After serving their prison time, the two companions were finally released and went to meet the girl.

Without hesitation, Rina tore the rest of the dress until it was nothing but scraps fluttering in the wind.
Mila, overwhelmed with shame, grabbed a cloth to cover herself and ran home in tears.
Her classmate caught up with her and whispered in a low, venomous voice:"
_See? Rami tricked you into wearing that cheap, flimsy dress-and now he's mocking you too. You didn't see it, but I did. He's awful! And that gift? It wasn't even new. My friend Eileen saw him buying it from a thrift store just a few days ago."
Then came Rina's triumphant laugh-the loudest, cruellest laugh of all-because her plan had worked.
Her friend had promised to take revenge on Rami, and poor Mila had believed every word. But Rami was innocent. None of it was true.
He had never bought the dress from a thrift store.
And yet, cause of Rina's lies, he lost the person who trusted him most.
