I went to my room some minutes after, screaming loudly with joy as I hugged my pillow. Never in my wildest dream would I have seen this day. I picked up my phone, hurriedly typing Mary's number. "He's sincere Mary," I screamed as she picked up the phone. "We just had a moment together and he poured out his heart to me,I'm filled with so much joy right now" .
"I'm happy for you Aria, but it sounds absurd you know, dating your step brother. How would your parents take it if they are to find out?" she asked concerned.
Her words hit right away. It wasn't like I didn't know or consider the fact that Jaxon was my step brother and our parents were married but I don't think I am willing to leave Nate. Call me selfish if you want.
"Kenzie, no one will find out as long as it stays among us, okay?" I uttered with a tone of finality.
"Alright Aria, I'll see you later," she said, hanging up the phone.
