Itachi's voice sliced clean through the chaos. His eyes stayed fixed on the swirling core above.
"Assume that small black orb is the center of the gravity field. We destroy it.
Each of us will use our strongest long-range attack—at the same time."
That calm, surgical tone… the mark of a true Uchiha.
[Sarada]: Uncle's so composed… I'd be panicking by now!
[Sumire]: Yeah, the Uchiha are scary-smart.
[Kisame]: Heh, that's Itachi-san for you!
[Itachi]: …
[Sasuke]: Nothing special. I could do the same—if I felt like it.
The earth trembled; rocks floated upward like paper.
Naruto could barely keep his footing.
"It doesn't matter if you can't aim," Itachi said, eyes flashing crimson. "We use the pull against itself."
He formed the hand seal. "Every jutsu has a weakness."
The Susanoo flared, forming a massive arm.
A swirl of magatama appeared—Yasaka Magatama!
Beside him, Killer B condensed a raging Tailed Beast Bomb,
and Naruto spun his Rasenshuriken to full force.
Three lights shot skyward.
They struck the core together—
BOOM!
A blinding detonation ripped the sky apart.
The Chibaku Tensei disintegrated into shards of stone and flame, raining down like meteors.
And through that fading light—
a red blade pierced Nagato's stomach.
Itachi's Ten Fist Sword glimmered, sealing the body instantly.
Nagato's vision cleared; sanity returned.
"…Sorry, Itachi."
"It's all right. This is the Ten Fist Sword," Itachi murmured.
"Any last words?"
Nagato exhaled softly, smiling toward Naruto.
"I'll keep watching your story. You're the final chapter… the one who'll finish it right."
Music swelled in the background feed—bittersweet, heroic.
Even the viewers felt a sting behind their eyes.
[Jiraiya]: Wait, what—future me dies?!
[Nagato]: Which idiot killed Jiraiya-sensei?!
[Jiraiya]: Pretty sure… it was you.
[Nagato]: I—no way! I'd never! I'd throw a whole army funeral for you, sensei!
[Orochimaru]: If Lord Hiruzen died, I'd be devastated too~
[Hiruzen]: Hmph. You ungrateful snake…
(Meanwhile, the real Hiruzen chuckled softly. He'd never admit it, but the old student's words warmed him.)
Nagato's silhouette overlapped with Jiraiya's; both smiled down at Naruto before fading into the Ten Fist Sword's seal.
Itachi turned to the others. "I'm going to stop the Edo Tensei.
As for Madara—he's yours."
The world chat erupted.
[Ōnoki]: M-Madara?!
(He nearly threw out his back.)
[Mei Terumī]: What's the big deal? He's just some old Uchiha relic.
[Raikage A]: Hah! Right! One swing of my fist and he's done!
[Gaara]: Is Uchiha Madara really that strong?
[Sarada]: The history books say he fought dozens of Kage-level opponents at once.
[Iwabe]: No way, that's gotta be exaggerated.
[Boruto]: Maybe one or two Kage, tops—but dozens? That's fake!
[Naruto (young)]: It's real. The books even downplay it.
[Sasuke (young)]: He's right.
The entire shinobi world froze.
"Uchiha Madara… could he really be that strong?"
"Nah, propaganda."
"Yeah, ninja PR! Probably couldn't even fight a village guard."
"Bet he'd wheeze just delivering ramen."
They laughed—
not realizing that in the next era, that "old man" would fight Eight Gates Might Guy,
Six Paths Naruto, Six Paths Sasuke, Kamui Kakashi, and even Byakugō Sakura—
and still nearly win.
