Morning sunlight poured through the dining hall's tall glass windows, illuminating the long mahogany table where the entire Valvas family — Darius, Clara, Alex, Jessica, and Roy's close attendants Bela White, Grayfia, Rem, Ram, Albedo, and Venelana — sat enjoying breakfast.
Roy set his cup down and looked toward his family elders, his blue eyes steady.
"Grandfather, Grandmother, Father, Mother… I've been thinking. I want to build something of my own — a business empire that connects both the Muggle and Wizarding worlds."
The room fell silent for a moment. Then Darius chuckled softly, his deep voice filled with pride.
"You're truly my grandson. Ambitious, but clear-headed."
Alex smiled. "You have our support, Roy. Tell us what you need."
Roy bowed his head slightly. "Thank you."
Jessica added gently, "I'll transfer the Frostborne and Lestrange assets to your name. Use them wisely."
And Darius nodded. "I'll release some funds from the Valvas holdings in the Muggle world. Consider it your starting capital."
Roy's heart swelled with gratitude. "I won't disappoint any of you."
Later That Afternoon — The Valvas Study
Stacks of parchment and ledgers covered the desk as Roy and Bela White pored over the Frostborne and Lestrange family assets. Golden sunlight streamed through the tall windows, reflecting off piles of galleons and bank seals.
Bela flipped through a ledger with practiced ease, her brow furrowed. Roy leaned over, watching her work.
"You're really good at this," he teased lightly. "Looks like someone used to be a proper financial expert."
Bela turned, a faint blush coloring her cheeks. "Well… before my marriage, I did handle the Black family's finances. Someone had to keep them from wasting their gold on peacock robes and cursed silverware."
Roy laughed. "So you're telling me the feared Bell— I mean, Bela White, once balanced the Blacks' shopping lists?"
Her blush deepened, and she crossed her arms. "If you keep teasing me, young master, I might 'accidentally' freeze your accounts."
Roy chuckled again, reaching out playfully and guiding her to sit beside him — not in a romantic gesture, but in a warm, familiar one.
"You look even more beautiful when you blush," he said with a grin.
Bela rolled her eyes but couldn't hide her smile. "Flattery doesn't improve profit margins, Roy."
He only laughed and gently patted her head — then kissed her forehead, a soft, brotherly gesture of gratitude.
"Thank you, Bela. For trusting me… and for helping me make this dream real."
She smiled faintly, relaxing against the chair. "You really are something else, Roy Valvas."
A Moment of Light
As they continued to sort through ledgers, Bela began to reminisce, her tone lighter.
"Did I ever tell you about Narcissa and her obsession with perfecting Lucius's hair charm? One wrong flick and his hair turned green for a week!"
Roy burst out laughing. "Seriously? Lord Malfoy with green hair? That's priceless!"
They both laughed until tears formed at the corners of their eyes — two souls from different pasts, now sharing a quiet peace neither had known for years.
When they finally composed themselves, Roy stretched and smiled. "You know, Bela… with you handling the finances, our empire will definitely succeed."
Bela smirked proudly. "Naturally. Someone has to keep your ambitions in check, young master."
Outside, Dvalin soared above the garden, letting out a cheerful roar — as if blessing the birth of a new Valvas legacy.
