The morning sun filtered through the thin curtains of Rito's room, casting a warm, unforgiving light on the wreckage of the night before.
Rito blinked awake, his body heavy with a deep, satisfied exhaustion. Before he could even stretch, he felt a soft, warm weight shifting against his side. Haruna was still there. She was curled against him, her dark hair a messy sprawl across his chest, her bare shoulder rising and falling with deep, peaceful breaths.
The air in the room was thick, heavy with the undeniable scent of their marathon, musk, sweat, and the sharp, distinct tang of dried seed that stained the sheets in stiff patches.
He shifted slightly, and Haruna stirred. Her eyelids fluttered open, revealing eyes that were hazy at first, then widened as the memories of the night crashed into her. She didn't pull away or scream. Instead, a slow, beautiful blush spread across her cheeks, and she buried her face in the crook of his neck.
"Good morning... Rito-kun," she whispered, testing the name on her tongue. It sounded natural now, stripped of the formalities she had clung to for so long.
"Morning, Haruna." Rito replied, wrapping his arm tighter around her naked waist.
She hissed softly as she tried to move her legs. "Ouch... my hips..."
"Sorry," Rito said, though the honest, sheepish grin on his face betrayed him. "I might have gone a little too hard. You were just... really tight."
Haruna looked up at him, her eyes gleaming with a secret, satisfied light. "You were. But... I think I liked it."
She sat up, the sheet falling away from her body, exposing her bare chest and stomach to the cool morning air. She didn't rush to cover herself. Instead, she looked down at her lower abdomen.
There, glowing softly even in the daylight, was the Golden Heart Seal. It pulsed with a steady, rhythmic warmth, a permanent reminder that she was no longer just a classmate or a librarian. She belonged to him.
"It's still there." she murmured, tracing the outline with her finger.
"It's forever." Rito reminded her.
Before they could say another word, the bedroom door slid open with a cheerful whoosh.
"Morning, Rito! Morning, Haruna-chan!"
Lala bounded into the room, already fully dressed in her Sainan High uniform, her tail swishing happily behind her. Run followed close behind, looking equally bright-eyed and eager.
Neither of them seemed surprised to see Haruna naked in Rito's bed; in fact, they looked delighted.
"You did it!" Run squealed, skipping over to the bed, her eyes locking onto the glowing mark on Haruna's stomach. "Look! She has the mark! It's glowing!"
"It's perfect!" Lala cheered, jumping onto the mattress, careful not to knee Rito in the groin, and lifting her own uniform top.
Run did the same, pulling up her blouse to expose her midriff.
For a moment, the room was filled with the soft, synchronized pulsing of three golden hearts.
Haruna stared at the three marks, hers, the Princess's, and the Idol's. They beat in time with each other, connected by the boy sitting in the middle of them. Tears pricked the corners of her eyes, but she was smiling.
"We really... match." Haruna whispered.
"Welcome to the family, Wife Number Three!" Lala declared, grabbing Haruna's hand and squeezing it.
"Now we can all walk to school together, and eat lunch together, and... do other things together." Run added with a mischievous wink, her gaze drifting down to the sheet where Rito's morning erection was making a very prominent, very familiar tent.
…
"Do other things together..."
Run's mischievous comment hung in the air, accompanied by her gaze dropping to Rito's lap. The sheet was tented high, a testament to his morning vitality and the lingering effects of the night.
"Rito~!" Lala chirped, crawling onto the bed on his left side, disregarding personal space entirely. She pressed her chest against his arm. "Your 'tail' is energetic this morning! Does it want to say hello to everyone?"
"Lala!" Rito flushed, trying to sit up, but he was effectively pinned. Haruna was on his right, naked and warm. Lala was on his left. And Run was kneeling between his legs at the foot of the bed, her hands resting dangerously close to his ankles.
"It's okay, Rito-kun." Run giggled, crawling up the mattress until she was hovering over his legs. "We're all wives now. We should get used to... sharing."
She reached out, her hand pressing lightly on the tented sheet, right over the head of his erection.
Rito gasped. "Run!"
Haruna, who would have died of embarrassment a week ago, just watched. Her face was pink, but her eyes were curious. She shifted, her bare breast brushing against Rito's arm.
"Is this... how it's going to be?" Haruna whispered, looking at the other two.
"Yup!" Lala beamed. "We're a family! The Harem Plan means everyone is happy together!"
For a moment, Rito looked around. The three most beautiful girls he knew were surrounding him on his bed. Two were showing off their engagement seals. One was naked. All of them were looking at him with absolute adoration.
His heart swelled. 'I did it…' he thought. 'I actually did it! Everyone is here together! Everyone is happy!'
Then, the door handle turned.
"Rito. Breakfast is—"
Mikan pushed the door open wider. She was holding a laundry basket, her expression neutral.
She froze.
The scene before her was damning.
Her brother, sitting in bed, shirtless and clearly aroused. Haruna, naked, curled into his side. Lala and Run, leaning in, their hands on him, their shirts lifted to display the glowing golden hearts on their stomachs.
Three girls. Three seals. One brother.
The silence that descended on the room was instant and suffocating.
Lala's tail stopped swishing. Run's hand snatched back from Rito's leg. Haruna instinctively yanked the sheet up to her chin, her face draining of color.
Mikan didn't scream. She didn't drop the basket. She just stood there, her eyes sweeping over the scene with a cold, clinical precision.
She looked at Lala's seal. She looked at Run's seal. Finally, her gaze locked onto Haruna's stomach, where the third mark was just disappearing under the sheet.
Her eyes went dead. The light in them simply vanished, replaced by a void of hollow resignation.
"I see," Mikan said. Her voice was flat. Monotone. "So, Haruna-san too. You really are... collecting everyone."
"Mikan, wait," Rito started, panicking. He scrambled to sit up, disregarding his own nudity to reach out to her. "Let me explain! It's not just collecting! Haruna and I—"
"There's nothing to explain," Mikan interrupted. She didn't look at his face. She looked at the wall. "It's perfectly clear. You're the King. They're your wives. And this..."
She gestured vaguely at the room, at the house she kept clean, at the life she managed for him.
"...This isn't a home anymore. It's a harem."
She turned her back on them.
"Breakfast is ready," she said, walking away. "If you have time to congratulate each other on your... achievements... you have time to eat."
She didn't wait for an answer. She walked down the hall, her footsteps heavy and deliberate.
Rito slumped back against the headboard, the joy of the morning curdling into ice in his stomach. He looked at his three wives, Lala looking confused, Run looking guilty, and Haruna looking terrified.
He had built his harem. He had claimed the girls he loved. But as the sound of Mikan's door closing downstairs echoed through the house, Rito realized the terrible cost of his victory.
He had gained a third wife. But he was dangerously close to losing his sister.
