Meanwhile, inside the Sunrise Café, Stephnie and Claire were badly trapped from all sides. They couldn't understand how the two of them would escape this disaster, because Claire's phone had been left outside—right where Nicolas and his family were sitting, ready to take their lives—and Stephnie's phone screen was shattered, useless despite being close at hand.
"Stephnie, how are we going to get out of here now? I can't understand anything, and look at the time—it's almost two o'clock," Claire said fearfully, showing Stephnie her watch.
"Don't worry, Claire. I'll think of something," Stephnie said, trying to reassure her.
