Monica just smiled and did not say anything more as she had already decided to pursue Alex and get him back in her life. But this time her competitor was a Princess who had all the resources in the world for cultivation but she was determined to improve her cultivation and surpass Elizabeth to be able to get Alex back in her life.
She thought in her mind "At this point of time Elizabeth is a Princess so offcourse I do not compare to her and have to lie low for now. I have to join a powerful sect. After all I have a grade three spirit root and with this I am sure I will catch the eye of some influential sect and then can join it. If that happens I will be able to enjoy a lot of cultivation resources and can improve on my realms. Princess Elizabeth for now Alex is yours however in the future I will definitely take him back from you."
Alex said "What are you thinking about?"
Monica was awakened from her stupour as she said "Huh no nothing. I was just thinking about the current situation. Since Luke is now killed by us and if his family and friends come to know about this then they will not let us go. They will definitely seek revenge."
Alex said "Do not worry about them. If they don't come to know that it was us who killed Luke then they cannot come after us. We will not leave any clues behind." saying that Alex piled up all the bodies together and set fire to them burning the bodies and their things into ashes.
He had also taken all the neccessary things which he found in the bodies like their grade one level weapons and cultivation pills, healing pills and stored them in his space store pendant. However he could not get any beast forms because they were destroyed as soon as the person was dead because the beast forms are usually kept in a person's spiritual conciousness.
He also offered some of the weapons and cultivation pills to Monica however she declined saying she did not need them which was very different from her previous character which showed that the past month had brought a great change in Monica as well. Because previously she had always wanted to take as much as possible from Alex and never showed any gratitude or never thanked him in person. Alex was a bit surprised by her recent behaviour.
Alex said "Now only you and I know of this incident. If you and I do not tell anyone then nobody will come to know about this okay."
Monica nodded and said "Do not worry Alex I will not tell about this to anybody else."
Alex said "Thank you Monica. Now lets get back to the Black Rock City castle before anybody else comes here and discover us."
Then they started moving towards the Black Rock City Castle.
Alex could not use the Fiery Phoenix Technique since he did not want to leave Monica behind after all she did not had a body technique yet and was just in the initial stage of the Yellow realm and did not had any weapon on her on top of that she was injured internally. So he escorted her safely all the way back to the castle.
She was touched because Alex still cared for him so much and had rescued her even after she treated him so badly so she simply thought in her mind "Alex I do not care if you are in a relationship or not but you are mine only mine and from today my life is yours only yours. I promise that someday I will definitely get you back in my life."
Alex said "Okay Monica now that we are here in the Black Rock City castle so you are safe and you can get back to the Blue Empire through the teleporter. I wish you all the best."
Monica said "Thank you Alex."
In the castle they got separated and went to their respective rooms to use their teleportation devices to get back to the Blue Empire.
Before teleporting to the Blue Empire he went to the market of the Black Rock City Castle in the Green Empire to see if he could sell the loot which he collected from the corpses of Luke's men. There were many grade one level weapons like swords, bow and arrows with quiver, war hammers, axes and all he sold them at a good price and got a fortune of 5000 spirit stones.
This was good because he could not use the spirit stones from his own company Metallic Automobile Private Limited since that will be used to support the economy and the cultivation resources of the Black Rock City Kingdom. So it was a good thing that he had a private stash of Spirit stones.
So in total he now had a total of 6052 spirit stones so he decided to buy some cultivation resources and got some extra healing pills and dou qi pills which were quite usefull at the time of emergency and quickly recover his strength to his peak level.
He also wondered why he did not receive any system notification this time because everytime he defeated somebody or even stood there facing his enemy without losing his dignity he was awarded by the system points. However this time he never got a single point from the system. This was also the first time he actually killed.
He thought about it for sometime and found that everytime he was awarded with points his opponents were all very strong and he faced mortal danger from them also he felt fear but this time his opponents were very weak and he did not feel any mortal danger. He also remembered while hunting those Grade one Magical beast he did not feel any mortal danger and he also did not get any system points.
It seems in order to get system points he has to be in a mortal danger or he has to fear his opponent somehow and the threat has to be genuine only then the system will award him with points. That could be the reason.
