
Julian, who was not prepared, fell immediately and his face hit the math teacher's chest.
His cheek pressed against Arcane's chest, making his body shiver with surprise. His face turned red again after returning to normal. He didn't expect to fall into his arms like this.
"What the hell is this? Let me go! You're drunk. I don't like the smell of alcohol on your breath!" he said, struggling to break free.
However, Arcane's embrace around her waist was even stronger, as if he didn't want to let her go.
"You're my husband, I love you so much. You should sleep with me," he said.
Julian's heart immediately began to beat faster when he heard Arcane say that. He felt his heart swell, something like melting inside him. But he quickly came to his senses, realizing that the man must be delirious.
'He's clearly sleeping drunk! Why do I feel this way?' he thought, feeling a little disappointed. Although he was confused, why should he feel disappointed?
Their marriage was just a contract. If Arcane didn't love him, wasn't that normal?
Plus, in their contract marriage, it was clear that neither of them was allowed to fall in love with each other. Julian himself even arrogantly said that he much preferred women to men, let alone someone like Arcane.
"How embarrassing. Damn, damn, damn!" He cursed himself silently.
No matter how hard Julian tried to break free, Arcane wouldn't let him go. He had no choice but to lie still, right on top of her body.
At first, everything was fine. Julian felt Arcane's warm body and began to feel sleepy. Just as he closed his eyes for a few minutes, he felt something touch his inner thigh.
Instantly, his eyes flew open, realizing what it was.
'Fuck, don't tell me it's his cock getting hard from the alcohol? It's huge, it's touching my thigh. What is this? He's not going to suddenly...'
Julian's mind was in turmoil, worried that the man beneath him would do something more because he was aroused.
That night, he found it hard to sleep, anxious that he might suddenly 'attack' him.
He tried to stay awake, even until 12:10 a.m. But since it was past his bedtime, his eyes felt heavier and heavier.
"Don't sleep, I can't let my guard down!"
However, Julian eventually succumbed and fell asleep. The sound of Arcane's heartbeat and his slow breathing somehow made Julian unable to resist his drowsiness.
He yawned, feeling his body so tired from carrying Arcane home and his eyes so heavy.
"Maybe it's okay to sleep for a while. I'll stay alert if he does anything else," he thought.
That night, they fell asleep together on the bed, unaware that each of them felt so comfortable with the other's presence.
The room grew so quiet, with only the sound of their slow breathing and their hearts beating in unison, as if answering a call they had never felt before. As if their hearts were beating for each other.
They spent the quiet night, yet it felt so warm.
