A year later, Sona Sitri, having long dreamed of building a school to bridge the gap between low- and mid-class devils, traveled to the human world with official permission from the Underworld's Council. She chose Japan, establishing herself in Kuoh Town, where she and her peerage enrolled in Kuoh Academy—a prestigious high school that had recently opened its doors to both genders.
Following her, Rias Gremory and her peerage also joined the academy.
Rias Gremory, Sona Sitri, Roy Valvas, Seekvaira Agares, Latia Astaroth, Irukya, Akeno Himejima, Tsubaki Shinra, and Valerie Tepes were all sixteen and joined the high school division.
Yuuto Kiba and Yumi Kiba (siblings) were fifteen and entered the middle school's final year.
