It was Han Ren second time to feel such fear from a creature after coming to this world. The sight was horrifying. What was standing beside him was not just any creature they stumbled any other day. It was watching them with a intense look. It's body was invisible and intangible, yet it's two big red eyes were glowing brightly directly pericing Han Ren.
Han Ren was staggered, no any emotions was dealt by him, a controlled smrik formed behind his face.
What type of creature is it? Han Ren thought in a daze.
The creature looked down in a sense of disgust. The pressure from it was unstandable, both Tianhe and Han Ren looked furious but none came with aggrement, the moment they moved, the creature would kill them.
The only option was for them to wait. But Han Ren was not type to wait without any plan. The creature looked exactly like the one he saw at the Han Sect library. It was a creature called Soulless Fiend. These creatures were the worst enemy for the cultivators.
Han Ren instantly tilted his head and with narrowed eyes looked at the gap between the creature eyes.
It was a chance for a survival. Soulless Fiend had different categories. The strongest one was supposed to have five dark chains in between their eyes.
Han Ren eyes widened at the sight of the dark chains in the creature.
Han Ren face twitched showing a hint of relief. Suddenly he turned to Tianhe.
Han Ren eyes narrowed. Tianhe was also showing the same sign as him.
The creature had only two dark chains, one comparable to a eight layer Qi awakening master.
Han Ren himself was on fourth layer Qi awakening, but the realm of Tianhe was unknown.
But one thing was clear Tianhe was much stronger than Han Ren himself.
The creature slowly moved towards them. It eyes gleaming in the darkness of the cave.
Both had already understood what they had to do.
Facing Tianhe, Han Ren slightly noded.
His finger glowing with the same red energy. The moment Han Ren noticed the chains, he began to flow his Qi flowing in every corner of his meridians and finally transferred towards his finger. He was just waiting for a slight moment from the creature.
Han Ren instantly shot the energy Forward.

The energy instantly shot towards the fiend, slightly staggering it. It didn't do much damage to it as it was just a skill practiced by a fourth layer Qi awakening cultivators.
But that slip moment was all they needed to escape. Both instantly run backwards, returning to there previous place.
Even if it had only two dark chains, it's power was truly overwhelming for them now. Without a proper planning, they cannot win against it.
Tianhe face tightened, after a short sigh, his moment realaxed.
"You should understood the meaning behind two chains?"
Han Ren slightly nodded at the question. To which Tianhe replied in a calm voice.
"Ok then let's make a plan on defeating this fiend?''.
Han Ren had been quite all the time, it was not that he didn't know how to kill the fiend, but he was just testing Tianhe judgement, which path would he take.
"We have to move with a plan" Tianhe continued with a solemn word. Placing his hand on his chin, he began whispering.
"You will remain at the back waiting for a moment until he show some opening and directly strike the chains, I will remain at the front and distract it".
The plan was simple yet it carried depper meaning. Han Ren was not some pony who wouldn't even understand the meaning behind staying in the back.
Tianhe had given a hint that he was the only one capable of stalling that fiend and Han Ren didn't had to step in until he needed. It was as if telling Han Ren to step out.
But at the other thought, Tianhe was also just testing Han Ren patient and ability to process a plan in any kind of danger.
Han Ren nodded slightly. His expression grim.
"Then, let's us begin".
At the other hand, the gate was confidently guarded by the soulless fiend. It was circling around the gate as if waiting for someone.

Suddenly a red drop of energy blasted it's way towards the gate. Shattering every path forward until the fiend instantly deflected it.
The fiend eyes narrowed as a lean figure radiating with enormous spiritual energy slowly moved towards him.
Near the very shattered area. A hole was dug out, dark eyes shone between the hole. Han Ren was examing the atmosphere with a widened expression.
"It seems my plan worked", he chuckled.
Before coming back to the gate. Han Ren had already proposed a plan to bait the fiend. The radiating energy blast was actually his own.
To make the fiend belived that the energy blast was actually of Tianhe. So that he would drop his guard around Han Ren.
It was necessary to make the fiend brain completly erase the memory of Han Ren.
Han Ren had already got the loop hole of the fiend. He knew that their IQ was no more than an infant. But even that loop hole was just useless for the fiend.
As it was capable of imitating every skill it was exposed for a long time. Meaning it was just a bit of time for the fiend to imitate the finger blast.
But even to that disadvantage Han Ren had converted it into his advantage by sending Tianhe first to gauge it's ability.
Tianhe must have thought that he played Han Ren but it was totally opposite. The moment they met Han Ren had already placed two pawns for his greater goal.

Han Ren eyes narrowed, a impulsive smirk left his mouth.
On the other hand. A surged of QI enveloped the hands of Tianhe. Ultimately converting the surge of energy to a Dark eric sword. The energy shattered the sorrounding area, as impulsive energy shot forwards striking the fiend with enormous power.
It's eyed windend, slowly converting it while intangible body exactly same as Tianhe. It's hand was also covered with a same energy as a sword suddenly hovered before it's arm.

Han Ren laughed inwardly.
"So this bastard was an Eighth Star".
He breathed heavily, eyes shone brighter with admiration.
Who would have thought that Tianhe was a wolf in a sheep clothing.
The battle had already started.
