Lelouch sat in a luxurious chair, staring at the astonished expression of the noble across from him.
What I want to change is far more than something this small.
"I believe this chess game is over."
Lelouch rose to his feet, picked up his backpack, and walked toward the door without looking back.
He had hesitated, but for Nunnally's sake—for her—he was willing to answer even a demon's call.
In the blink of an eye, the world around him changed dramatically.
His first reaction was to the sudden appearance of the contract terms within his mind.
One forced-command per day, up to three stored at once.
This contract was far more lenient than he had expected.
Shen He was also observing the boy who had suddenly appeared before him—tall, thin, with a youthful face. This was Lelouch before encountering the turning point of his destiny.
"Hello. I'm Shen He, your Master," Shen He greeted with a smile, extending his hand. "And also your companion from now on."
"Lelouch Lamperouge." Lelouch extended his own hand.
His gaze swept across the four people present. Beyond their astonishing beauty, each bore a distinct aura.
Ironically, the only person here who looked remotely ordinary was the man before him—the clear leader.
"I know who you are—the Eleventh Prince of the Holy Britannian Empire. I know many things about you: your personality, your objectives, even your original future." Shen He gestured for Lelouch to sit. "But none of that matters now. From this moment on, your future has already changed. This isn't even your world."
Lelouch worked to digest his words.
At the very least, anyone who could bring him to such an unfamiliar place so abruptly was no ordinary person.
And if everything this man said was true, then one question became crucial—
"What do you need me to do?" Lelouch asked calmly.
Aside from being a prince, he was just a student—and none of the people before him were ordinary.
He would never naïvely believe an entire group from another world had summoned him simply to help him.
"Shen He, I don't like him."Ryougi Shiki's brows were already knitted in displeasure.
The two Servants summoned today—One radiated an aura of sanctity she disliked,The other had far too many layers in his mind. Both were the type she found troublesome.
Shiki's attitude toward people was almost animalistic—she didn't classify by good or bad, but by can be around and don't want to be around.Jeanne, even if disliked, was tolerable.Lelouch, however, fell firmly into the "don't want to deal with" category.
"Let me introduce everyone," Shen He said helplessly.
With more Servants, disagreements were inevitable. In truth, Shiki and Saiki Kusuo hardly interacted at all.
"This is Ryougi Shiki—she speaks a bit bluntly, but she's very reliable. This is Saiki Kusuo, an almost all-powerful psychic. This is Violet; she's not very good at speaking yet. And this is Jeanne, a saint whose legends span countless worlds, now manifest in the modern era as an Heroic Spirit.
Lelouch, we've recently formed an organization called Chaldea. You can consider what we ask of you as part of your job."
Only now did Shen He realize another benefit of forming a formal organization—
He could assign each Servant specific duties. As coworkers, even differing personalities would no longer disrupt the group.
Lelouch studied the group again. He was not socially inept—quite the opposite. But he knew well that the tricks of social maneuvering would only backfire here.
After all, every single person present transcended common human logic.
"Let me explain this world to you first…"
While they had the time, Shen He briefed Jeanne and Lelouch about the Marvel world and the current situation.
Lelouch was still a student and had a younger sister. He couldn't remain here long-term.Not to mention he had yet to meet C.C.—the turning point of his entire fate.
"What a beautiful world," Lelouch said, though his expression was unclear—was it admiration, or sarcasm?"A world where light and darkness are clearly defined. Where those who protect the weak are celebrated as heroes. Where power is not justice, and sincerity actually exists in politics. As long as light triumphs over darkness, the story ends like a fairy tale."
Compared to his own cruel, blood-soaked world, this truly did look beautiful.
"Beauty exists in every world."Jeanne did not agree with the despair in his tone, but she kept her eyes gently on Shen He."With the goal of saving and protecting this world… even if you say you lack resolve, you continue to work toward it. I, Jeanne, am deeply honored to be summoned by you. No matter what difficulties await us, as long as I'm by your side, we will overcome them."
Shen He's face warmed slightly.Jeanne truly was someone who could give others courage and strength.Just looking into her eyes was enough to stir his spirit.
And he realized—his small team finally had new life, new energy. Before this, neither Shiki nor Saiki were ones to express themselves.
"Lelouch."Filled with sudden passion, Shen He turned to him.
"Our current goal is to wipe out Hydra within S.H.I.E.L.D. I want you to handle the planning—that'll be your first assignment. I'll give you the intel to take home and analyze.
Also, if you encounter the woman named C.C., make sure to protect her. She can grant you the power you most need."
Shen He had already explained to Lelouch about C.C. and the power of Geass.
"The power to command others…" Lelouch murmured.
He disliked the idea of predetermined destiny, but as information, this was something he knew how to use.
"Then, for now—" Shen He stood up."Let's go dig out Captain America. Once you obtain your Geass, the real battle will begin."
A Lelouch with Geass was the complete Lelouch.Such power was invaluable against an organization as hidden and entrenched as Hydra.
Combined with his extraordinary strategic mindand the combat strength of these Servants—Shen He was already eager to begin his revenge.
With the intel Coulson had provided, that very night, Shen He took all the Servants aboard Tony's luxurious private jet and headed for the Arctic.
