Chapter 11 - Ridiculous Protagonist’s Aura, Stupefied Zhou Yi

"—And you two as well! Two against one and you still lost? Truly useless! Go run a hundred laps too!" Zhou Yi pointed at Wang Dong and Huo Yuhao as she spoke coldly.

"You—!!!"

Wang Dong almost blurted out, You old hag, are you just looking for trouble, you TMD?!

"Come on, I'll buy you a burger after we're done." Bai Zhou didn't wait for Wang Dong to speak and directly pulled him away. Anyway, they were going to change classes soon, and he really didn't want to waste another word arguing with this unreasonable old woman.

After all, Zhou Yi was clearly at her menopausal stage and impossible to reason with. In her world, strength was truth—if you won with logic, she'd simply use her Soul Emperor cultivation to suppress you into the ground.

"Hmph!"

Wang Dong snorted coldly but, for the sake of that promised burger, didn't say anything further.

"Teacher, I also have to run a hundred laps… but so much time has already passed?"

Huo Yuhao was completely dumbfounded. He'd been beaten up, and now he was being punished on top of that? What kind of damned rule was this? How could it be this unfair?

"You got beaten and still think you have the right to complain? Useless trash should train more! If you can't finish, you'll be expelled!" Zhou Yi glanced at Huo Yuhao, speaking coldly.

In truth, the type of student she hated most were those who got in through connections. However, since Huo Yuhao was from Tang Sect, she reluctantly gave Tang Sect some face and treated him a bit more leniently.

"I… I understand…"

Huo Yuhao gritted his teeth hard, feeling endless grievance in his heart. This was the second time he had been disappointed by Shrek Academy.

If not for the fact that Tang Ya had used an extremely precious opportunity to help him enroll, he would have quit on the spot!

Trash Shrek! Bullying people like this! Not staying here would be better!

On the training field, Wang Dong and Bai Zhou ran side by side.

"That old witch is too despicable! How can someone like that be worthy of being a teacher?"

Wang Dong cursed nonstop, practically paying his respects to Zhou Yi's eighteen generations of ancestors.

"I agree—this teacher isn't it. I'll go to the Academic Office this afternoon to apply for a class transfer. You can come with me."

Bai Zhou fully supported Wang Dong's rant.

"Huh? Transfer classes… Will the Academic Office even approve that?" Wang Dong was a bit confused. He'd heard that Shrek's rules were extremely strict—was something like that even possible?

"Leave it to me. Rules are dead, but people are alive. As long as you show enough talent, you gain enough privileges—any rule can be broken at will." Bai Zhou said confidently with a faint smile.

"Bai Zhou, you're amazing…" Wang Dong couldn't help saying, a hint of admiration rising in his heart.

Being strong was one thing, but for a fellow freshman to understand Shrek so well and never get pushed around—it was impressive.

"Oh? The young master actually knows how to compliment people?" Bai Zhou raised his brow teasingly.

"Shut up!"

Wang Dong's face reddened slightly as he angrily punched Bai Zhou in the arm.

"I'm going to run a hundred and fifty laps—you do as you wish." Bai Zhou stopped talking and instantly sped up.

"Hmph! I'll run a hundred and fifty too!"

Wang Dong snorted and chased after him. There was no way he'd let Bai Zhou outdo him. However many laps Bai Zhou ran, he would run just as many!

An hour quickly passed. Bai Zhou's speed was incredibly fast—he finished one hundred and fifty laps without even panting.

Wang Dong, on the other hand, started to regret his decision. One hundred and fifty laps wasn't too hard by itself, but keeping up with Bai Zhou for one hundred and fifty laps was practically suicidal.

He barely managed to finish, but he was gasping heavily, his soul power nearly exhausted.

"Not bad. Looks like I've found some real talent this time." Zhou Yi secretly rejoiced as she watched Bai Zhou and Wang Dong run. She hadn't expected Class One to have two geniuses like this. With them, her class could absolutely win the upcoming freshmen tournament—and with that achievement, she could easily get promoted to Senior Teacher!

