Chapter 5 - Sinfully Yours CHAPTER 5

I DONT LIKE YOU !

Elena's POV:

"Ahhhhhhhhhh! My head… it's splitting apart!"

I groaned, dragging myself out of bed. My head was pounding like a drum.

After a long shower, I finally came out, towel-drying my hair.

"Ughh… this headache. I shouldn't have drunk that much last night," I muttered.

Just then, Mom walked in, holding a cup of tea.

"Here, have this. It'll help with the headache," she said.

"Thanks, Mom," I replied, taking the cup.

"Next time you go to a club," she added, raising an eyebrow, "take your driver with you. Understood?"

"Okay, Mom," I sighed.

"Oh, and make sure to thank your friend who dropped you home," she said casually.

"My friend? Mike?" I asked.

Mom shook her head. "No, not Mike… what was his name again? Um… yeah—Adrian."

I froze.

Wait… WHAT?! That stupid jerk brought me home?!

"Whaaaat! Adrian dropped me home??" I almost choked.

"But Mike told me he'd drop me after taking Jaiz!"

Mom nodded. "Yes, Mike called this morning. He said his bike ran out of fuel halfway and he tried to call you, but you were unconscious and Adrian was there so he answered and brought you home safely."

Holy. Freaking. Shit.

I mumbled to myself, One minute I'm blacked out and the next, only Adrian's there… oh no… did he… no no no, impossible! I'll go insane!

Mom smiled softly. "By the way, that friend of yours—Adrian—seems like a very nice boy. Polite, responsible, well-mannered…"

"Nice? My foot," I muttered under my breath.

"What was that, honey?"

"Nothing, Mom!" I said quickly. "I should get ready for school—Jaiz will be here any minute."

(That Mike is so dead when I see him 😒)

"Alright then," Mom said, walking out. "I'll set the breakfast table."

Adrian's POV

After dropping that irritating girl home, I finally reached my place.

Mom was waiting at the door, arms crossed.

"It's so late! Do you even know it's almost 2 a.m.?"

"Uh… Mom… I… uh… yeah—Tyler wanted to go to the club, so I just went along," I said, scratching my neck awkwardly.

Mom sighed. "Fine. Go get some rest, you've got school tomorrow."

"Yeah, yeah. Good night, Mom."

"Good night, son."

I took a quick shower, wore my shorts, and fell onto the bed.

But then… that annoying face popped into my head again.

Should I text Mike? Maybe ask if She's okay?

…Wait. What the hell am I even thinking?!

"Damnn !! , Adrian, stop!" I muttered, rolling around on my bed like some frustrated maniac.

"She's just… irritating! That's it!"

Eventually, I fell asleep.

[Next Morning]

Ughh… another boring day.

I got up, got ready, and had breakfast. Rowan—my twin brother—decided to come with me to school.

I told him not to, but as usual, he didn't listen.

The moment we reached school, I parked the car and, as expected, a whole swarm of girls surrounded Rowan.

Typical.

I quietly slipped away, putting on my headphones, holding my favorite book.

While walking down the corridor, my car keys slipped from my pocket.

I bent down to pick them up—

And saw a pair of heels stop right in front of me.

I didn't even have to look up to know who it was.

The irritating girl herself—Elena Collins.

Before I could say anything, she grabbed my wrist and said coldly,

"Come with me."

She dragged me into an empty hallway, pushed me against the wall, slammed one hand beside my head, and glared at me.

"Hey, you better tell me what the hell you did to me last night at the club."

I stared at her. "What I did to you? You were unconscious! Your friend called and said, he couldn't drop you, and asked me to do it. I just dropped you home. That's it."

She went silent for a second, thinking.

Then she squinted at me again. "No, I mean… what did you do to me in the club before that?"

I blinked. Is she serious right now?

God, this girl is actually insane.

I've had enough.

I grabbed her wrist, switched places, and pinned her to the wall instead—one hand beside her head.

"Listen, Collins," I said, voice low and firm.

"You might be everyone's favorite—the famous, spoiled 'Miss Collins' that this whole school worships."

I leaned closer.

"But I don't care who you are. Stay away from me. I DON'T LIKE YOU. Got it?"

And with that, I walked off toward the classroom—leaving her stunned and speechless.
