The Dinner Party:
Finally it was time for the dinner party. It was past 6:30pm and both Qiushi and Nanzhu were all set for the event.
Quishi wore a black suit with a white undershirt and a black turtleneck, coupled with golden framed glasses. He looked like he was straight out of a webtoon, with his hairs styled perfectly and diamond necklace round his neck and a watch worth 7 figures on his hand and black shiny shoes.
On the other hand, Nanzhu wore a dark green striped suit with a black shirt with first two button undone, coupled with a necklace which was a simple rose gold chain with a ring in it. That was a gift from his handsome husband, Qiushi.
Everybody was already at the venue. Ruan's Mom and Dad had already arrived and were meeting with the other shareholders and department heads of the company. There were also a few top actors along with many rising stars. Actors from other companies and other partners had also arrived.
Soon there arrived a whole entourage and people were shocked at just the security of the entourage arriving. After it wasn't a normal entourage.
It was the whole Lin Family that had arrived!!
Somebody in the crowd:
"Who is this? The Lin's? But who are they exactly? I remember even last time they arrived at the company and it blew up the whole internet."
"I heard some rumors. The Top Actor who was caught in sex trade is called Lin Qiushi. Could it be him and his family?"
"Umm.. I don't think so. Where he, and where them?" The person said pointing to the people outside.
"Right, also didn't he retire from the industry already? Nobody knows anything about him for now. His Weibo is eating dust and his fans are also AFK!"
Each of the member that had arrived, had driven a super expensive car, each more expensive than the other. The Top Actor, even if he was rich, he couldn't be this rich, right?
Well, why not???

(Author: I guess, I never gave a proper introduction of Lin's family. I subtly seem to have mention, that Lin family was more powerful than Ruan's family and both were major share-holders in the other's companies.
The Lin family was the biggest Diamond Manufacturer in the whole country. Besides, they were No.1 Investors in the country, and had invested in several big projects in the country. They also around 100 big Diamond & Jewellary Stores in the entire country all of which led to almost 3% of entire country's GDP.
Their family was repeatedly awarded by the government with numerous awards, and they were also as charitable, donating over millions of US Dollars every where to charity, orphanages, old age homes, schools and to the medical sectors including hospitals, pharmaceuticals, medical device companies etc.
All-in-all they provided atleast 1 million people with job opportunities securing their daily needs and top housing facilities.
Lin Qiushi was never linked to the main family as he picked a whole opposite career. He didn't want to take over the family business. According to him the rest of his brothers, sisters, cousins were capable of doing so. And hence, nobody in the world was able to link him with The Lin Family.)

It was really The Lin Family that had arrived! As soon as Ruan's parents were notified, they immediately left everything and went out to greet their in-laws. Nobody in their dreams would have known that both families were actually in-laws.
Same sex marriage was now common and widely accepted. So when the news spread that RN Entertainment's heir had a husband instead of a wife, nobody really cared. After all, with the influence of the families, who cared about who and what the gender of the partner was?!
But if it was The Lin Family's son, then which son was it? There were so many siblings, so who was the actual heir to this huge empire?
"Lin Mama, you look beautiful." Ruan's mom complimented Qiushi's mom and hugged her lightly.
"Sister, you flatter me. Look at you, you are dazzling with diamonds today." Lin's mom praised her back.
"Of course, if as your in-laws, I don't show off, then what's the use me being a lady?" Ruan's mom winked at her.
"That, you're right!" Lin's mom replied with the same wink.
Meanwhile the fathers just hugged and started discussing about the share market going up and down and other various stuff which was mostly business.
"Oh, by the way, where are our precious boys?" Ruan's mom asked and to her surprise, Lin's mom asked the same question.
"Shouldn't I be asking you, sister?" Both smiled and shook their heads in understanding.
They knew how clingy and shameless their boys were. Must be doing something even at this time. Really shameless!!!
But just then the most expensive car in the world, Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire, also the only one of it's kind in the country, followed by two Black Rovers in front and two at the back stopped in front of the venue.
Since the venue was a large open air football court, it was easier to be noticed by the hundreds of people present inside.
Soon there were gasps and whispers filling up the venue. Everybody present was curious to know as to who was the partner of their CEO!
Yu Liang took this opportunity and greeted everyone.
"Hello and welcome everyone to this Welcome Party of my dear brother and the CEO of RN Entertainment and Co. On Behalf of the former CEO, the Boss Lady and the current CEO, and the whole family, I welcome you all to this wonderful evening."
Cheers and claps erupted as soon as Yu Liang finished his words.
"Also, it's time that we also welcome our new CEO and his partner to the stage. Today, call it a co-incidence, but also marks their 10th wedding anniversary. Ten years ago, due to an unfortunate incident while returning back home from the marriage office, they both separated only to be reuinted again after 10 years."
The whole venue fell into silence. Tenth wedding anniversary? Ten years of separation? Reunion? What was happening?
"Ladies and gentlemen, as a first hand witness to their crazy young love, followed by the 10 painful years of separation to the joyful and most beautiful reunion, I, Yu Liang, present before you, the CEO of RN Entertainment and Co., Ruan Nanzhu, and his one only love and husband, the eldest son of The Lin Family and known to everyone Top Actor, Xiao Mao, the one and only, Lin Qiushi. Please give them a warm welcome." Yu Liang announced and stepped aside.
The venue was silent for almost 10 seconds and then erupted with a loud applause and cheers.
In the midst of the crowd, the most handsome power couple -- Ruan Nanzhu and Lin Qiushi walked gracefully holding hands upto the aisle radiating a dominating aura.
People were in awe of the two men who had completely taken over the whole atmosphere making many of those present unable to breathe. Many of them felt their blood run cold, while many almost vomitted blood.
As for those who had accused Lin Qiushi of those filthy rumors, wanted to dig their graves and die. They had no clue as to whom they had offended in the process. The lonely top actor actually turned out to be the most powerful person in the room right now.
If he wished, he could just trample them with a snap of his finger, but he didn't. Which only meant, their bad days had just begun and now they had nowhere to hide.
Little did they know, that this whole stupid dinner party was actually held for them.. hahaha..
