Obspera responded with a small motion. They lifted the Giga Battle Nizer in their hand, and with a calm gesture, summoned what was known as the Devil Splinter-(デビルスプリンター, Debiru Supurintā )/Belial Factor-(ベリアル因子, Beriaru Inshi).
A flash of blackish-red light pulsed around the object, releasing an aura that Geed, Taro, and Zero had all felt before.
"That… that's…" Zero muttered under his breath.
"Devil Splinter…" Z continued.
"Correct," Obspera replied, raising it high beneath the Plasma Spark's radiance that illuminated the entire Land of Light.
"Devil Splinter. Fragments of Belial's body. One could call them pieces of his torn flesh, scattered across multiverses to sow destruction. This is part of Belial's remains."
Their voice was soft, yet filled with certainty.
Geed stiffened, his posture betraying an unspoken shock.
Victory straightened himself, brows furrowing, his voice firm.
"What do you mean by 'more than ten creations'?" he asked, eyeing the Belial Factor with clear caution.
Obspera continued, "I retrieved all these fragments from various worlds. This object should originally be the size of a human palm… but look at this—..."
They tightened their grip around the Belial Factor, which was now as large as the heart of an average Kaiju, underscoring just how massive and dangerous the devil's remnants had become.
"I cannot bear the thought of Belial's genetics being scattered… creating more beings that know nothing but destruction," Obspera murmured, almost to themself.
"For now, it is known that the products and creations spawned from this Factor number more than ten… and one of them is you, Geed," Obspera added, gazing at Geed with their usual calmness.
Geed lowered his head and clenched his fists, forced to accept a truth far harsher than what he had imagined.
But Obspera did not stop.
Their voice shifted; flatter, almost cold, yet still graceful.
"I want all of you to understand… that I am not the only one who carries Belial's trace. However, among them… and even though my DNA is purely Belial's, that does not guarantee he would acknowledge me as his child. Not like Geed."
Obspera looked away.
"Only Geed was acknowledged fully by Belial as his son," they said, glancing at Geed, who appeared confused and stunned.
The Ultras fell silent. But Obspera refused to let the silence linger.
Standing upright, the lights of the Ultra Council Hall reflected faintly on the obsidian surface of the Giga Battle Nizer strapped to their back. Their voice was quiet but sharp, cutting through the stillness filling the chamber,
"All of you know Geed; the successful son of Belial. But there were three other entities born from Belial's experiments. They were known as the 'Brothers of Geed'—(ジードの兄弟, Jīdo no Kyōdai)."
Blu, standing beside Rosso, stiffened. His expression shifted from curiosity to disbelief.
Grigio held her breath, her eyes widening at the revelation.
"Brothers of Geed…? I've never heard of that," Blu whispered, only to be silenced by Rosso's firm gesture.
"Be quiet, Isami!"
"A-ah..! That hurts, Katsu-nii…!!" Blu yelped as Rosso pinched his side.
Grigio, standing nearby, protested as well.
"Katsu-nii! Don't be rough like that!" she snapped.
Rosso released his pinch and gave both his younger siblings a stern look.
"Both of you, calm down. Don't interrupt when others are speaking."
Obspera, ignoring the commotion among the siblings, continued the explanation about Geed's Brothers in a calm tone that only intensified the tension.
"They were the earliest products of Belial's experiments, genetic amalgamations of Ultra DNA mixed without restraint. However, Belial deemed them failed products—(失敗作, shippai-saku). They appeared only once, in a brief battle, then vanished from history."
"But that was not the end," Obspera continued.
"Two are deceased, and one remains unknown."
Geed stood there with both fists clenched, his eyes locked onto Obspera, laced with doubt yet burning with curiosity.
"I… have met them," Geed whispered, his voice trembling.
"They looked like me. But also… not."
Obspera looked at Geed momentarily before shifting their gaze away, their voice growing softer.
"And not only them... there is Nix," they said, their tone echoing like a memory resurfacing from afar.
"But he is different from you, Geed."
"Nix was not an Ultra, but a humanoid. You were created entirely from Ultraman Belial's DNA, while Nix was created from the Reionics side. However, he was discarded like trash by Kei Fukuide, who deemed Nix another failure... unworthy of joining Belial's army."
…
Obspera paused for a moment before shaking their head.
"No… It is not yet time for me to explain him. We will set that aside."
A suffocating silence filled the room, only to be broken again by Obspera.
Slowly, they lowered their gaze, staring at the Belial Factor resting in their grasp. A faint, shadowy glimmer crept along the cracks of the fragment's surface; as if it were a silent witness to Belial's grim history.
Gently, Obspera inhaled, then lifted the Giga Battlenizer held in their right hand.
A dark violet glow enveloped the weapon: a familiar, ominous light... as Obspera began returning the Belial Factor to where it belonged.
"It is time to rest again," Obspera murmured, their voice calm and cold, brimming with restraint.
A vortex of black energy formed at the tip of the Giga Battlenizer, swirling like midnight fog as it slowly swallowed the Belial Factor.
The Ultras watched with caution and curiosity, holding their breath as the fragment of Belial's body vanished into the Giga Battlenizer, leaving behind nothing but a frozen emptiness in the air.
When the Belial Factor disappeared completely, Obspera lowered the Giga Battlenizer and carried it beside their body; relaxed once again as if nothing had occurred.
"Now, we may continue our discussion,"
Obspera said tonelessly, staring directly at the Father of Ultra and the other Ultras standing before them.
Silence fell once more; not from fear of battle, but from the new mysteries woven by the presence of Obspera, an heir and bearer of a dark legacy demanding answers… and understanding.
Father of Ultra stepped forward, his voice deep yet dignified, cutting through the thick tension.
