Chapter 14 - Ch….13 endless death

# _ 7th Reincarnation — "Lira, the Plague Child"

Lira opened her eyes in a frail, fever-wracked body.

A child barely seven, born into a village drowning in sickness and fear.

When her cough grew darker and her eyes turned hollow, the villagers dragged her outside and left her behind a crumbling shed

a place where "plague children" were abandoned to die.

As her tiny chest struggled for one last breath, Morrivayne whispered softly:

"Weakness was forced upon you… not chosen."

# 8th Reincarnation — "Evan, the Blind Prophet"

Evan lived without sight—but cursed with visions.

He saw flashes of his own death: rocks, wind, a long fall.

When he warned the townsfolk, they called him mad, cursed, dangerous.

They threw him from the mountainside themselves, fulfilling his prophecy.

As he fell, Morrivayne murmured:

"Truth is wasted on those who fear it."

# 9th Reincarnation — "Marin, the Cursed Huntress"

Marin hunted beasts for coin, skilled, sharp, unstoppable—

until a forgotten curse marked her scent, drawing monsters to her like wolves to blood.

When a horde descended on her and the child she tried to save,

the child fled, leaving Marin screaming beneath the claws.

With her last breath, Marin whispered in agony,

"Liz… you would've held my hand."

# 10th Reincarnation — "Ravik, the Gladiator Slave"

Ravik was born in chains.

A warrior forced to fight in the pits for the noble's amusement.

He survived ten brutal matches—

until an ogre's hammer crushed his ribs in the eleventh.

As darkness swallowed him, Morrivayne said:

"Violence shaped you… but it never belonged to you."

# 11th Reincarnation — "Soren, the Storm-Taken Sailor"

Soren floated on a shattered plank while the sea roared like a beast.

His ship gone, his crew dead, the storm tearing the sky open.

Each wave that crashed against him felt like drowning all over again—

like the day Liz died.

As water filled his lungs, he whispered:

"Finally… a death that matches hers."

Morrivayne simply laughed.

"Not yet, my dear."

# 12th Reincarnation — "Elira, the Poisoned Scholar"

Elira was brilliant—too brilliant.

On the night she prepared to reveal her greatest discovery,

her tea tasted slightly sweet.

By morning, her blood had turned black,

and her body trembled on the cold floor of her study.

Morrivayne watched with quiet interest.

"Even genius cannot outrun envy."

# 13th Reincarnation — "Father Caelan, the Haunted Priest"

Caelan heard voices at night—

but they were never demonic;

they were Morrivayne's whispers, patient and familiar.

For the first time in countless lives, Alex answered her.

The conversation was brief… but it changed everything.

When the temple accused him of corruption and executed him,

Caelan met death with a faint smile.

"I hear you clearly now."

# 14th Reincarnation — "Darian, the Broken Gatekeeper"

Darian guarded the northern gate of a vast city,

his life simple, predictable, almost peaceful.

Until the unkillable beast came.

He fought until his arms broke, until his knees collapsed—

and as its jaws closed around his throat,

Morrivayne whispered:

"You die for cities… but they will never die for you."

Darian's final words were a trembling curse:

"Let me hate them… all of them."
