Chapter 83 - Chapter 83

After spending peaceful days surrounded by Bela White, Nagini, Rem, Ram, Albedo, Grayfia, Venelana, and Narcissa, Roy finally returned to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. The familiar hum of magic in the air and the warm smell of steam from the scarlet train made him smile.

As soon as he stepped onto the platform, he spotted Hermione, Cassandra Vole, Daphne, Astoria, Cho Chang, and Penelope waiting for him. The group entered their compartment together, their laughter echoing through the corridor.

During the trip back to Hogwarts, Roy thanked them for their thoughtful Christmas gifts. The girls, flustered by his sincerity, admitted shyly that they also loved the presents he had sent them. The train ride was filled with cheerful chatter, teasing remarks, and soft laughter — the kind that made the journey feel shorter than it truly was.

Back at Hogwarts, Roy returned to his usual rhythm of study and exploration. Over the next month, he could often be found in the restricted section of the library, poring through advanced texts — though he purposefully avoided anything related to dark magic. Other days, he spent time laughing with the Weasley twins and Cedric, helping them refine prank ideas that kept the school entertained (and Lockhart thoroughly bewildered).

When not studying or scheming, Roy could be found with his circle of friends — Hermione, Cassandra, Daphne, Astoria, Cho, Penelope, Ginny, and Luna. Whether it was walks by the lake or evenings in the courtyard, Roy's humor and kindness drew smiles wherever he went. Even Hagrid frequently called on him for help around the grounds, from tending to magical beasts to fixing fences.

One quiet evening, Roy visited his pocket dimension, where the silver-lit trees shimmered softly under a magical sky. The unicorn he had saved last year from Quirrell was now nearing the birth of her foal. With the assistance of Gardevoir, the gentle Pokémon guardian of the pocket world, Roy helped ensure a safe delivery.

Moments later, under a cascade of soft light, a baby unicorn was born — its coat a delicate pink, its eyes bright with innocent curiosity.

Roy smiled tenderly, kneeling beside the newborn and offering her a bottle of warm milk. "Welcome to the world, little one," he whispered.

Watching him from nearby, Rowena Ravenclaw's spirit stood silent, her translucent form glowing faintly. Seeing Roy's compassion and care stirred feelings she hadn't known for centuries. He would make a wonderful father, she thought, and to her own surprise, her ancient heart began to flutter. She blushed faintly and turned away, silently deciding that when she regained her body, she would confess her feelings to him.

Roy, unaware of her thoughts, gently assigned Dvalin and Articuno to guard and care for the baby unicorn. Both majestic creatures agreed with pride, bowing their heads to the small, pink newcomer.

A week later, after ensuring the unicorn was strong and healthy, Roy decided to share the miracle. He invited Hermione, Cho, Penelope, Astoria, Cassandra, Daphne, and Ginny to meet him at Hagrid's hut.

As the girls waited curiously outside, Roy arrived, carrying the baby unicorn in his arms. Gasps of wonder filled the air.

"She's beautiful…" whispered Hermione."She's pink!" exclaimed Astoria with childlike joy."She's adorable," said Cho, reaching out gently to pet her.

The baby unicorn nuzzled each of them, earning soft laughter. Hagrid, eyes wide with amazement, knelt beside the creature and offered her a few enchanted treats, which she eagerly accepted.

Roy explained that the foal had been born just a week ago, under the care of Gardevoir and with the blessing of the pocket world.

For a while, time seemed to slow — laughter, warmth, and the gentle glow of life filled the hut. Even the usually quiet Hagrid smiled wider than ever.

As evening fell, Roy and the girls bid Hagrid goodnight and returned to their dorms, hearts light and spirits lifted. For Roy, that day felt like a reminder — that even amidst mysteries and danger, there was still beauty worth protecting.
