King George, Prince Elizabeth and all the well wishers of the Black Rock City became worried when they saw Prince Dominic directly challenging Alex. Because they knew very well that Prince Dominic had a cultivation realm of Completion of the Orange Realm which was a full realm higher than that of Alex's which was only at Completion of the Yellow Realm.
Though there had been instances where people had fought across realms in the past however that was very rare. Alex could never win against Prince Dominic. So Elizabeth said "Alex you do not have to accept this challenge. He is just trying to provoke you to make a mistake."
King George Said "Alex there is no need for you to accept this challenge. He cannot do anything here."
Alex was a very conservative man and he always liked to play it safe and since now there was no need for him to act then why should he fight with someone who had a one full cultivation realm higher than his so he said "Calm down, I won't fight him. I dislike getting into pointless fights."
Prince Dominic said "Do you think you all can escape this easily from me and I will give up without any fight?"
Prince Dominic said "General Marcus your highness as part of the Blue Empire I Prince Dominic of the Golden Rock City Issues a challenge to duel Alex of the Black Rock City for a one on one fight. Please allow and approve this fight."
General Marcus who was sitting on his high seat just besides the King's throne was enjoying a good show as he said "I approve of this fight."
Prince Dominic had developed a positive relationship with General Marcus and had already bribed him on several occasions. Since Prince Dominic was now in this predicament, General Marcus gave his approval for the battle to get additional advantages from Prince Dominic.
Prince Dominic bowed to General Marcus and said "Thankyou your General Marcus."
"The Blue Empire official had allowed this combat, therefore if any of you try to stop it, it will be interpreted as a rebellion against the Blue Empire." Prince Dominic looked at King George and his officials and warned.
Everyone became worried because the very situation which they wanted to avoid has come to pass. Now if any of them try to intervene then their act will be seen as rebellious against the Blue Empire which will be a grave sin and the person of intervenes will be given a death penalty.
Alex looked calm though as he thought since the fight was unavoidable then he should accept the fight so he said "Prince Dominic I accept your challenge for the Duel."
Prince Dominic had a evil smile on his face as he saw that finally Alex was had accepted his challenge. Now he could easily defeat Alex and kill him in one shot then he can marry Princess Elizabeth and nobody will be able to stop him.
Prince Dominic smiled and said "Ke ke ke I appreciate your courage to accept my challenge now be ready to die."
Princess Elizabeth had a look of worry in her eyes as she said "Alex be carefull."
King George said with a solemn look "Alex he is in Completion of Orange Realm so his defenses are very strong. Be careful."
Though the opponent was powerful but Alex had a calmness in his eyes as he said "Thankyou for your concerns but believe me I have a plan. Just watch"
King George and Princess Elizabeth were unable to comprehend Alex's strategy for defeating an adversary who was a whole realm superior to him, but they were able to sense Alex's confidence, which unexpectedly gave them reason to believe in him.
Alex and Prince Dominic came to the middle of the throne room and faced each other and stood in their combat stance. After a moment Prince Dominic said with a mocking tone "Hmmphh you are only at the completion of the yellow realm. I can crush you easily so be ready to die."
After a while, they each used their different strategies to attack one another. But Prince Dominic was far quicker than Alex, and he kicked Alex after avoiding Alex's attack with ease. The impact of the Kick caused blood to pour from Alex's mouth.
Alex used his dou qi to attack once again, but he was unable to reach Prince Dominic because he was too quick. He was struck back, and Alex was flung far away in the corner of the throne chamber, knocking over the priceless glass jar that was part of the furniture. It broke into bits when it plummeted.
With a scornful chuckle, Prince Dominic turned to Princess Elizabeth and remarked "Think of yourself as already a member of my harem, princess. This friend of yours is going to die shortly and have little chance of defeating me."
Elizabeth found Prince Dominic's gaze very disgusting and averted her gaze from him.
He also looked at King George and mocked "Your highness seems like Alex is not that talented after all. Now I will make your worst fears come true and your daughter will be nothing more than a concubine of mine and will serve me everyday in my harem along with my other womens. Ha ha ha."
Prince Dominic had spoken exactly what King George was most afraid of, adding to his already mounting anxiety. He felt as though he would lose control and strike Prince Dominic himself after Dominic made fun of him. He will never allow his beloved daughter to be taken away by this scum. The right to marry his daughter will only belong to the most capable individual. He had to step in because Alex couldn't defeat him. But before he could break up the fight, he saw General Marcus stop him, placing a hand was on his shoulder.
General Marcus said "Let them fight they are after all a part of the younger Generation. It does not suit you to interfere in their fights."
General Marcus was already enjoying a nice performance, and he would benefit if Golden Rock City were to swallow Black Rock City because he got along well with Prince Dominic and King Luthor.
Additionally, even though Alex is only in the Yellow Stage, he appears to have a lot of potential because he was able to recognise his extraordinary cultivation speed. It was preferable if Alex was already dead in order to prevent his cultivation from reaching a stage in the future that he might become a headache if General Marcus allowed him to grow.