Though she was pleased inside, she still planned to "teach them a lesson" later, so they wouldn't become arrogant because of their strength.

In just a short moment, Zhou Yi had already thought of dozens of ways to suppress Bai Zhou and Wang Dong.

While she was imagining this, the rest of the students gradually finished their laps as well. Though tired, most could still endure.

Then, everyone turned to see Huo Yuhao trailing far behind.

After all, to run a hundred laps, one had to use soul power. Huo Yuhao's soul power was the lowest among them, and his malnutrition made his body extremely weak. For him, a hundred laps was nearly impossible. By the time everyone else finished, Huo Yuhao still had twenty laps left, with only a quarter-hour remaining—clearly, he couldn't finish.

"This guy is too pathetic. He even tried to save me earlier—where does he get that kind of courage?" Wang Dong sneered disdainfully when he saw this.

Only someone strong like Bai Zhou deserved his respect. As for bottom-tier trash like Huo Yuhao, he couldn't even be bothered to look at him.

However, when he saw the stubborn determination on Huo Yuhao's face, under some strange and inexplicable influence, Wang Dong suddenly felt a vague urge to help him.

"What are you doing?" Seeing Wang Dong take a step forward, Bai Zhou immediately pulled him back and frowned.

"I think I should help him a bit. After all, he did help me last time—it's only fair," Wang Dong said helplessly.

Though he despised Huo Yuhao's help, it had come from good intentions. Helping him once in return would even things out—otherwise, he'd just feel annoyed inside.

"What the—"

Bai Zhou was utterly stunned at Wang Dong's explanation. He hadn't expected Huo Yuhao's protagonist aura to be this terrifying. Wang Dong clearly hated Huo Yuhao, yet he was still subconsciously influenced by some unseen will to help him overcome his ordeal.

As expected of Huo-hang!This was seriously TMD ridiculous!

"No need to help him. He won't get expelled," Bai Zhou said, holding Wang Dong back to stop him.

After all, Huo Yuhao was from Tang Sect. Even if he didn't complete the punishment, Zhou Yi wouldn't dare expel him.

Tang Sect had used its one precious annual enrollment slot to get Huo Yuhao admitted. If Zhou Yi expelled him on the first day, that would be like slapping Tang Sect's face and grinding it into the dirt.

The academy definitely wouldn't let Zhou Yi act that recklessly.

Even if Tang Sect was mostly in decline now, the academy still had to give it—and by extension, Tang San—some face. They wouldn't go that far…

Soon, the hour was up. Huo Yuhao still had over ten laps left, but even though his pace was slow, he stubbornly kept running.

"Teacher, he didn't finish within the time limit—shouldn't he be expelled?" one student said gleefully, looking at Huo Yuhao.

"His soul power is much lower than yours. It's normal he couldn't finish on time. As long as he completes all 100 laps, I won't expel him," Zhou Yi said coldly, glancing at the student who spoke. She memorized his name and face, planning to find an excuse to expel this troublemaker later.

"What? Why isn't he expelled? Why does he get a second chance?"

"Then what's the point of us working so hard?"

"Teacher's biased!"

"She's full of crap—talks one way, does another…"

The students immediately started complaining. She'd been all strict earlier, shouting "expulsion" every other sentence, but now she was changing her tune completely. How absurd was that?!

This is what Shrek teachers are like?

"Silence!"

Zhou Yi roared, her terrifying Soul Emperor pressure sweeping across the field. Her tone turned icy. "In Class One, my word is the rule! Unless you can defeat me, don't talk back! Otherwise—you'll all be expelled!"

At that, every student fell silent, trembling in fear. None dared speak again, though inwardly they all cursed their luck for being placed in this wretched class.

However, Zhou Yi had overestimated Huo Yuhao's endurance…

A hundred laps was still too much for him. When ten laps remained, even if he exploded his "small universe" and squeezed out every last drop of strength, he couldn't continue—he collapsed halfway.

"Teacher, he didn't finish again… will you give him a third chance?" a student asked timidly.

Zhou Yi: "…"
