Kai, Luffy, and the others respected Sanji's choice, allowing Sanji to deal with Kuroobi.
At the same time, they wanted to see Sanji's true strength.
The villagers gathered in the distance, fearfully watching Kuroobi and Sanji standing in the center of the field.
On one side was the brutal and ruthless Fish-Man Karate master, and on the other was Sanji, a member of the Straw Hat Pirates.
"You humans, how dare you challenge the Fish-Man Pirates?" Kuroobi sneered, his voice hoarse and disdainful.
His black and blue scales shimmered with a cold light in the dim illumination, and his eyes were filled with contempt and killing intent.
Sanji, with a cigarette dangling from his lips, looked indifferent, his hands in his pockets, but his gaze was as sharp as a blade.
He looked up at Kuroobi and slowly said, "So what if you're a Fish-Man? People like you, who bully the weak, where do you get your sense of superiority?"
"Arrogant human!" Kuroobi roared, his aura surging.
He suddenly raised his arm, his palm cutting a cold arc through the air, and water vapor condensed out of thin air, forming a rapidly spinning water droplet.
"Fish-Man Karate: Water Drop Shot!"
The water droplet shot towards Sanji at an extremely high speed, tearing through the air with a sharp whistling sound.
Sanji's figure flickered, and he stomped his foot, quickly dodging the Water Drop Shot.
The water droplet hit the ground, shattering the flagstones, and fragments scattered in all directions, causing the villagers to gasp in alarm.
"Such powerful strength!" A villager said, trembling, "That's an attack that can pierce through walls..."
Sanji stabilized himself, a cold glint flashing in his eyes: "This guy's attack is somewhat interesting, but his speed... isn't enough."
Before his words faded, Sanji stomped his foot, and his entire body shot towards Kuroobi like an arrow.
He rotated his body slightly, and his right leg swung out fiercely, bringing with it a gust of wind, heading straight for Kuroobi's chest.
"Kick Technique: Mutton Shot!"
Kuroobi sneered, crossing his arms to block in front of him.
"Boom"!
Sanji's leg struck Kuroobi's arm hard, and the enormous impact made the ground tremble slightly.
Kuroobi took a step back, but he sneered and said, "Good strength, but it's still far from enough."
Kuroobi suddenly threw a punch, aiming for Sanji's side face, his fist carrying a sonic boom that tore through the air, its power terrifying.
Sanji lowered his body, deftly dodging the punch, and countered by sweeping his left leg towards Kuroobi's lower body.
Kuroobi sensed Sanji's intention, and his feet dug into the ground like nails. He let out a low growl, swinging his arms and smashing them heavily onto the ground.
"Fish-Man Karate: Torrent Palm!"
The ground trembled, and a powerful shockwave spread along the ground, instantly sending Sanji flying, and he landed heavily on a nearby flagstone.
"Sanji!" Nami exclaimed worriedly when she saw Sanji get knocked away.
"Don't worry, it's just a warm-up. Believe in Sanji!" Kai comforted Nami, telling her not to worry too much.
Sanji got up from the ground, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.
He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and sneered, "It seems I need to get serious."
His figure flickered, and he suddenly rushed in front of Kuroobi, his body spinning rapidly in the air, his legs kicking out one after another.
"Black Leg Kick Technique: Carving Shot!"
Kuroobi crossed his hands to protect his chest, continuously blocking several of Sanji's kicks, but the impact still made him retreat several steps.
He let out a low growl, throwing a fierce punch at Sanji.
Sanji dodged flexibly, every movement appearing clean and precise. He stomped his foot, leaped high into the air, and his right leg smashed downwards fiercely.
"Black Leg Kick Technique: Tenderloin Shot!"
This kick landed on Kuroobi's shoulder, his scales cracking with a dull thud.
Kuroobi gritted his teeth, enduring the pain, and suddenly grabbed Sanji's foot, flinging him away.
"Boom"!
Sanji crashed into a stone wall nearby, the wall instantly collapsing, and dust rose everywhere.
Kuroobi roared as he charged at Sanji, his fists whistling through the air as they smashed towards his face.
Sanji calmly dodged to the side, simultaneously kicking Kuroobi's knee, making him lose his balance.
"Fish-Man Karate: Heavy Pressure Smash!"
Kuroobi roared as he threw a punch, the air seemingly torn apart, and a powerful force rushed towards Sanji.
Sanji suddenly leaped to avoid it, but the aftershock still sent him flying several meters away.
"So strong... The strength of these Fish-Men is simply something humans can't withstand."
A villager exclaimed in awe, holding their breath as they watched the battle between the two, their hearts filled with shock and reverence.
Sanji stood up from the rubble, blood trickling down his forehead, but he still stood tall.
He raised his right leg, his toe emanating a chilling coldness.
"This kick... will send you back to the sea."
Sanji stomped his foot, his figure flashing like a ghost, his right leg carrying a fierce gust of wind as it kicked fiercely towards Kuroobi's chest.
"Black Leg Kick Technique: Beef Burst!"
"Boom"!!!
A dull thud came from Kuroobi's chest, and his massive body was sent flying more than ten meters, crashing into a distant stone wall, and the collapsing rubble buried him.
Kuroobi struggled to stand up, but the intense pain made him unable to move. He lay on the ground, gasping, unable to fight anymore.
Sanji knelt on one knee, breathing heavily, his clothes soaked with sweat, his body trembling from overexertion.
He slowly stood up, a cigarette dangling from his lips, and said in a low voice, "Don't ever say that Fish-Men are nobler than humans again.
In my eyes... all those who bully the weak are equally ridiculous."
The villagers looked at Sanji's back, first in silence, then erupted in cheers.
They saw hope, the possibility of resistance.
The sun broke through the dark clouds, shining on Sanji, gilding his victory with a golden glow.
"Bastard! Kuroobi was actually defeated by a lowly human!"
Arlong stood by, seeing Kuroobi defeated by Sanji, furious beyond belief, and was about to make a move himself.
Then he saw an even more infuriating sight.
Zoro had already run to the dying Kuroobi.
Wado Ichimonji was unsheathed, and with one slash, he cut off Kuroobi's head and put it into his bag.
"Bastard! Bastard! Bastard!"
"I'm going to kill all of you!"
"I'm going to crush all your bones, one by one!"
Seeing this scene, Arlong's eyes were bloodshot with rage; he was utterly furious.
"For eight years, you Fish-Men have harmed so many humans. Now you can't stand it when one of your executives is killed?"
Kai's calm words spread around:

He had indeed heard a loud bang not long ago.

Kai once again rubbed salt into Arlong's wound.
"I'm going to kill you!" Arlong could no longer hold back and charged over like a high-speed tank.
"I'll take care of this Arlong!"
Luffy clenched his fists and met the rapidly approaching Arlong.
