Blooming in the darkness there is beauty yet underneath... Is something completely sinister... My brother once warned me to never go where the flower blooms. At first I was hesitant and yet I wanted to believe it was true... It was far too much for me to comprehend what I saw that day. I was at the point of insanity, if The knight himself hadn't come to seal the disaster I wouldn't have made it back to the mainland.
Never go near the bloom of the void... It is neither living or inanimate... It itself is void... No meaning to its hunger but to fill itself with everything that it can lay its reach on... The only way to destroy it is.... (interrupted) A voice spoke with annoyance for being interrupted while reading the journal.
???: Hey! what was that for?! If Mr. Knight were here he'd beat the sense out of you for disrupting valuable info from being uncovered!... umm nevermind are you ok Hajin?
Hanjin was visibly sea sick from travelling across the sea with no rest at sight. The girl who was at first annoyed at hajin is his twin sister Yui. Hanjin couldn't stay still and swayed back and forth until he finally sat still to rest. Hanjin apologized for disrupting his sister.
Hanjin: I'm so sorry Yui, it's just I can't handle sea travel... if someone warned me before hand that we would be assigned this expedition....
A loud yell was heard above the ship. Warning! we are in contact with the island! I repeat all personnel are needed at the deck! The Bloom has sent its drones against us!
With quick motion the twins immediately went above to fight the foreign enemy on board the ship. Hanjin wielded dual daggers whilst his sister Yui wielded a bow both of them matching in power. They both dealt with the drones with enough force to destroy any enemy that remained on deck. (Footsteps) a masked figure walked towards them with a smile it was their ship Captain named Isolde
Cap. Isolde spoke praising them for their quick work of the enemies: It seems that you dealt with them all by yourselves? You two didn't even let me use my ability to deal with them huh? what a bummer...
Hajin replied with fear and concern: Absolutely not! we can't let you use that ability again after the last time you used it!
Yui had chills down her spines with the mention of the so called "ability"
Cap. Isolde looked at them with a disappointed sigh and reminded them of the situation ahead: Look forward idiots don't be distracted by me when there is more problems ahead of us...
The Twins looked at each other and spoke at the same time: Oh right... we have to deal with the bloom on that island...
The three of them witnessed a man who was armored with a sword on his belt standing on a huge rock at the shore menacingly towards the island not paying attention to their presence.
Yui shouted in excitement: It's him! it's Mr. Knight! he got here way faster than I expected...
Hajin replied like a fan: Of course he would come here without a boat he has the sword with him plus I've heard he's here to reclaim one of the weapons.
Cap. Isolde Shouted at the knight: Alan(The name of the current EverKnight)! Come regroup for our preparation!
Alan: OH YOU'RE HERE!! I was getting bored... I see both of my students are here as well, how was the trip?
The Twins excitingly told everything about their week's journey crossing the sea towards the island. Alan himself was impressed by the feats they achieved on sea but he had a growing distain when he saw hanjin's daggers..
Alan himself scolded hanjin: You shouldn't have taken those daggers, do you even know the dangers those daggers caused back at the mainland? I do not know how you came into possession of those but I cannot allow you to use those daggers. Give the to me I will give you something that fits you and your style better.
Hanjin looked down at his daggers realizing it wasn't his: These aren't mine! I must have picked these up at the port by mistake...
Alan: it wasn't a mistake Hanjin... those daggers just come to new owners every single time I encounter it... Let me seal those things for good..
Hanjin gave the daggers to Alan immediately in fear of the daggers: here! I don't want to see them ever again!
Alan grabbed them and performed a seal and teleportation spell on it: There they should be in the vault of weapons back at my place. Here is the weapon I spoke about...
Hanjin: Are you sure master? but isn't this blade... your oldest companion throughout your journey?
Alan: I believe that it is your destiny to awaken InDex once more... right before my final battle with the eldritch lord... My master told me that one day someone may have the capability of awakening InDex and I think you are the one... here touch the hilt..
Hanjin touched the hilt with hesitation until the blade suddenly spoke confused one where it is now.
InDex: Alan... where am I? why am I alive... I thought I exhausted all my energy...
Alan was relieved that his oldest friend had finally awoke from his slumber: You're awake... its been nearly a decade ever since...
