I couldn't help but laugh loudly at her words. "Why would she even want to interrupt me?" I was about to stand up when Jaxon pulled me back to my seat, and then he stood up himself.
"What do you want now, Vanessa? What exactly do you want at this moment? Because I don't see why you'll be meddling in our business. If you have anything you want to say to me, say it personally. I don't want you involving Aria in anything you're trying to talk about," he said to her.
But I noticed something about the way he spoke, the way he frowned when he talked to her. Clearly, something is wrong. Maybe they hated each other. I could not just fix my hands on what exactly was happening. I just knew for sure that something was wrong. I looked at the both of them for a while before also standing up. I packed up my book and I stormed out, leaving them there, not even saying a word to Jaxon as I just wanted to be as far away from him as I could.
