"Give me wine!"
"I can drink all day!"
At Damir Port, a drunkard lay on the ground, mumbling incoherently.
Just then, a newspaper was blown by the wind and landed with a whoosh over the drunkard's face.
"Get away, damn it!" The drunkard had barely removed the newspaper when a strong gust of wind hit him, making him gasp for air.
His drunkenness immediately faded significantly, and he then saw the ships in the harbor bobbing up and down on the wind-driven sea.
Suddenly, a large wave crashed against the pier, spraying large amounts of Light, making it seem as if it were raining on the pier.
The seawater drenched the drunkard completely.
Then he heard a 'boom' from the sky; the colossal thunder startled him, and he fearfully looked up, only to find unusual clouds gathering above Damir Port.
Thick layers of clouds, one upon another, with constant flashes of lightning within them, each flash spreading a vast expanse of silvery-white light.
And above the primeval forest behind Damir Port, the cloud mass was slowly rotating, forming a cloud vortex, and within that vortex, bright flashes of Light erupted from time to time, with countless bolts of lightning intertwining and flashing.
"Storm above."
The drunkard scrambled to his feet and ran back in a hurry, shouting as he ran, "Don't strike me with thunder, I swear I'll never drink again!"
Boom!
Almost the entire Damir Port heard this thunder, as if a thousand cannons were firing simultaneously.
At this moment, the ground suddenly turned silvery-white; a thick, bright, and magnificent silvery-white lightning bolt suddenly struck down from the massive cloud vortex hovering over the primeval forest.
It was like a war spear thrown by a God, piercing the night, striking into the primeval forest, and hitting the ground.
Immediately, the entire Sea Island trembled slightly, and countless forest birds flew out of the forest, flapping, chirping, and fleeing.
The second lightning bolt struck immediately after, followed by the third, and the fourth...
More and more, denser and denser lightning bolts crashed down, intertwining to form a twisted column of lightning!
The place where this column of light struck was exactly where Lex and his companions were currently in the underground temple.
Inside the underground temple.
Lex first felt a tremor that shook the ground, then saw the ceiling of the hall suddenly brighten, and large chunks of falling rocks dropped from above.
Following this, a silvery-white electric light, carrying a destructive aura, struck down, shattering the falling rocks and accurately hitting the black-haired woman.
Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle.
Amidst the sound of crackling electricity, a high-pitched scream rang out, and the radiating current spread, causing Roldor, who had transformed into a demon, to quickly retreat.
After this electric light disappeared, Lex saw that the woman had turned into a black, humanoid mass.
But even so, she was still not dead; those things, those 'boiling' flesh and blood, then a hand pressed against the ground, propping up her incomplete body.
But the second lightning bolt had already struck!
She let out a shriek, looking as if she intended to defy the lightning, to defy the awe-inspiring Divine Might!
Creak, creak, creak.
Strange sounds echoed in the hall, and directly above the woman's head, a bronzed gate, covered with mysterious, indescribable patterns, emerged from the Void.
It swayed, creaked, and the gate quietly opened.
If one were to look through the crack in the door, they would see a pitch-black world inside, seemingly endless, but with countless indescribable eyes, densely packed, gazing out at the world.
In an instant, a large number of wriggling, bizarre, and terrifying things, enough to scare one to death, surged frantically out of the gate!
From the gate above the woman's head, things spewed out like a strange 'fountain,' meeting the lightning, and the two canceled each other out.
The gate seemed to connect to another world; terrifying things not belonging to reality were gushing out.
Among them, Lex saw the human-headed spider he had once faced.
However, as more and more lightning bolts intertwined and struck down, as this twisted column of lightning crashed, the woman's resistance was like a stone thrown into a lake, only able to create ripples.
And so, in an instant, her figure was engulfed by the silvery-white light!
In the silvery-white world, she struggled to hold on, and with one hand that was still relatively intact, she plunged it into her own body.
She seemed to be searching for something, and soon pulled out a crystal that resembled a heart.
At first glance, this crystal was a noble, deep black, but inside, dreamlike light and shadows flickered alternately, and from time to time, something resembling flesh and blood wriggled and rolled past.
The woman clutched this 'heart' and pressed it hard into the ground.
Her arm began to 'boil,' her flesh and blood disintegrated, wriggling and flowing down like a liquid, enveloping the 'heart.'
Subsequently, this mass of flesh and blood grew worm-like legs; several legs quickly moved, actually digging through the earth and stones, and carrying the 'heart' to quickly escape.
At this moment, the bronze gate above the woman's head vanished like an illusion, and intense electric light immediately poured down, fiercely and violently washing over her body.
Her skin instantly turned to ashes, her flesh and blood charred in an instant, her bones turned to charcoal; she was pressed to the ground by the lightning, becoming a humanoid charred mark.
After the lightning continued to strike for more than ten seconds, the electric light gradually dissipated, but at this moment, the hall began to shake, and more and more falling rocks from the temple roof indicated that the temple was about to collapse!
"Quick, get out of here!" Bishop Miller shouted, simultaneously throwing a sharp wind blade that shattered a falling rock about to crash down on their heads.
Everyone covered each other as they fled the temple.
When they climbed out of the pit, the forest ahead rumbled, and the ground collapsed, creating a gigantic, bottomless pit that, when viewed from above, seemed to lead directly to the underworld.
Watching the rising dust from the pit and the gradually dissipating cloud vortex in the sky, Lex exhaled a long breath after a moment: "This is the power of a God."
"That was merely a casual glance from the Lord," Bishop Miller walked over, his light-brown eyes full of smiles: "After all, this level of evil is not worthy of the Lord's direct attention."
"Look at the black spots on your bodies now, how are they?"
Lex immediately spread his palm and saw that the spots on his palm were shrinking and disappearing, and he said with joy, "The curse is lifted."
Green shouted even more excitedly, "Praise be to you, great Lord, Storm above!"
When they emerged from the primeval forest, the eastern sky gradually brightened, and a moment later, specks of brilliant golden Light appeared.
Soon, everyone was bathed in the hopeful morning light.
Looking at the morning light rising in the east, Hana murmured, "A new day has arrived."
Green, holding his head, said, "After a night of fear, I can sleep all day now."
Miller then looked at Roldor: "Let's go see the contact person who had an episode on the ship yesterday; he should be awake now."
So everyone went their separate ways.
Lex, who had originally planned to leave by boat today, was sore all over after a busy night and decided to go back to the hotel to sleep first.
He returned to the hotel, and before he could lie down, a knock on the door sounded.