"Why do you tell us all this, Obspera?" he asked, his tone resembling a father attempting to calm a stubborn child.
Obspera paused before speaking again, their voice still cold but now deeper, as though speaking straight into the hearts of every Ultra present.
"I want all of you to know… that Belial's legacy is far greater than just me and Geed. Many more beings were born from his darkness. Nix… Geed's brothers… and others you have never met," they said, tightening their grip on the Giga Battlenizer.
Father of Ultra questioned once more.
"If that is so, Obspera," he said, his tone authoritative yet gentle,
"What is your true purpose in coming to the Land of Light?"
The important Ultras stood in a semicircle, their expressions tense and alert.
Zero stared at Obspera, fists clenched.
Geed stood uneasily beside him, occasionally glancing at his father; the center of attention.
Victory and Ginga exchanged looks, while Mother of Ultra stood beside her husband with caution etched across her face.
Obspera remained silent for a moment, their calm yet cold eyes scanning each Ultra one by one.
.
With a slow movement, they straightened their cloak, smoothing its folds as if preparing themself for a significant confession.
Their voice finally emerged; flat yet profound.
"Do not worry. My purpose is not to bring destruction," they said softly.
"I simply wish to continue Belial's legacy."
Hearing that, the Ultras reacted immediately.
"Legacy…?" Father of Ultra repeated, wary.
"What do you mean?"
Obspera looked at the Giga Battlenizer strapped to their back, its dark surface glimmering under the soft light of the Ultra Colosseum.
"As you all once knew... Belial was once an Ultra warrior, just like you. But he was exiled after attempting to seize the Plasma Spark."
Their voice remained even, carrying a quiet conviction.
"Even though he fell into darkness, I only wish to continue his duty as a warrior."
Zero, who had been holding back, finally spoke—his tone still suspicious.
"You want to be a hero like us? Or is this another trick... like what your father did?"
Obspera turned to Zero, their gaze calm and faintly dim.
"I cannot expect you to trust my words at once," they replied gently.
"But I am different. I refuse the path of destruction he chose. I want to walk my own path... to atone for his sins."
Victory stepped forward, firm yet confused.
"Atonement? You do understand, Obspera… Belial is the symbol of destruction for the universe."
Obspera looked at Victory and nodded slightly.
"I understand. And that is why I wish to atone. I cannot deny my blood. But I can change the way it flows."
Ultra Mother exhaled softly, caught between pity and doubt. She looked to Ultra Father, who returned a subtle gesture for her to remain calm.
"You speak of atoning for your father's sins," she said, gentle but firm.
"But trust is not easily given."
"I know," Obspera lowered their head, voice quiet.
"I do not need kind words. If you wish, watch over me. I will not run. I will prove myself through action."
...
Geed stepped forward, though still unsure.
"Then… does that mean you truly are… my sibling?" he asked softly, his voice cracking slightly.
Obspera looked at Geed, their expression unchanged.
"Our blood is the same, Geed. But I do not know whether Belial ever truly saw me as a child… or merely a creation."
Their voice dimmed,
"I cannot answer that. But one thing I know for certain: I will not become him. I… will be myself."
"Obspera…" Geed whispered, barely audible.
"I understand. You… You're like me."
Obspera lifted their head, meeting Geed's eyes. The two stood in still silence, locked in a rigid, wordless connection.
Slowly, Geed inhaled and continued, though his voice trembled.
"We were born from Belial… inheriting something we never asked for."
He looked at Obspera more firmly.
"But we also both reject the path he chose. We want to prove that we can be better than that."
Obspera didn't reply immediately. Only a quiet breath escaped them, and for a moment, their gaze seemed… gentler.
"Yes, Geed…" they murmured, their voice hoarse.
"You're right. We don't have to be like him. We can walk on our own feet."
A faint relief formed on Geed's face, though uncertainty lingered.
Zero glanced at Geed, concern in his eyes, but Geed only bowed his head slightly.
"But… you understand, right, Obspera? I… can't trust you right away. I've seen too much betrayal from our father."
Obspera gave a thin, honest—not warm—smile.
"I know, Geed. I don't expect trust. I only ask for a chance."
Silence returned... but it was lighter now, less suffocating.
Ginga glanced at Rosso and Blu, who were whispering among themselves.
Father of Ultra looked back at Obspera, his tone sharpening.
"Then how do we know you are sincere? How can we be certain you are not a threat?"
Obspera drew a slow breath, then deliberately shifted the Giga Battlenizer from its ready position to their back.
The legendary weapon was sheathed calmly, and Obspera spread their arms slightly, as if to show they would not strike.
"I will say it again: I will not attack," they said, their voice low but resolute.
"I came here to make peace. I accept surveillance. And I will not resist… unless you force me."
The atmosphere shifted, tension thinning.
Father of Ultra inhaled deeply, then looked around at the surrounding Ultras; New Generation Heroes, Ultra Brothers, and Mother of Ultra, before returning his gaze to Obspera.
"In that case…" he spoke softly, yet firmly,
"We will discuss the terms of your supervision. But know this: every step you take will be watched. This is not only for our safety, but for the balance of the universe."
Obspera bowed their head slightly in acknowledgment.
"Very well… I understand. I do not ask for mercy. Only the chance to prove my words."
Father of Ultra nodded slowly.
And among the Ultras, a silence filled with meaning formed once more... a pause where hope and doubt coexisted.
He looked at both of them, his expression wise, then spoke again to affirm the decision:
"Very well… Obspera. If that is your resolve… then prove it with your next step."
Obspera nodded quietly, then turned toward Geed once more... acknowledging the invisible bond that only they, the children of Belial, could truly understand.
