Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 - Dante

For the first time in God knows how long, life was good, great even. I awoke with my soul in my arms, then we went to work. After work we would go for something to eat, then head back to mine, where we would spend the rest of the night in bed.

Life felt like a dream, one I didn't want to wake up from. At work I had to try very hard not to distract Sorin whilst he was working. Something that proved to be very difficult.

A few times I found myself in his room pushing him over one of his work benches and pounding into him so hard. It had taken everything in him not to make a lot of noise. Though Luca would have had no issues hearing us.

"Dante?"

My head jumped and my cock stained at hearing my soul's sweet voice. Sorin stood at my door with several boxes in his hands. He looked rather pleased with himself.

"Is that what I think it is?" I asked.

Sorin nodded and brought the boxes to me. He laid them down in front of me and opened each one in turn. Each piece was beautiful and delicate. Each design held a small onyx and pearl ball inside an intricate silver moon. The ball looked like the moon at night, the pearl was in the shape of a crescent moon with the onyx sitting inside.

"Sorin! These are beautiful! Just what I was hoping for!"

My soul beamed and breathed out a sigh of relief. I could feel he had been worried about my reaction. I moved around my desk and pulled him into a kiss. He moaned into it and gripped the back of my head.

"Do you really like them?" he asked, once he'd broken free.

I smiled, "They are even better than what you drew. I am so happy. Let's go out tonight to celebrate."

That night, I wined and dined him before once again taking him back to my house. In the morning, I sent the sales team the ok to start the campaign, along with the design sketches so they could do it right.

"Come back to mine tonight," I cooed in his ear as we rode down the elevator together.

Sorin blushed and shook his head. I pretended to pout and he laughed.

"I have to go home," he chuckled. "My neighbours will think I died. Plus I need some change of clothes. I'm going to be back down with the other designers now and I can't get away with wearing your clothes."

I looked down at him and smiled, he looked good in my clothes. My brain finally caught up with what he said.

"Wait! You're going back down?" I asked.

"Well yeah," he shrugged. "I was only on your floor because of the secrecy of the project. Now I need to go back to the design floor with the other designers."

We'd reached the elevator by then so we had to pause the conversation. He'd not wanted to raise suspicion that he was dating the boss. I didn't want to hide but I understood.

He waved goodbye and I wanted to pull him back. My heart ached on the nights he had to go home. How could I convince him to live with me?

I hated the idea of him going to that small little flat of his. It was too small and in a rough area. With a sigh, I headed to the company car park and my car. I'm just about to pull into my own garage when I get a call.

I smiled when I saw who it was. Maybe he missed me just as much and convincing him wouldn't be too much work.

"Missing me already?" I teased.

"Dante!"

His panicked voice had my instincts on high alert. Instantly I turned the car around and sped to him.

"What is it?" I asked.

"My place … someone's been here … it's trashed."

"Get out of there now!" I demanded.

"I already am, I'm outside of my building."

"Good, I'll be there soon."

Sorin was nervously pacing back and forth as I pulled up. He breathed a sigh of relief when I reached him.

"Are you ok?" I asked as I wrapped him tight against me.

"No," he sighed.

"Has anything been stolen," I asked.

"Not that I can see, but I didn't really look."

I nodded and headed inside. Sorin was shaking as we reached his door. Inside was just as he described, someone had been clearly looking for something."

"Have a good look, see if you can see if anything is missing."

Sorin nodded and started sifting through things. I headed into the bedroom and froze. There was an unusual scent here, a male scent. My mind didn't want to think about why there would be another male's scent in his bedroom.

"Sorin!" I choked out.

He came in looking confused.

"Have you had anyone in here?"

His confusion increased and I growled.

"Has another man been in your bed?"

"What! No! Of course not! Why would you say that?"

Sorin looked angry, confused and insulted which eased my imagination.

"I can smell another male here, it's stronger here so I didn't catch it out there."

"What! and you thought that I …."

Sorin looked hurt but I didn't have time to soothe him right now. I moved over to his bed and inhaled.

"This is where the scent is strongest. He spent the most time here and …"

I pointed to some fluid on the bed and growled.

"He jerked off on my bed?"

Sorin looked pale and like he was going to faint. As I stood I grabbed some of his things into a bag and moved him out of the bedroom. I collected what I thought was important from the main space and then we left.

I handed the landlord a large amount of cash, first to cover the rest of his rent, to cover the clean up and to ensure he told no one Sorin was no longer living there.

Whether he liked it or not he was coming to live with me. I had to keep him safe.
