Chapter 3 - Chapter 3.1 - Voice from the Blood

A tense silence lingered in the air after Ribut's shield vanished, marking the end of the battle.

Obspera stood tall, calmly wearing the cloak inherited from their father.

With a single movement, Obspera lowered the Giga Battle Nizer from its ready stance and slowly drove it into the ground.

The sound of cracking earth from their fierce duel still echoed.

Yet with a single, gentle motion of the Giga Battle Nizer being lifted slightly, Obspera began to restore the fractured ground.

A dim, dark light shimmered, filling the cracks and mending them until the earth looked smooth again, as if nothing had ever happened.

The Ultras who witnessed it were left speechless. They exchanged glances; not only because of the power displayed, but because Obspera chose to repair the damage, not worsen it.

Once the ground had healed, Obspera lowered the Giga Battle Nizer beside their body, glancing briefly at the Ultras and the civilians still frozen in awe.

"Calm the civilians first. I don't want to cause more destruction through their panic."

Their voice was calm; soft, yet commanding.

Obspera did not force conversation, but instead showed awareness of the surroundings.

The gesture startled several Ultras who had assumed defensive stances, especially Father of Ultra, who eased his posture slightly, though he remained vigilant.

The importance Ultras — Ultra Mother and the Ultra Brothers — immediately gave out orders.

Several New Generation Ultras and the Ultimate Force Zero quickly moved to calm the citizens still lingering near the Ultra City.

...

Obspera remained still, turning away from the Ultras as a sign that there was no intent to provoke another fight.

They merely tightened their grip on the Giga Battle Nizer resting by their side.

When the atmosphere began to settle and silence regained its ground, Obspera spoke again.

"Now… I wish to speak with those who hold the highest authority here."

"And with Ultraman Zero's companions,"

Obspera added, softly yet with deliberate weight.

Their words made the members of Ultimate Force Zero exchange looks, trying to read the meaning behind the request.

The New Generation Ultras also shared puzzled glances, faces filled with both curiosity and caution.

"I also need a proper place... somewhere only we involved may hear what I am about to say."

With only those few additional words, everyone realized: this conversation was no ordinary exchange.

Obspera wanted to ensure that only a chosen few would hear it.

The tone carried an air of sincerity, yet tension still remained.

Ultra Mother glanced at Ultra Father, silently seeking his decision.

At last, the leader spoke firmly.

"Very well. We will grant you such a place. But know that it will remain under our full supervision."

Obspera simply nodded.

Slowly, they moved the Giga Battle Nizer onto their back; resting it there to show no intent of using it again.

Silence fell once more, broken only by the faint rustle of wind among the grand towers of the Ultra City.

With light, graceful steps, Obspera waited as they were led toward the promised place.

The cold and mysterious aura around them remained, yet gradually, the Ultras began to sense that Obspera was not merely a threat; there was far more hidden beneath the surface, waiting to be revealed.

After the Ultras finished calming the citizens, they gathered at the Grand Conference Hall-Taikaigijō (大会議場) — a vast chamber that had witnessed many crucial discussions throughout the history of the Land of Light.

There, Ultra Father finally allowed Obspera to speak.

"You have shown courage by coming before us and speaking. Now, tell us truthfully who you are and why you have come. We will listen," he said in a calm yet commanding tone.

Obspera took a step forward, facing the circle of Ultras who surrounded them.

They stood upright, the cloak of their father's legacy swaying gently, wrapping the slender form beneath it. It lent them an air of elegance and cold composure within the light of this sacred land.

"I shall begin," Obspera said slowly, their voice deep yet steady; an echo that soothed and intimidated at once.

"I… am an embryo containing fragments of Belial's DNA."

The room fell silent for a moment, before Blu blurted out in disbelief, unable to contain the shock bursting inside him.

"So you're Belial's child?!"

Grigio gasped.

"What?! Belial's child?!"

But Rosso, standing beside Blu, nudged his brother firmly.

"Hey, Isami… be quiet for now,"

he said calmly but sharply, trying to maintain the fragile balance in the room.

Obspera turned slowly toward Blu, their gaze calm... almost as if examining a puzzle.

"Why would you conclude that?"

they asked, their tone relaxed but laced with an unsettling undertone.

Blu faltered, struggling to find words.

"W-well, because…" he murmured, unable to finish his sentence.

The silence that followed was broken when Geed stepped forward, hesitating as his eyes met Obspera's.

"Because you have Belial's DNA… just like me," he said softly,

his voice fading at the end, as though the statement itself hurt to utter.

For a heartbeat, silence devoured the hall.

Obspera exhaled deeply and looked away.

"If it's merely a matter of DNA," Obspera continued,

"then that would mean Belial already has more than ten children."

Their tone remained cold, though there was a faint bitterness within it.

The Ultras exchanged confused looks.

Victory, standing near the front, asked in a serious tone,

"What do you mean?"

Obspera responded with a small motion; raising the Giga Battle Nizer and, with a calm gesture, revealing what was known as the Belial Factor/Devil Splinter.

A crimson-black light flared around the object, radiating an aura that Geed, Taro, and Zero all recognized.

"That's…" Zero muttered softly.

"The Devil Splinter," Z added.
