Rain sparked, making whole mountains filled with dark cloud. Some trees shattered through the black lighting.
Bam Bam
"Lets head inside and talk", Tianhe said. His voice composed. Han Ren also nodded in agreement.
The three figures silently moved inside.
At the same time, a dark energy enveloped whole peak, confining the whole area from the rest of the world.
Inside the cave, three figures were standing with a complicated looks in their eyes.
"Do you not owe me something old man", Han Ren said with a cold voice.
After some silent the old man responded. His voice calm, "Don't worry your mount is okay".
The words were true Han Ren could also feel Kron recovering, as the sparks of Qi surrounded his entire body his very soul was also advancing but that tiny effect didn't matter now. Han Ren planned to recruit the two of them as a cannon fodder. But he knew the moment he showed any malice towards them he would die, He had to take it seriously.
"Why not conquer this very peak?'', Han Ren said, his tone calm.
The very word conquer was too great to fathom. Both were shocked yet Han Ren seemed composed.
'HA…I cannot understand this kid, Is he bold or he meant that', the old man was curious at the very thought, how will this boy carved his path'.
The old man didn't thought of it. The Jinghsi peak was itself a horror yet a real dragon commanded that horror. He laughed inwardly, the very thought of it made him amused or rather delightful.
Tianhe looked with a curiously. "Haahaha master this expedition will be worth it".
Han Ren, had already guessed their motive, but their relationship came in shocked even for him. Who would have thought they would be teacher and disciple.
The atmosphere was tense but surprisingly all three of them agreed.
"Well, it's a good mindset for youngsters to have but this battle would solely depend you two, as I would remain silent through the whole battle in this peak". A direct voice from the old man broke their silence.
His words were simple and direct but behind those words were excitement. The old man seemed to plan something but Han Ren couldn't figure it out.
These words should have cut through Tianhe but he also remained composed. That made them suspicious. But Han Ren remained silent. The withdrawn from the old man striked him like a lightning, he had to make his move by using the old man but at the moment that remained hard.
"Fine", he continued, his voice composed and calm. "But you have to enlightened us on every road, I am not asking for your agreement but a debt you owe me".
Han Ren words were true and the old man knew exactly what he had to do. The old man nodded in agreement.
Tianhe was rather discontent, his look was something adjusted.
'Is he afraid that his master won't join?', Han Ren sighed at the thought of it.
Well for a Noble family of immortals to be afraid of just a cave. It was truly saddening.
Tianhe looked rather sad. "Master, you can totally stay out of it, you don't need to come with us just stay put here, I don't need any help." His voice was sharp and distinct, he was pressuring his master to remain silent. Han Ren had a wrong view of him.
He was not afraid nor sad about a battle without his master but he was just angry and anguish about the fact that Han Ren asked help from the old man to enlightened them in their paths. Tianhe was more focused and confident that he didn't even need his master help nor Han Ren to conquer the jingshi peak.
"The two of us would conquer it". His voice cold and dominating. "Don't meddle in my path of being the strongest".
Tianhe eyes shone brightly like the red moon in a dark night shinning through the very top of the world.
Han Ren himself was puzzled, but he could not be any more sluggish. Han Ren immediately understood, he was the one who was the weakest. Of course, strong always doesn't mean strength or the dominating power. Strength could come in any way. As for this world, it meant experience and strong mentality with immense power. A smart guy can't win against a dominating power but with even a little strength, he could stand above anyone. Han Ren was that kind of men , always learning even in the face of the death.
The old man replied with confident yet his words were showing a slight concern for Tianhe, "Okay, but if there is even a moment where you will lose your life, I will step from here".
Tianhe nodded in agreement. Now facing with Han Ren he said, "Okay, lets do this our way".
To this Han Ren also replied with a composed tone, "yes".
Now, the both of them were ready to move forward.
The old man slightly turned away, after some seconds his energy completely vanished in the thin air. They were now left alone.
Han Ren was waiting for this moment, he was excited and was looking forward to at what level he would be when he come back surviving this.
Both nodded in agreement and dashed towards the very end of the cave.
Inside the cave, a dark gate stood at the centre. Inside was filled with large amount of Death Qi. Blood pooled everywhere, numerious bodies were boiling in a fire. Some bodies represented humans others were rather unknown. Fire was burning endlessly. The color of fire was somewhat unique, it's trajectory felt as if someone was instinctively moving it. The air was filled with unique smell of refining something, the fire was not just for the decoration, it was to burn and stablized the claudron that was refining something.
Before the fire was a lone figure, his whole body covered with a dark mist. He was looking at something. Suddenly, his smirk widened as the the video of Han Ren and Tianhe moving towards the very gate was being played in the blazing fire.
"Finally, hahahhahahah", The voice echoed through the very peak.
Moving back to Han Ren and Tianhe. They were staggered by the very voice from afar. The voice felt as if it were alive.
Tianhe trembled slightly, his face twitched showing a hint of excitement and curiosity.
"Let's move towards the gate", he voice sharp.
Han Ren understood the danger and was on the edge. As he slightly moved his hand towards Tianhe.
"Look left, don't move".
Tianhe slowly tilted his head towards left, his eyes widened, Han Ren could feel the fear in Tianhe eyes.
The thing they saw was truly ominous and disgusting yet they couldn't dared to move. They remained froze in the very middle of the cave.
What could have made Han Ren and even the great young master of a Shen family fear it?.
