Standing before them was the Judge of the Courthouse.
A massive man with three heads stacked on his shoulders.
Each head grinned in a different way.
One angry.
One laughing.
One bored.
They spoke at the same time.
"All guilty. All must be punished."
Zoro smirked. "Tch. Three heads? Looks annoying."
Sanji lit his cigarette. "Whatever. I'll kick all three of your ugly faces."
The judge slammed his giant mallet into the floor.
"COURT IS IN SESSION!"
The air shook.
Zoro grins. "Guess we fight."
Sanji exhaled smoke. "Yeah. Let's finish this fast."
The judge roared and swung his massive hammer downward.
Zoro blocked with two swords.
Sanji jumped in and kicked the side head, sending it snapping sideways.
The other two heads yelled at once:
"OBJECTION!"
"OVERRULED!"
The judge twisted and spin his hammer.
Zoro leaped back.
Sanji dashed under the swing, kicking the judge in the stomach.
The judge staggered.
Zoro rushed forward with all three blades.
"Three Sword Style—Oni Giri!"
The slash shook the entire hall.
The judge stumbled, all three heads wobbling.
Sanji smirked. "Still standing? Tough guy."
Zoro pointed a sword at the giant. "Let's bring him down."
Both charged forward again
The courthouse trembled as the fight exploded.
The three-headed judge roared and lifted his giant hammer again.
Zoro tightened his grip on his swords.
"Let's end this," Zoro said.
"Yeah," Sanji answered. "I'll handle the legs. You handle the big swings."
The judge stomped, cracking the tiles.
"All guilty! All must be punished!"
He swing the hammer down.
Zoro blocked with all three swords, the shock shaking his arms.
Sanji dashed in low and delivered a fast kick to the judge's ankle.
THUD!
The giant winced and stumbled a step.
One head yelled, "OW!"
Another shouted, "ORDER!"
The third screamed, "SIT DOWN!"
The judge turned and swung the hammer sideways.
"Move!" Zoro yelled.
Sanji slid under the swing and kicked the giant's knee.
CRACK!
The judge buckled for a moment.
Zoro took the opening.
"Three Sword Style—Rashomon!"
He slashed across the giant's chest, leaving a deep mark.
The judge roared in anger. All three heads shouted different insults at once.
He raised the hammer high again.
Zoro braced—but Sanji acted fast.
He jumped and spun lightly in the air, then delivered a clean, simple side-kick to the judge's jaw.
BAM!
The left head snapped back.
The middle head shouted, "YOU'RE KICKING A JUDGE?!"
The right head screamed, "CONTEMPT!"
Sanji landed and pointed his foot forward. "If you want me to stop, fall down."
The judge charged, hammer swinging wild.
Zoro slid behind the giant.
"Too slow."
He slashed both legs at once.
The judge fell to one knee.
Sanji stepped in and delivered three quick kicks—
One to the chest.
One to the stomach.
One to the chin.
THUD! THUD! THUD!
The kicks lifted the giant's heads upward.
Zoro jumped in beside him.
"Let's finish it."
"Yeah."
Zoro slashed upward with all three swords.
Sanji kicked downward at the same time.
Their combined strike smashed the judge flat into the floor.
BOOOOM!
Dust filled the hall.
The three-headed judge lay motionless.
Zoro sheathed his swords.
Sanji flicked away his cigarette.
"Court dismissed," Sanji said.
Nami and the others ran up behind them.
"Nice job," Nami said.
Zoro shrugged. "He was loud."
Sanji nodded. "And ugly."
Meanwhile...
Blueno stepped out from a Door Door portal, standing on the courthouse roof.
Wind blew around them, and the sounds of battle echoed below.
"You Straw Hats… you always cause trouble," Blueno said.
Luffy cracked his knuckles.
"Give Robin back."
Blueno narrowed his eyes.
"You can't save her. CP9 won't lose."
He rushed in fast.
Shave!
Blueno vanished.
Luffy's eyes widened.
ZIP!
Blueno appeared beside him and aimed a finger at Luffy's neck.
"Finger Pistol."
Luffy dodged at the last second.
the attack tore a chunk of stone behind him.
Luffy swings a punch.
Blueno flicked his body sideways, slipping through a Door he opened in the air, appearing behind Luffy again.
"Your speed is nothing," Blueno said.
He kicked Luffy across the rooftop.
CRASH!
Luffy got up fast and wiped blood from his lip.
Blueno frowned.
"You're tough… but you can't defeat me."
Luffy took a deep breath then crouched low.
"You guys are strong… too strong. And if I want to protect my friends, I have to get even stronger," Luffy said. "Because they aren't as strong as me… and I don't want to lose any of them. So I found a new way to fight with everything I've got."
Luffy placed his fists on the ground and started pumping the blood through his body. With each pump his body shook and turned red.
Blueno blinked.
"What… are you doing?"
"Now I won't lose to any of you." Luffy said.
Luffy heartbeat increases rapidly.
DOKUN… DOKUN…
"SECOND...!"
Luffy's muscles tightened.
His blood rushed faster through his whole body.
"…GEAR!"
A burst of steam exploded from his body.
Blueno stepped back.
"What is this? Your skin… your pressure… it changed!"
Luffy vanished.
WHOOSH!
Blueno's eyes shot wide. Unable to track Luffy's movements.
Luffy appeared right in front of him.
"Gum Gum… Jet Pistol!!"
BAM!!
The punch hit Blueno in the stomach so hard his body folded inward.
He flew across the rooftop and smashed into a wall.
Blueno gasped, coughing.
"H-How… you weren't this fast before…"
Luffy walked toward him slowly, steam pouring from his shoulders.
"I won't lose to anyone…
Not while Robin is crying."
Blueno tried one last attack.
He opened a door behind Luffy—
appearing above him.
"Rapid Finger Pistol!!"
Luffy dodged effortlessly.
Blueno's attacks hit nothing.
Luffy vanished again then reappeared right in front of him.
"Gum Gum… Jet Bazooka!!"
Both palms slammed into Blueno's chest.
BOOOOM!!!
Blueno blast straight off his feet, crashing into the far wall, he falls to the ground unconscious.
The roof went silent.
Steam rolled off of Luffy as he looked toward the Tower of Justice.
"Robin… I'm coming."
