I woke up to sunlight streaming through my window and the sound of chaos downstairs.
Graduation day.
My phone showed 7:30 AM two and a half hours until the ceremony. I lay there for a moment, letting the significance sink in. This was it. The last day of being a high school student. The last day at Blackwood Academy. The end of an era.
"ARIA! ARE YOU UP?" Aunt Maria's voice carried up the stairs. "WE HAVE FAMILY ARRIVING IN THIRTY MINUTES!"
I bolted upright. Family. Right. Tía Carmen, Abuela, Uncle Roberto everyone was coming.
I threw on clothes and rushed downstairs to find the kitchen in full preparation mode. Aunt Maria was making enough breakfast to feed an army. Maya was setting the table, already dressed in her nice sundress. And Kai was on the phone, pacing the living room.
