'Aside from my nature, there are no other signs that the past Hiruko might have influenced me, but I can't shake this bad feeling.' Hiruko thought

Mito, sensing her son's turmoil, posed, "What's wrong, child?" She asked with a hint of worry in her voice.

At this question, Hiruko noticeably flinched. 'Shit, I forgot she was here. Why does she have to be a sensor?' Hiruko complained internally, but at that last word he had a thought.

'She's a sensor; if anyone could tell if Hiruko's affected me in a certain way, she would.'

"Um, I have a question. Do you sense something in me, like something wrong?" Hiruko asked tentatively.

At this Mito took a pause and then burst out laughing.

"Hahaha, that conflicting natures thing scared you that much? Relax, child, there's nothing wrong with you; you're perfect."

Mito said with a smile of warmth on her face.

At her words Hiruko noticeably calmed down, but he still couldn't get rid of that nagging feeling.

'Tsk, he's like a child who just heard a ghost story.' Mito thought, thinking about how

Arata was scared for a week straight after she told him one little ghost story.

Still sensing his lingering fear, Mito decided to try and take his mind off it. Pushing forward both scrolls on the table, she said,

"These are scrolls that hold the basics of Senju taijutsu.

Though you don't have the Senju's vitality, your body is strong enough to practice the basics.

Remember it's all about fluidity, controlling your body to move your body around your opponent with grace and agility to attack them with full strength.

I suggest practicing your dexterity since that's an important part of this taijutsu." Mito said with enthusiasm,

"Tsunade didn't use this in our fight." Hiruko said quietly, more to himself than to Mito.

Though Mito obviously heard this and decided to say why.

"Tsunade, wishes to become a medic and prefers to just punch people instead of all what she calls 'the complex stuff.'

But maybe you can learn it." Mito said, shrugging slightly before putting her hand on the other scroll.

"Though we'll practice this tomorrow, this scroll goes over Chakra control methods that you can practice on your own; it also goes over basic theory," Mito said simply, but

Hiruko, on the other hand, was brimming with anticipation, especially toward the chakra control scroll.

Though he has the one-piece system, he has no intention of forgetting the various powers from the world of ninja.

Mito, sensing her son's excitement, smiled. "Hiruko, I know you're excited, but before I send you off, you need to make a decision when it comes to your chakra natures.

You have both fire and water, but I suggest you focus on one for now.

You already are dividing your attention between taijutsu, chakra control, kekkei genkai, and sealing. Adding another nature will just make it more difficult." Mito said she didn't want her son to be overstretched.

Hiruko completely agreed with Mito, so he began to think about which nature to use.

'Well, I hear water is the most simple to manipulate, and it's the element I know the most about if you consider knowing it has three forms as knowledge.' Hiruko thought intently before deciding.

"I'll go with water," Hiruko said to Mito enthusiastically.

Mito, seeing this, smiled. 'I hoped he'd pick your element, Tobirama,' she thought before clapping her hands lightly and saying,

"Okay child, I can tell your eager to get training, so I'll let you go." Mito said, smiling slightly.

Hirruko eager, to get practicing hurriedly taking the scrolls, stood up, bowing. "Thank you, Mom," he said quickly, a part of him not even knowing those words left his mouth before he took off running.

A couple seconds later, Hiruko ran back to the room, popping his head in slightly, 'I realized I don't know where my room is.' Hiruko said sheepishly.

At this Mito shook her head lightly and smiled. "Chigiri lead the boy to his room," Mito said.

At her command a shadow appeared out of nowhere in the form of Chigiri. "Follow me, Young Master," Chigiri said, immediately walking out the door as Hiruko quickly followed.

…

Arriving at his room after a very uncomfortable long walk with Chigiri, Hiruko entered a lavish, spacious room.

A large bed with a white blanket lined the wall opposite of the door; to its side was a small desk.

On the wall adjacent to the right of the door was a large dresser for clothes; next to it was a door that supposedly led to his bathroom. On the adjacent wall to the left was a massive desk with a chair.

In the middle of the room sat an illustrious grey couch with an antique wooden table in front of it.

"Wow, they really went all out," Hiruko said, amazed by the room. After looking around for a few moments, Hiruko walked over to the desk with the two scrolls and sat.

Opening the chakra control scroll, Hiruko began to read it slowly. After a few moments he sat down with the scroll.

"So step one is pretty similar to the anime," Hiruko said aloud to himself as he sat up, leaving the scroll there as he walked to his bed and grabbed the biggest pillow on it.

He then walked to the other side of the dresser, away from both it and the door, and laid the pillow at its base. "Might as well get right into it," Hiruko said.

'In the scroll it says the first step to walking on a fixed surface like a tree or wall is to concentrate a fixed amount of chakra to the bottom of one's feet and use that to walk up that surface.

Which is easier said than done due to the fact it has to be just right' Hiruko said internally,

'So kind of like Goldilocks and the Three Bears—not too much, not too little, just the right amount.' Hiruko mused internally as he began to concentrate chakra on the soles of his feet,

'One step, two steps,' but as soon as Hiruko took his third step, he was pushed away several meters away from the wall, falling hard on his back.

Through gritted teeth, Hiruko couldn't help but say, "Yep, too much chakra."

After lying on the floor for a few moments, Hiruko got up, though a bit struggling.

Five hours later

"Ughh! I still can't get it right." Hiruko said, lying on his bed, the covers over all but his eyes, frustration evident in his voice.

Even if he wanted to continue, his chakra was completely drained. No matter how much chakra he put in or took out, it was either too much or too little.

And he was frustrated; this was the first time ever since getting the system he has had to train on something and didn't automatically know how to do it.

"No, Hiruko, it's okay, it's okay; this was never going to come easy. You have to take your time; you'll get there eventually, but you need to grind." Hiruko said, somewhat renewed, this was the path he chose, and he needed to walk it out; he couldn't give up before the road even started.

'I'll protect this family.' Hiruko said resolutely,
