Aria POV
Even though I did not want to do what I did at the moment, I couldn't help but slap Jaxon on the face as he held his cheek, looking at me surprised.
"What was that for?" he asked as I rolled my eyes.
"Don't tell me, what was that for? You know why I did it. Know your limits. What is so hard for you to understand? Stay away. Come on, please don't make things any more difficult for the both of us or else you won't get to take me on a ride back home next time," I said to him, hoping he would just listen to my words, but all he did was tap on his will continuously.
"You are not going to change my mind from being close to you. My wolf wants you, which means I want you, and that's final. Nothing more, nothing less."
We soon got home, and I stepped out of the car, storming off down the street without saying anything to him. I got home only to find my mom was already preparing dinner.
"Aria," she called as I stopped in my tracks.
