Two hours after the incident, Julian slowly regained consciousness because he had fainted in front of the hospital. When he looked around, he realized he was in the hospital, and Arcane was sitting next to his bed, waiting for him to wake up.
His throat still hurt a little, though not as much as before. He noticed a rash on his hand, similar to the one he had gotten when he ate an apple as a child. He had tried to avoid the fruit, but accidentally ate it anyway.
Arcane realized that Julian had finally regained consciousness, so he put down his phone and held Julian's hand.
"Hey, can you hear me? How are you feeling now?" he asked.
Julian tried to open his mouth, and he replied in a soft, hoarse voice. "Much better. Although my hands feel itchy and my throat still hurts a little."
"It's okay, the doctor said that after you take your medicine again, your allergies will improve. I was really panicked when you started fainting when we got to the hospital."
