The next day, Julian was allowed to go home because his allergies had started to improve. Although there were still red spots on his skin, he felt he could rest at home rather than in the hospital.
He realized that Arcane still had to go to work and he didn't want to bother him any further.
"Are you sure you're okay? If you still feel sick or something, you can call me. I'll come home right away to take care of you," said Arcane, rubbing Julian's head.
"I'm fine! You don't need to worry too much," he replied.
Arcane was silent for a moment as he looked at Julian. He felt he couldn't leave him at home alone, even though he was clearly getting better.
But he also couldn't leave his students, who currently needed him for their studies.
He was in a situation where he had to choose between staying home with his husband or going to school to be with his students.
"You know what? I'll take a day off from teaching today."
